Positive experience: Buildings were very warm and stuffy and the amount of animals is low, however the hands-on-exhibits were great.

Walter Lucas 2 months ago

Negative experience: Under construction!! Very disappointing. Parking is a good 5 to 10 minute walk away. No discount on the admission charge.

Sophi 2 months ago

Positive experience: It is a pretty new one ( still in construction). However, you can have a nice time there; petting the sting rays, starfish, and sea urchins... This was my first time seeing polar bears, which made my experience to visit this aquarium worth it !!!

Inky 2 months ago

Negative experience: It was 40 degrees today in Quebec city and the polar bears, Arctic foxes and the Greenland seals were all outside in the heat and scorching sun. This is torture for the poor animals. I hope they will build better conditions for the summer (aka air conditioned areas for them to stay in).

Toni Daccak 2 months ago

Positive experience: Honestly, there was less animals than before. Site is under construction and hopefully it will be better when all is set and done.

Mandeep Singh 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Guides are really polite and respectful. The aquarium was in construction, but still I managed to see all the animals, even polar bear in the 33 degree temperature.

Sharf Chowdhury 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: While we missed the polar bear exhibit, which I suspect was due to hot weather and construction, we had a tremendous time. This was our second visit, but it was certainly enjoyable. I would recommend this beautiful city and the aquarium, in particular, to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A visit to the Aquarium du Québec is a delightful experience for all ages. One of the highlights is the incredible variety of jellyfish—mesmerizing, colorful, and beautifully displayed in well-lit tanks that give you a close-up look at these fascinating creatures. Another standout feature is the interactive stingray pool. Guests can actually touch the stingrays, making it an exciting, hands-on experience, especially for kids. It's both educational and fun, offering a rare opportunity to connect with marine life. The grounds of the aquarium are just as impressive as the exhibits inside. Beautifully landscaped gardens and flowing fountains provide a serene and scenic setting, perfect for a leisurely stroll between attractions or for taking a break outdoors. A visit wouldn't be complete without seeing the polar bear, a true crowd-pleaser. Watching this magnificent animal swim and play is unforgettable, and the enclosure is designed to offer great viewing angles. Whether you're visiting with children or just looking for a peaceful and engaging place to explore, the Aquarium du Québec offers a well-rounded, enriching experience. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: It was raining so the outside stuff was a write off but still enough stuff inside to pass a few hours. The building work makes it hard for people in wheelchairs etc to get nearby as the parking is all a little bit of a walk

GP Val 3 months ago

Negative experience: Parc half closed. Full price. What a rip off. Parking is like 1km away, no sidewalk. Had to walk in the mud and stuff while it was raining. Really not fun.

Fantastic experience: Aquarium du Québec is a great place to visit with family! We loved the variety of marine animals — belugas, walruses, jellyfish, seals — everything is well organized and focused on nature education. Our child especially enjoyed the play area and animal feedings. The atmosphere is relaxing, the grounds are clean, and there are cafes and resting areas. Highly recommend for all ages!

Karen Quesnel (K) 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Despite the construction the visit was really nice. Not only are there amazing displays of the live fish and other things (I wasn't able to stay to visit the whole site), but there are beautiful walkways and gardens outside the exhibits. I will definitely be going back again with all of my grandchildren.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. My family enjoyed the visit.

VerĂłnica Molina 3 months ago

Positive experience: Nice place, great friendly staff, some fun stuff to do (such touch and feed the rays)

Santo 3 months ago

Negative experience: No warning that half the place is under construction and barely any animals. No polar bears or walruses. Even the restaurant closed a hour ahead of the park's closing time. This was not our first time here and got to say this time was very disappointing. Absolute waste of money. I do not suggest you go here until the renovations are completed.

Fantastic experience: I’m greatfull with the experience. I don’t like to much to see the animals locked up but they know how take care about them.

Hoda Moawad 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: It’s was I really good experience to see the bear for first time

Lesley Carter 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Can't wait for the renos to be done it's already perfect ❤️. Just make sure to plan your visit around when the polar bear viewing is or you might not see him if it's a hot day.

Mathew Yee 3 months ago

Positive experience: There's currently a lot of construction around the entrance and accessway to the aquarium. Pedestrians arriving by bus need to walk a 20min detour down Rue Valmont, then along a bike path, to get to the aquarium.

Dale Ianni 3 months ago

Positive experience: The exhibits are wonderful but they are under construction and some of the exhibits are closed or have limited availability but the biggest thing is not clear where to park during the construction.

Gabriel Bossé 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: We love the aquarium. Great family outing. There is some construction to improve the outdoor exhibits at the moment. Its better to buy tickets ahead of time.

Mister E 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Incredible but a little underwhelming compared to the pictures online. I was expecting the underwater tunnel to be longer than the 10-20 feet it was. Still pretty neat experience and looks like its expanding.

Fantastic experience: FISH MANY FISH I really liked looking at all the jellyfish. One of the staff showed me her very cool jellyfish tattoo It was a bit busy but that was our own fault for going on a weekend

Shiv B 3 months ago

Positive experience: Went on a cold and rainy afternoon and ended up having a really good time. Parking was a bit of a walk because of nearby construction but once we got in, everything was easy to navigate. The indoor exhibits were solid with cool tanks and a great jellyfish section. They also had areas where you could touch stingrays and starfish which was a nice bonus even though our toddler just wanted to keep moving. The place is super stroller friendly which made the whole visit way more relaxed. Wide paths and ramps everywhere so no issues getting around. We missed the polar bears by a few minutes since the recommended viewing time was 2:15 which we didn’t know until after. Would’ve loved to see them since our kid is obsessed. The Arctic foxes were out though and absolutely beautiful. Saw that they’re older than their expected age which made it feel special. The seal area felt a bit small but they’re building new habitats so good to see upgrades coming. Gift shop had some nice stuff and we left with a new polar bear plush. One heads up is that it closes at 4 which is a bit earlier than expected so plan accordingly. Overall a great visit for families with young kids. Even with the weather and missing a few animals we had a fun and easy afternoon. Would come back.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience, saw polar bears and arctic foxes for the first time, wonderful collection of fishes and sea creatures

Greg McLaughlin 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: This was a very nice experience for being there early in the season.. They are doing some major additions and infrastructure work, this place I expect will look amazing once finished. I will have to come back when all the new habitats are completed.

David Mark 4 months ago

Positive experience: Quite a bit of construction underway. For the price, it is fair. Takes about 2 hours to see everything. I wouldn’t return until the renovations are finished.

Kelly Houle 4 months ago

Negative experience: We were turned away at the gate due to not purchasing online tickets however as we struggled to manipulate buying them online three other groups of desks paid at the gate— attendant was rude Animals were sparse and looked unwell especially Artic fox Darkness in the halls of fish helped the effect however a gentleman could not see the heaters on opposite of hall and ran right into it— hope he’s okay Labelling of fish hard to read in the dark Two gentlemen at the starfish and rays were exceptional with children and added little humor to adults — amazing to see Perphaps re-open after construction

marissa kitchen walters 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: Amazing time here with the family, I loved the jelly fish exhibit, the polar bears are huge, was a little complicated to find the bears because there’s some construction beside them, but they had put signs to help guide you, but overall loved the experience, loved being outside, it’s a really nice experience

Daria Demina 4 months ago

Negative experience: The only good thing about this place is the view on the bridge. A lot of fish tanks were closed, others were looking old and worn out. Even kids didn’t enjoy it. Waste of money (quite expensive for such an experience).

Emily Houston 4 months ago

Positive experience: The sting rays were definitely the nightly for us. A lot of exhibits were under construction, and the outdoor activities are not great during the colder months. Would be interested to come back when they’re done the renovations in a few years.

Julieta LJUBICH 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: I was there inspectiong formwork done by the company where I work. Beautiful place.

Max Black 4 months ago

Negative experience: What a horrible place!!! Why does anyone like this. Contruction mess on the way up, contruction noises on the inside. My you g child spent the entire time scared to bits not because of fish, but because of all of the loud noises. Dont recommend coming here and never coming back.

Andrii Vykliuk 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: We spent about 4 hours seeing everything. Kids 7 and 10 years old were on cloud nine.

Mohamed Mokrane 4 months ago

Positive experience: I thought I’d see fish, not construction crews! Save your tickets until the aquarium is back in action.

Giovanna FalcĂŁo 4 months ago

Negative experience: If you’re planning to take your kids here, please reconsider. Teach them to love and respect animals and their environments. The very first animal we saw, a turtle, was constantly scratching its claws against the glass. The lobster in the petting area (which is already a terrible concept for any animal) had its claws glued together. In the same tank, the starfish were clearly distressed and trying to protect themselves. Not to mention the famous polar bears, which are somehow living in Quebec City! Many of the plants were clearly fake, and we even saw a clothes clip inside one of the fish tanks. I also have to mention the dozens of tiny tanks where fish are kept. It was deeply upsetting. I couldn’t enjoy the visit knowing so many living beings are being confined for no reason other than to be on display for the public. It’s not just the animals’ enclosures, the hallways for visitors looked neglected and abandoned. Overall, this place gave off very bad vibes, and I strongly believe an animal protection organization should investigate the Aquarium du Québec. Respect animals.

La24jackie 4 months ago

Positive experience: Went during off season on a cloudy Tuesday. Quite a few aquariums were closed. There’s a lot of construction going on for a 2-3 story high garage which will probably be ready this year and a new building set to ooen in 2026 for seals and otters . So the outside area was meh. We did see the 2 polar bears, a white fox, an owl and seals in their outdoor pools. The jellyfish are always my favorite. We saw a whole bunch of fish, mini sharks, seahorses, got to oet starfish, anemones and rays. To top it off we were just lucky enough to have staffers feed 2 seals while it was just the 2 of is present. Perfect visit ❣️

Jocelyne Beaudry 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: Second time visiting this aquarium and both times have been amazing. Love seeing the different jellyfish they have. They also had polar bears my second time around which were amazing to see. Lots of construction happening at the moment to grow the space which has some exhibits closed but doesn't affect overall.

Tucan 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: It is really nice to touch the lil stingrays! The museum is great, and the design is amazing. They really manage to show the animals in the best way possible. Amazing experience, and worth the trip to Quebec alone.

Mona W 5 months ago

Positive experience: Many installations under construction, but it is overall it is a great experience. Touching the stingrays was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Imran Abdul Rahim 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: Worth the experience. My kids really love the seal and polar bear. This is must visit in Quebec. Oh yes, u can touch the stingray

Yu-Yan Poon 5 months ago

Negative experience: Make reservations before you go. If you do not have reservations don't bother going. No ticket is available at the door. There is construction around the area. Parking arrangement is very poor and extremely disorganized. We wasted 2 hours to find out we cannot go in.

Leo Kot 5 months ago

Positive experience: Aquarium of Quebec: $50 for two adults, or as I call it, a donation to construction-themed obstacle courses where most things are closed in the winter months. But hey, that’s just Quebec being Quebec—if there aren’t cones, are you even in the province? Still, it’s a solid spot. Cool exhibits, arctic foxes doing their fluffy thing, jellyfish floating like they’re on something stronger than saltwater. But I swear, every visit there’s one less animal. It’s like a slow magic trick—now you see them, now they’ve moved to Abu Dhabi. Speaking of which, RIP (Relocated In Paradise) to Boris the walrus. He’s not dead, just upgraded to luxury walrus life in the UAE. Miss you, blubber boy. Parking lot can get real busy—arrive early!!!

Marcel 5 months ago

Positive experience: We had a great visit. Weather wasn't great to see all the outdoor attractions, but what we did experience was great. We will be back in a nicer day to take in the outdoor attractions and shows.

Kelsey Smith 5 months ago

Positive experience: All in all a decent aquarium. There was a lot of construction going on which made it a little less enjoyable. And the polar bears and artic foxes seemed kind of sad. The jelly fish exhibit was really cool and the highlight for me.

Prasanna Herath 5 months ago

Positive experience: A very good place for kids. Have a large collection. Can pet star fish and stingrays. Another attraction is the polar bears. Open throughout the year. Best in summer, during winter, not many places you can visit without getting exposed to harsh winter weather. This makes me give 4 stars.

Sandra Sunshine 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: Nice place to visit with kids all ages. There are elevators and a breastfeeding place. Some spots to dine or snack, with a restaurant. Some animals are outside so make sure you are appropriately dressed. Just a head up that some rooms are really dark.

Nasi Mo 6 months ago

Positive experience: It was interesting place. The only thing was that, they said we need to buy tickets online even when we were in the entrance of it. So people were trying to buy tickets online by their phones at the entrance . It took time and I never saw sth like this anywhere before.

Alex Liebersbach 6 months ago

Positive experience: The winter wasn't probably the best time to come. Too much construction, and all of the outdoor spaces inaccessible because of snow, and none of the "live" performances running. Nonetheless, lots of cool animals, and the kids loved it, especially the Manta Rays! It would be nice if there was a schedule online of when different "interesting" activities were taking place, like at what time they feed the polar bears!

Matt Brenton 6 months ago

Positive experience: Pretty standard experience for what you'd expect at any city aquarium. Too bad the polar bears were relaxing just out of our view. I think they feed them or do a little presentation early in the day. I would try to make it for that.

Victor Tykva 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Really nice place to visit in Quebec. We spend a lot of time here. Parking is available. There are a lot of attractions and things to see and do for kids there. We visited place in August and weather was good so we had no problem with walking outside. There are some restaurants and playgrounds inside. It is one of the top destinations in Quebec. I definitely recommend to see it and explore it.

Arthi Jeyamohan 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: What a great experience. This is set up in a way where it is both outside and indoors. We did this trip in both winter and summer and it is a totally different experience in both seasons. I recommend booking either the last or first tickets to have a more private experience. There is free parking and everything is white accessible - but it is walking intensive, so if you have issues with that please be aware. Otherwise fantastic location for kids and adults. I went as a couple and the jellyfish housing was such a delight!

Mel B 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Kids loved it and the yummy sugary treat was a fun touch.

Irene M. Cruz 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: First visit in March 2025 and it was awesome. Loved the jelly fish exhibit and the polar bears. You can pet all types of animals like starfish and stingrays. You have to buy your tickets online for a time slot. Parking is free and the facilities were clean. Awesome Aquarium!!!

Rejivar A. 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: It was wonderful. Lots of fish. There was an easy to view standing area for kids at each tank, and tpuching the stingrays was super fun too.

Kristy B 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: This aquarium blew us away. We could not stop talking about what a great place this was. We felt that all the tanks looked very clean! And all the fish and animals looked happy. Not shoved into tiny tanks. We loved that. Let me tell you something... if you're a jellyfish lover, get ready to be very excited. This is the best assortment of jellyfish I have seen at any aquarium. Many types I had never seen before, either. Absolutely stunning. The outdoor animals were so exciting. The polar bears have a very large enclosure. We were lucky enough to go on a cold snowy day when they came out to play. What a sight. The owls, foxes, and other animals were all so beautiful and well taken care of. We loved the layout of the inside as well. It wraps you around so you see everything. It is a lot of walking - especially outside to the other buildings and bathrooms and restaurant, etc. But we bundled up and were fine. We really enjoyed this place and can't wait to come again.

Doctor Collette 6 months ago

Negative experience: Parking was very far from the building. When we arrived we found out you can only buy tickets online, not in person and must book your entry time in advance. This was after 10 minute wait for parking and a long walk in the cold. We did not end up going in as we could not get tickets for another hour.

Fantastic experience: The Aquarium of Québec City is a fantastic destination for families, especially with kids. Visiting in winter adds a magical touch, with snow-covered outdoor trails and stunning views of the St. Lawrence River. The diverse marine life, including seals, walruses, and polar bears, is even more captivating against the winter backdrop. Interactive exhibits and touch pools allow children to learn about aquatic creatures up close, making it an engaging experience. The friendly, knowledgeable staff provide insightful information, and the clean facilities and well-maintained habitats create a pleasant environment. Overall, a five-star attraction perfect for a winter family day out!

Marisha Nozdryn-Plotnicki 7 months ago

Positive experience: Totally worth a visit. Obviously the jellyfish were a highlight. The unexpected MVP was the colour changing giant octopus taking apart duplo. Only took away a star because it wasn’t obvious what was where and when it’s super cold outside, that matters. Would recommend planning your route while inside!

Harkrishan Punn 7 months ago

Positive experience: Nice quiet visit on a Friday afternoon. The place seemed a bit empty with restaurants closed before the posted closing time which was a bummer. The highlight easily were the polar bears and the foxes. Been to the Toronto Zoo multiple times but never seen them so active elsewhere. Aquarium of Quebec has a great big enclosure for them. Made me think of my zoo tycoon days!!. Lots of construction ongoing. Staff were kind and gave information in both French and English. So did all the animal info boards.

Fantastic experience: We had so much fun as a family, even in the winter. It was perfect. Memories to share for years :-)

Fantastic experience: My daughter loved it so much, parking situation sucked a little bit for now but it's under construction. We loved the jelly fish area and everything else, there was literally almost no one when we visited so that is a plus. Would highly recommend it

Positive experience: A good experience overall ! I loved the section for jellyfish. Kids can really enjoy the place. I didn’t find it interesting at some point.

Zy Mac Donald 7 months ago

Positive experience: They are constructing new buildings on the site so parking is a bit far from the entrance. It was fun for the kids, a lot less to see than other bigger aquariums. We loved the jellyfish and stingray building!!

hannah raes 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: The two pavilions had some very nice sea creatures and a lot of information on them. The bigger tanks are also very nicely decorated. We went in the winter, so there was quite a bit of snow outside, which was so pretty. It was especially nice to see the artic foxes and polar bears in the snow. For food we tried the beaver tail with maple, so delicious. They were renovating a lot, so i am excited to see the new exhibits in 2026.

Tanja R 8 months ago

Positive experience: We had a nice family visit with 2 kids of 9 and 11. Spend there about 1.5h as it was very cold outside (-18) and you need to walk outside too. After renovation, we will surely be back.

Antoine Aflalo 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: We went there with the family and it's definitely awesome to do it with kids. So many fishes to see, the only disappointing part is the tunnel, is so short especially if you compare to the one in Toronto. The staff was super friendly even with the power that went out.

Samantha Nadj 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great place. We loved the polar bears and seals exhibits the most. Please be careful with the elevator though. It does not have a sensor to make the door stop closing while someone is trying to board. I don't feel that is safe given the number of children present. Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Jagjeet Singh 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: I went there with my wife, it was a good experience, the best part was seeing the polar bear play and also taking a look at various fascinating species of jelly fishes was really amazing too. A must-see for the kids as they would really enjoy it. The aquarium was not too busy either, even though it was a public holiday at the day we went over there.

Doneyli De Jesus 8 months ago

Positive experience: Really good winter experience. The highlight were the polar bears! You really get to see them up close. Great activity for the family.

Fantastic experience: We are from Toronto and we have visited this aquarium twice. It is well sized and has a lot of creatures to show. We were not able to see the polar bear this time which was quite disappointing to the kids.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Although no polar bear was found. No luck. But rest all I love the place. Found an Arctic fox.

Fantastic experience: My family and I really enjoyed visiting this aquarium! There was so much to see so we spent most of the day there. They have many tanks with all kinds of fish and shellfish, big and small, There are also outdoor enclosures with polar bears, seals, etc. We loved the stingray touch tank. You can feed them, which was fun, There were a couple of other touch tanks too. The property and exhibits were clean and well-maintained. The creatures all looked healthy.

Fantastic experience: The aquarium was fantastic. The pole bears were my fave! However, it took us about an hour to find it due to construction and detours.

Philip Yazbak 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great aquarium with some incredible tanks. Everything was clean and well kept. As an aquarium hobbyist and fish enthusiast, every creature seemed healthy and happy. The lines weren't too long. The parking lot was under construction but I'm sure they will wrap that up in a few months. This is a fantastic aquarium for adults and kids!

Positive experience: Great Expérience, but not lot of attractions to spend a Day. Has Childrens Park and in summer bring lunch to enjoy the river View

Positive experience: Nice displays of varying aquatic and animal life. Smaller than I had anticipated, but the interactive displays were fun. My favourite were the jelly fish and the octopus! The lookout of the bridge was cool too.

David Paterson 11 months ago

Positive experience: Went many years ago when the attraction had just opened. This time it was really impressive. Each of the three main pavilions has its theme. The seals and arctic foxes were a surprise. There is a lot of improvement work being done outside (parking & access) and inside mammal environments which reduced the appreciation, but definitely worth the visit when in the city.

Fantastic experience: I loved this aquarium. Super fun interactive aquarium. The tour guy was super nice

Fantastic experience: Loved this aquarium! It's not an overwhelming crowd, so you can actually take time and enjoy viewing the animals. I'm from Florida in the U.S. and haven't been able to see most of these animals. It was a wonderful experience overall. There are some beautiful views here.

Russ Nafi 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! Well organized and meticulously maintained exhibits. The jellyfish room was more like a vivid show with intricate light and sound effects than a plain aquarium exhibit. My kid loved the pirate ship themed tropical fish exhibit. Definitely worth the time spent to get there.

Tim 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure why this attraction in Quebec isn't rated higher. I read reviews that marked it down for the catering facilities but I didn't really have an issue. Sure it wasn't very busy when we visited and off -season so not every cafe and food truck was open. That's very normal. You can't pay staff to tend everywhere when you don't get the custom. We had a better than average experience in the cafe and the lady was polite and working very hard to serve multiple people. Construction I'm sure it's majorly harming their business but you can see once it's finished the place will be amazing. They are doing a good job timing construction in the zoo with the road and parking lot condition outside. There were some areas I think need improvement. The cafe building glass windows were dirty with spiders, cobwebs and dirt and we didn't get to see the polar bears because they stayed inside their enclosure in the hot weather. An area inside to view the bears would be nice so we didn't miss out on them, but we understand of course animals do as they please so it's not exactly their fault they weren't outside for our visit. I also enjoyed the outside areas and there was lots of space! Another suggestion would be to add fish to the outside ponds and streams. It's actually an aquarium after all! But there are so many positives. Entry fee was small and the experience of being able to touch starfish, sea anemones and stingray was awesome. The stingrays even come up to you to play! The exhibits were great especially the octopus, jellyfish and seahorses. As long as you take the place to its strengths you won't be disappointed and you can see how much they are trying to improve!

Sergei Serdyuk 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Always a great place to stop by on a family trip. They're doing some construction at the moment so parking is on my distant lots only but they promised the seals will get a brand new home, which is totally worth it. Our favorites, the jellyfish and the octopus are as good as ever!

Rohit Bhatnagar 1 year ago

Positive experience: If you have already seen the aquarium in Toronto or Boston, then this place is too small for you.. and over crowded. Additionally, there is no polar bear .. not sure why it’s there on their website. There is only 1 small cafeteria which was out of food options during our visit.. ticket counter was out of printer so they charged but there is no physical ticket or receipt provided, which is an inconvenience for a foreign traveler.

Allen Furtado 1 year ago

Positive experience: Unfortunately, the site has not been properly maintained and the facilities are in need of new plexiglass panes. Windows are hazy and scratched and it's hard to see through. The jellyfish exposition is exceptionally impressive as shown in the pictures...

D L 1 year ago

Positive experience: Really nice. Particularly enjoyed the polar bear and the several different kinds of jellyfish and seahorses! So the attraction itself was amazing but the food places were just weird. At noon the bistro was closed even though it said it was open until 2.30pm. The beaver tails truck was closed at 1pm came back at 3 and still closed. It was really hot that day and kids wanted ice cream but ice cream counter was closed all day too. The building with the bigger eating area was super dirty. No one took care of it. Flies everwhere. Workers behind the counter though were nice. I'd love to give one star for all of the eating places but I don't want the rating for the actual aquarium to go down.

Regan D 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Such a great place to visit! It is very child friendly although some hills are tough with a stroller. There is a lot of walking which is great for stretching your legs if you've been driving awhile. The staff with the starfish was so informative and very helpful with children. We loved the polar bears and stingrays! Unfortunately all the food and ice cream places were closed we weren't prepared for that and wish we brought snacks and food. Otherwise I definitely recommend!

Positive experience: It was pretty cool. Seeing all kinds of fish that I've never seen before (+starfish/ octopus , jellyfish) and special random other guests (foxes, owls, polar bears ). But best of all, was that we found Nemo

Fantastic experience: Visited the Quebec Aquarium with my family, and it was such a beautiful experience! Despite the rain and the crowd, we had so much fun exploring the exhibits, filming videos, and taking lots of photos. It’s a great spot for a family day out, rain or shine!

Positive experience: Still loads of improvements to make, but the best experience are still indoors at the moment. Would have been a 5 star rating if the outdoor activities matched with the indoor ones.

Marwan Rashidi 1 year ago

Positive experience: Nice variety of salt waters, fresh waters and deep waters. Positive experience to get to hold the star fish and play with the sting rays in the large aquarium. Bit overpriced for the time spent.

Helena AndĂşjar 1 year ago

Negative experience: During the summer, there's a bus route (#400) that stops here on weekends, so I went on a Sunday morning at 9am. It's a good time slot because at that hour the crowds haven't arrived. It was not what I expected at all. I only enjoyed the jellyfish exhibit. Didn't see any arctic foxes or birds. The fish tanks were either unclean or poorly illuminated because I couldn't see the fishes clearly. Did see some seals and stingrays; also one polar bear which didn't look happy. At 10am I was back at the bus stop feeling crestfallen. This feeling was the exact opposite of what I felt in the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto (which is pricier but absolutely worth it).

Fantastic experience: Cute and fun. The polar bear exit was currently closed which was disappointing but the grounds were beautiful it was way to walk and there was a lot of very awesome unusual animals to look at. Over all we had an amazing time!

Positive experience: The aquarium has a large assortment of creatures and lots of areas to check out. We found it slightly confusing and potentially easy to miss something if your a first time visitor. We loved all the landscaping, the assortment of play equipment, food areas, rest areas etc. We especially loved the polar bear info exhibit, with the ice room. The jelly fish, seahorse and touch tank was also super neat. Although with the darkness and mirrors it could be difficult for those with poor eye sight. Some of the exhibits are most definitely showing signs of aging and make some of the fish hard to see. As the tanks are scratched up or dark. Its too bad that the top floor of the exhibit hall wasn't darkened as it would also make it easier to see the fish. Some exhibits are closed. Over all though we enjoyed our visit. Hopefully next trip to Quebec some upgrades will be made.

Fantastic experience: On Google Maps it’s one price, at entrance we paid so much higher, I don’t know why. Overall we had good time. Nice experience with light show for kids and also jelly fish show , huge variety.

Fantastic experience: We see animals ,landscapes , some perfesional and attractive architectural compositions ,animals are safe ,and we have to know nobody can't change the old modern batiment because of the essence of modernism .So maybe people would be boring of some old modern designing ,but this is not a problem at all .

Positive experience: The highlight for us was watching the female Polar Bear play with a ball and barrel in her enclosure. The jellyfish exhibit was also very good. We have visited many other aquariums around the world and found the other exhibits to be wanting. Some of the fish labeling appeared to not be current with some fish not in the labeled tank or fish that didn’t match any of the labels. For the locals you take what’s available but for travelers there are much better aquariums in other places.

Positive experience: Smallish but good to kill a few hrs with kids. Fun little obstacle course at the top. Polar bear was cool! A few touch tanks.
