Fantastic experience: Go here all the time for my fish owners have an extremely good range and very helpful and knowledgeable. Have a good range of L numbered plecos. Prices are reasonable compared to other aqautic stores visited in Yorkshire. Would 100 percent recommend getting fish from here. They also have a range of other pet products.

Negative experience: Not a very great place at all i belive they do not care about the stock of fish they have not only was there dead fish in all but 3 of there tanks the bloke was rather rude about it when we told them, i would avoid this place like the plague

Fantastic experience: My bf told about this wee place for live food for my 3 geckos crickets and meal worm have went down very well no locust today but should be in by Thursday so bf will get some for them. Staff very polite and friendly. Had A bearded ragon i would have loved to take him home but 3 geckps and a dog is enough

Fantastic experience: The staff seem verry friendly,helpfull and knowledgeable and they have a average amount of tropical fish. I've only been in a few times for fish and they all appear very healthy which is the main thing and they are all so vibrant looking with no signs of illness. The aquariums also all look well kept amd maintained.

Negative experience: I’m not one for bad reviews but when you’ve spent a hell of a lot of money on a tortoise you expect good customer service. It wasn’t too bad when we bought it but we’ve been in twice since and the shop owner is ignorant and doesn’t want to engage with a rather excited 11 year old that loves his tortoise. We won’t be back in I’d rather buy online.

Negative experience: I went in after my friend had bought one of the rats that sounded poorly, she said she couldn't get the other one, so I went and bought it. I now have both in my care, they're seriously ill with respiratory infections, and one is actually a female now pregnant from being kept with a male. I was also appalled that I wasn't asked for ID, if I had an appropriate set up or anything, and I made out I didn't keep rats and this was an impulse buy. I was offered no advice, not a suitable cage, not that he sold suitable cages for rats, no food or substrate. They where kept on sawdust which for rats causes respiratory infection. I would call and speak to him about this, but he threatened to take one of the rats from my friend when she went back and confronted him about the illness, and said he paid £2 for each of them and wouldn't make a profit. This level of negligence and lack of care for the welfare and health of the animals is disgusting behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Visited this shop today with our 7 month old puppy. Needed a waterproof jacket. Cant praise the person in the shop enough. Great service and his interaction with the dog and us as owners was flawless. If I lived local this shop would be my port of call. Just disappointed that only the dog got a chew

Negative experience: I got a hamster from there he said it is not a nibbling age but we found out it was so we got it out every day to get is use to us but all it dose is bite us all the time not a good shop to get hamsters from he just tells lies to you all to here what you want so he get your mone well let this be a little reminder for all you perants who intend to buy from him

Positive experience: A great selection of tropical fish and very helpful. Unfortunately he is not very reliable with opening. Have been many time when it should be open and it's shut or the fish tank lights are off and he won't sell you any fish. Which is a shame because he is very good other than that.
