Positive experience: Update 2025: hippo tang still doing well The first time i went there the lady there was perfectly bilingual and provided excellent service.. Went back again to purchase 2 melanarus wrasse. The person serving me wasnt bilingual, and therefore it was more difficult for me to communicate.. i reduced my previous 5 star rating and may not return.

Fantastic experience: Just ordered from them. Sadly the first order was delayed due to FedEx and the corals didn’t make it as the water was ice cold when it got here in BC. Stephen from Reef Solution was nice enough to replace the dead torches. The second order came in perfect and the water was warm due to good packaging. The corals opened up within the hour.

Fantastic experience: Grabbed 2 stands & 1 tank on boxing day... great communication on the timming when they would be in the shop. Being a fresh water guy I was impressed with the livestock they had, & the condition of them. When I transition to salt they will be the first shop to visit to start my journey.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the quality of my first shipment. I am all the way in bc and your shipment arrived earlier than all the other suppliers that must’ve cost you a lot from Quebec. Also the corals look 1000% like the pics and were not even sold as wysiwyg. The stonies were shipped with floaters I’ve only seen that on YouTube great work. Also you have a stellar selection and more than fair prices. I look forward to doing more business.

Fantastic experience: I always have a good experience at this store. They always have what I need or they can order it if needed. The store is clean and they take good care of their livestock. Price wise, they carry a lot of long lasting, highend and quality material, so you won't find cheap things that last one month. You pay for what you get! They have beautiful fish and corals. All you need for an amazing reef tank! Overall it's my favorite reef shop and I go there a lot!

Positive experience: Great service with dry goods. Picked up a new shrimp as well.. Only complaint is that the live pods were bottled 44 days prior. I contacted Reef Nutrition and they recommended they be used 4-6 weeks if kept refrigerated. I had wished to save them for about a week so that I could add after my water change but I ended up adding them right away which wasn’t ideal.
Best would be to contact us when there is a problem…:What you receive are perflecly fresh and all alive we get pods weekly if they were 44 day old they would mostly be all dead. …Date are stamped on Cap and we removed all bottle cap when we receive and trow them in a bin so pods don’t suffoque. We put back any cap on the bottle when we gave you so it was not the original cap or original date thank you

Fantastic experience: One of the best reef place around Montreal. Quality hardware and healthy corals. Staffs know a lot. Highly recommend. P.S. Saltwater aquarium are not cheap, stuff is expensive. At ReefSolution, you have the same price bracket as other, but it comes with feedback, tailored needs and great quality.

Negative experience: Service well none As you walk in they yell out only for salt water aquarium and we are like a delanneur for cold water fish.
it is pandemic now unfortunately our store is restricted per law 4 persons in the store , we are essential service for saltwater customer. We work hard many hour per day putting our health and life at risk and dont feel we deserve such a harsh review for following the law and try to survive in this pandemic

Negative experience: Horrible service by Stephane at the cash. Clearly the guy didn't want to work! Very negative in tone of voice, tips and general service. I guess the rest of the staff are pleasant to talk to!
normalement j'essaie d'être politiquement correct mais tu est l'exception a la règle. en ce moment on travaille 70-80 heure semaine avec un masque dans le visage et oui j'essaie de prendre une pause de temp en temp enlever le masque et rester derriere le plexiglass respiré. Mais avec des personnes dans ton genre qui pense juste a leur nombril venir nous salir sur internet jai pas de patience j'aime mieux pas en voir dans mon magasin... quand tu viens me voir pour me demander une question sur ton osmoses que tu a a acheter ailleur et que en plus tu me dit que ailleurs il ton dit autre chose et tu veux que je t'aide désoler mais va y ailleurs et reviens pas je suis pas ton esclave. On a des vrai CLIENT a servir.....

Positive experience: Limited entrance... but one section was close due to covid. But it was still very nice. No lineup... no people next to one and other... lots of seats... very safe
Negative experience: Placed a phone call to ask a question about my tank that I was just starting up and the guy that I spoke to today at 5:14 to speak English and told me if I don't speak French he won't speak to me. What kind of service is that??? I'm totally disappointed in this place.
Negative experience: Really great store with great prices but the guy at the desk ruins it for me. His name is Frank I believe. He refuses to speak any english or at least try. He is also extremely rude and unwelcoming. There was no one in the store and he kept rushing me to leave. I was planning on taking my time, buy a few corals and other needs for my reef rank but with his attitude didn’t happen. At the cash, I asked if I can add something to my purchase and he rolled his eyes at me. I’m sure he has people walk out with nothing. Not good for business. He lost a customer.

Negative experience: Bought some fish and plants 2 weeks ago, it turns out that were infected , I had 5 years old loaches, all dead now(this is the only addition to my tank this year). Poor hygiene and low maintenance, don't want to see this store again
