Horniman Aquarium

Positive experience: Lovely little aquarium. I was expecting it to be bigger since there was an entry fee. Was a little disappointed that it was so small. My 7year old loved it.

Fantastic experience: this place is a lovely hidden gem and theres plenty for kids to do the outside space with the animals is lovely we saw sheep , alpacas etc plenty of outside space to relax , the aquarim is small but still lovely lots of fish to see. the robot exhibit that was on was so good so much to see and do. if you are on uc you get tickets foe £1 so in total we payed £4 for both the aquarim snd robot zoo for 1 x child and 1 x adult. downside ia the cafe - its very expensive. my son who's almost 5 had the chicken cojouns and chips and it was only two small pieces of chicken. not worth £8 at all.

Fantastic experience: A small aquarium that is well worth buying a ticket for. It kept my small children (2 & 7) very happy - there was a lot to see in a very small space such as frogs, seahorses and various fish! I was impressed as I wasn't sure what it would be like. The rest of the museum and grounds is worth a visit as well and we'll definitely take the time to go back and explore more another time. We booked our tickets for the opening (10.30) and it was reasonably busy with lots of small children and their carers.

Fantastic experience: A nice Aquarium that doesn't cost a fortune to visit and it's a reasonable size With many types of fish, jelly fish, frogs, plants and loads of information on the different things.

Fantastic experience: It’s a small but fun aquarium with a diverse range of colourful exhibits, including fish, crustaceans, amphibians and jellyfish. The cost is reasonable for what it offers. I would recommend the extra £6 for a ticket if you are visiting the Horniman. You can buy it in advance or at the front desk.

Positive experience: Great place for the kids to see some great underwater species and their habitats, very small aquarium but still enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful aquarium it's small but very well done. Worth the money as I got some great photos of the fish, jellyfish and frogs. They look wonderfully looked after and the colours are glorious in my photos. Worth going to here as it's near where I live and it was busy but not so packed one couldn't enjoy my visit. Also they have a good lighting for photos and videos. Good for people of all ages. I highly recommend here.

Positive experience: Took my grandchildren. Prices for everything way overpriced. The aquarium is a massive con and needs expanding. Although not expensive, it's just too small and not enough aquatic life to look at.

Fantastic experience: Not particularly large, but the tanks and displays are clean well maintained and full of healthy happy looking fish. My sons enjoyed the array of fish. I also found the staff and guides helpful and happy to answer questions. For the cost I really couldn't complain.

Fantastic experience: So good for babies as well as older kids! The tanks are low enough to properly look into, it’s really well priced - and the added bonus of course of the rest of the fascinating museum and grounds.

Fantastic experience: This is a small aquarium, but has a good diverse collection of fish and coral. Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Positive experience: A £5 entry fee won't get you a Sealife Aquarium experience and though the experience itself may be brief, it is a well thought out and highly educational one - especially for the little ones. There are a fascinating range of oceanic and river-centric wildlife to see, with the Amazon Rainforest section being a particularly well thought out highlight. Don't expect a myriad of wildlife here and you won't be disappointed.

Positive experience: Reasonable price for what it is, we managed to see some interesting frogs and other fish. It would be great to have more space or make more out of the one you guys already have.

Positive experience: It's ok but it's so small I think it's too expensive for what it is esp having to pay for an uninterested 4yr old. We spent 5mins and it was over. We could've done it in 3 tbh.
