Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. Had this place suggested to me by others and didn't disappoint large selection of fresh and marine fish equipment fish and aqua scaping products . Great staff and owner who were friendly welcoming. Price wise I would say very fair they have a selection of fish for all budgets and tastes. Mobility wise I would say not wheel chair friendly due to space restrictions inside between isles and tanks. Hoping to visit again soon

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting uk aquatics for about a year now. I buy almost all my fish from them. The owner Ian and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming and best of all they know thier stuff. 100% recommendation from a 40 year plus fish keeper.

Fantastic experience: We travelled from Liverpool and this shop didn't disappoint. The owner was so friendly and even offered us a cup of coffee as we had travelled. It was a pleasure to have a chat about the hobby without feeling pressured into buying something. It was a lovely shop with a nice range of things. They had corydorys that I had never seen before, and that's why we travel around, to find hidden gems. My daughter even got to feed one of the fish in the display tank, thank you for that, she was really happy. No doubt we will see you again when we are next in your area. Great frags at great prices! Fantastic experience: Been into fishkeeping for only around 7 weeks or so, didn't know about UK Aquatics (as i am not originally from around here). First time in the shop today (Fri 30th Aug)....wow! Amazing shop, both Ian and Jamie, really, really helpful and knowledgeable. All the tanks look immaculate. Loads of choice for Tropical fish and accessories (I only glanced and the Marine section, but that looked amazing too). They can get hold of anything for you. You can even place orders for specific fish or accessories and they will source for you. This will be my go-to from now on for anything in relation to my tanks. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Uk aquatics is always a great place to visit. Ian, the owner is always really friendly and helpful. He has a vast stock of fish, plants, coral, ornaments, pumps and filters etc. His tank displays are beautiful and it's lovely to just browse around before buying that something beautiful, wether it be fish or plant, ornament or just food.

Fantastic experience: First visit today, think I've just found my new favourite LFS. Just switching a freshwater tank over to marine and Ian was very helpful and gave some great advice. Once set up I'll definitely be visiting to stock the tank, had a good selection of corals and fish (both tropical and marine. Prices were very competitive too

Fantastic experience: Wow what an amazing little shop. I have never seen such a beautiful display of coral and reef fish. The owner was so friendly and even let me feed the famous Barry! I bought a rock and a few moss balls, cheapest price in the local area so will definitely be back for more goodies for my tank. Great local business .. would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Couldnt recommend enough. First tropical tank and brand new to this but after speaking with Ian feeling very confident! He is very knowledgable and helpful and after a million and one questions my tank is now at home filled with water and will be shortly full of fish once the water is right. Will definately be back even though this shop is over an hour away from my house, well worth the drive and the shop itself looks awesome. Loads of choice

Fantastic experience: Hi,visited today for the first time,not long moved to the area from Gloucestershire, I had a good aquatic shop there,which was great. I didn’t expect to find such a good one here,so to find an even better one ,is fantastic…..all the tanks are clean and fish look very healthy and happy.,the staff were great and very knowledgeable,which is reassuring,great selection, ( although they had sold the hoplo catfish I was looking for,),I did purchase some different ones. Definitely the best Aquatics Centre on the Fylde Coast.

The owner is so friendly and can’t do enough for you, really outstanding and it’s probably now my favourite store in the area. The other stores in the area should take note, all the tanks are immaculately clean and it’s a great selection of both freshwater and marine livestock. Good tanks available at good prices, it’s definitely worth a visit and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone into the hobby

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! Went in today and bought two Aquatic frogs, two Bristlenose Plecos and 6 Corys. The man who served us was so kind and helpful. He didn’t push us to buy expensive fish and helped us with the ones best for us. There was such a huge selection and all fish looked happy and healthy. Really friendly and only using this shop from now on!!

Positive experience: Decent tank for decent price. Filter which came in tank hasnt worked since day 1. Took filter back to exchange but wasnt able to as they got the filter working (all good but hasnt worked for me ever) so wasn't keen on keeping the filter as it wasnt fit for purpose until bringing it into store and the man gets it working, By that time id already purchased a new one so no use to me. I shall take my custom elsewhere next time.

Fantastic experience: We made our first visit to UK aquatics today, such a hidden treasure! We were so impressed with the quality and variation of fish and products available, and the staff were exceptional. One of the members of staff, Matthew, was extremely informative and knowledgeable. What a lovely guy - we could have happily spent all day discussing fish! He showed us around the shop and all of it's feature tanks, which have had a lot of time and care put into them, much like their stock. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning very soon!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic shop. Well stocked with anything you might need for the hobby, clean and nicely layed out. Awesome selection of driftwood and substrates. Their fish looked extremely healthy and well coloured and the water quality was flawless. Very friendly and helpful staff! Had a great chat about fish, and they were kind enough to help me carry some heavy items to my vehicle. Will definitely be returning, and would happily recommend them to anyone interested in fish.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been looking forward to visiting here after our day out in Blackpool and after reading all the glowing reviews. Safe to say all the previous good reviews were spot on. I have to say this was most likely the best display of beautiful specimens I have seen at great prices and I felt like a kid in a candy shop. Even the misses was impressed (and that’s a rare event in aquariums!) Great lads in here too, Taylor was really helpful and very knowledgeable, certainly knew his stuff. Safe to say I will defo be back and its more than worth a 2 hundred mile round trip for me. All corals now settled in and looking brilliant, pictures to follow. Thanks lads, see you all soon. Update, 2 months later, after my first visit I was itching to save a little money with the specific intent on coming back here. I like to save a bit and buy a fair few pieces because I live just over a hundred miles away so can’t just pop in so often. Once again, well worth my visit, grade A specimens at very reasonable prices. Suffice to say I can’t wait go back again. Thanks Ian, look forward to seeing u again soon, I’m loving how my tank is taking shape thanks to ur amazing stock. Can’t comment on anything further south because I haven’t seen any but absolutely 100% the best and most beautiful coral stock in the north of England and Scotland without a doubt. 5 stars isn’t enough.
