Negative experience: Was visiting montreal from Ottawa, google mentioned they were open until 6pm on Saturdays however we got there around 5:20 and sadly they were closed. Looked nice through the windows, hopefully we get to go back when they are actually open.

Fantastic experience: Wow les poissons sauvage! Wild, colourful and on good health. Not only are the fish unique and rare and well kept, but the variety is large as well. You get expert information from Alladin on fish and all kinds of plants he has for sale, rare ones just like the fish. Never seen a store that has all wildcaught it makes it more interesting. A must visit if you are into aquariums.

The fish I purchased were expertly packed and safely made the trip from Montreal to Ottawa in the middle of winter.

I have been very pleased with the quality of the fish and also how the owner of the store takes care of his clients. Fantastic experience: Excellent service and a great source for some of the more uncommon wild type fish. I ordered fish from out of the province and got quick responses and amazing service. Fish and shrimp were healthy and ate right away. It was cold but I only had one DOA in the shipment, and they were happy to help me with that as well.

Fantastic experience: Best fish spot in Montreal area. Owner knows everything that he has for sale. You can ask him every single question possible and will get you answer without making you feel dumb. Super friendly and actually want to show you fishes just so you can enjoy them with him. Fishes and plants are super healthy. Nobody looks in a bad shape. Aquariums are such in a great condition that the fishes could live their entire life in them and having a great life. Fantastic experience: What a discovery Like many of us fish addicts, I was surfing the web looking for new fish to restock a 90 gallon aquarium. I was looking for a nice shop, able to deliver anywhere in Quebec, and a shop that cares not only about its customers but also about the fish and plants it sells. Well I guess I got lucky, located in Montreal, this amazing shop "La Maison du Poisson" does it all, great selection and amazing service… Will I go shopping there again…Yes. Will this become my primary shopping location… Yes. Seriously, after 10 hours in various bags, in transit to Gatineau, the packaging was perfect, no loss on about sixty fish. Fantastic experience: This is the place to go to if you are a serious fish keeper in search for an affordable source of rare species for your aquarium. The selection is carefully curated by the owners and you can find a wide range selection of corydoras and rare plecos in addition to other unseen South American species. The owner is very knowledgeable and takes time to share his passion with you, either you are a seasoned fishkeeper or new to the hobby. The tanks are clean and fishes are healthy, they are kept with catappa leaves to mimic the natural habitat of the fishes loaded with tannin. This store will probably become my to go place for fish supply. Currently open during the weekend and during weekdays by appointment.
