Negative experience: I feel really bad saying this but it's really not worth the price:( ÂŁ24 for 15 minutes of looking:(?

Fantastic experience: We try to visit at once a year on holiday, love this little Zoo. It a lovely place to take the kids, slow down and relax while learning

Fantastic experience: We visited the sea zoo this weekend and it was great. It is British native species, and has a lot of information and displays relating to our coastline. There were some really great specimens to see like Turbot, Mullet, baby Thornbacks, unique micro species and some absolutely huge bass and lobsters. Quite small, but absolutely packed with interest. We spoke to one of the staff about the baby rays and he was great, thanks for a lovely couple of hours out, even got to see a lobster eating his breakfast. Loads of parking, reasonable entry fee and great level of care for the resident fishes

Fantastic experience: Really interesting exhibits with lots of information and cafe onsite

Positive experience: 3 Star Review — Anglesey Sea Zoo It was interesting to visit and quite educational, with a nice focus on British and local sea life rather than tropical fish. It’s great to see what lives in the waters around Anglesey and the UK, and there’s real potential for this to be something special. However, the site itself feels very tired and a bit tatty, with displays and buildings in need of some attention. The staff all seemed quite young and uninterested, which took away from the overall experience, there was little enthusiasm or engagement. This place could be so much better with some investment, staff training, and a bit of care. A shame really, because the educational value and local theme are great ideas that deserve more effort.

Fantastic experience: Really good place. Educational and some great sea life there from the coast of the uk

Negative experience: Cafe is very poor, food was expensive and terrible all at the same time. Service was shocking, four toasted sandwiches and a coffee each coast 46 quid. It took over an hour from being served at the till to getting the food. Young lad came out of the kitchen after 45 mins and asked what bread we would like, I asked for the options and he replied white or brown, giving me look like I was speaking swarhili, and I’d just shot his nana. So if you want to wait for over an hour for very expensive substandard food, go to the Rock Pool cafe. Note to owner. The cafe could be amazing a real attraction in its own right. What a shame.

Positive experience: Great variety and diverse types of sea life, little bit pricey but the kids loved it.

Terry Oconnor 3 months ago

Negative experience: Very poor. Certainly overpriced and feels like it needs a lot of tlc!

Amelia Berridge 4 months ago

Positive experience: very expensive food, lots of unusual and unseen creature, lots to see, better in warm weather

Richard Hammond 6 months ago

Positive experience: Nice little aquarium, maybe a little overpriced for what it is but the kids enjoyed it. They played longer on the (free for visitors) bouncy castle than what we spent looking at the exhibits.

Michael Collins (LegionBeef) 6 months ago

Negative experience: We are a family of 5 and we felt this was quite overpriced for what it is (almost ÂŁ60). The kids were mainly looking forward to seeing the octopus but it wasn't on show. We struggled to make the walk around longer than 30 mins. My little girl seemed to enjoy the outdoor park more than the aquarium.

Negative experience: I went to this place 14 years ago, it wasn't bad then but nothing spectacular, however it had a lovely cafe with amazing cakes, fast forward 14 years thought we'd go again, wish we hadn't have bothered! its so overpriced for what is there, half the price and it might be worth it. It's so rundown, for me some of the tanks were borderline cruel. The octopus wasn't out as he was having a medical review but his tank looked so sad, small and just by himself. I was actually looking forward to a nice coffee and cake as has years ago but was a let down! it felt like a school canteen and ran by teens with pretty disrespectful attitude. The cafe was dirty, tables full of dishes left there, we were pretty much the only ones in there and no one cleaned the tables whilst we were there. The cakes were limited so I didn't bother! very disappointed. I had remembered the outdoor motorboat remote control for kids and was looking forward to my son having a go at it, however the water was thick green and he didnt like it as it looked dirty. I would never return here, but I do think its massively overpriced. The gift shop was ok and a bit expensive but did have some interesting things. I do appreciate the conservation work being done by the sea zoo so for that I gave it 1 star.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed our visit today! It's relatively small - temper your expectations if you're used to places like Bristol Aquarium. My family and I had a really good time. It's packed with loads of information and creatures (with my favourites being the moon jellyfish and the cute little skates). In particular, I had a great experience with the oyster/pearl service. The cashier was knowledgable and friendly and answered my silly questions. I lucked out with twin pearls that I will treasure! No name badge so I cannot give specific props (same goes for the lad in the cafe). To the fair-haired friendly young lady: thank you very much! My suggestions to the owners, if they read this review, would be to consider integrating animal-sponsoring into their website and to maybe light some of the information sheets a bit better in the narrow section mimicking a ship interior. Overall, it's a great day out and I would love to see it continue to thrive!

Fantastic experience: Really cool large fish tank, the whole thing was great to take baby around. Awesome jelly fish too. As an experience, on par with London Aquarium, which I also recently visited - different and smaller but more charm.

Fantastic experience: An interesting place to visit right by the coast line. Doesn't require a full day but still lots to see.

Positive experience: What is there is nice and exciting for the kids but it is a very small center so take your time to go around

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Full of fascinating sealife and facts about them! There's lots of different marine wildlife to learn about and see! Totally recommend

Negative experience: POOR VALUE FOR MONEY. Look's a decent enough attraction in the brochure but proved quite small in reality with expensive admission prices, (£11.95 for a child over 3) The sea life was interesting but the internal tour seem to end quickly. I wouldn't put any £1 coins in to any vending attractions as half of them do not work but will happily gobble up coins with nothing in return! The remote control boats (the ones that do work) give you all of 90 seconds per pound coin then abruptly switch off, the small café we felt was also expensive. We spent about £110 and came out feeling ripped off to be honest. The children's play area looks somewhat "run down" due to lack of investment and the toddler toys look about ready for the dump. Glad we went but it's not an attraction we would wholeheartedly recommend to others unfortunately.

Positive experience: Lovely place to visit on a rainy day. Lots of sea crechers. Very interesting.

Chloe Marlow 7 months ago

Positive experience: Great value for money, ticket is valid for 6 days so visited twice during our weeks holiday. Lots of animals to see inside, something to see in every tank, we particularly enjoyed the jellyfish! Plenty of outdoor space for picnics etc in good weather. Visited the cafe just for drinks which were fine and very reasonable. Happy to support local conservation group and learn about it. Shame the EV chargers aren’t working, would be great if this could be rectified, would be happy to pay to use this service.

Fantastic experience: Nice hour walking around not the biggest place but well layed out plenty for the kids with outside play area parking on site well worth a couple of hours of your time cafe available if required

Rosie Kendall 8 months ago

Positive experience: The aquarium is very cool, some nicely done pirate themed areas and lots of interesting sea creatures with information given about them The cafe was a let down unfortunately

Gwyneth Logan 8 months ago

Positive experience: The sea zoo features sea life from around the Welsh coast. The tanks are well laid out with information boards. Our 3 year old granddaughter found it very exciting and as it doesn't take too long to go round it's ideal for those with a shorter concentration span. There are enough exhibits to keep older children interested. The shark and ray pool is especially good. The sea zoo does a lot of conservation work and it was lovely to see the tiny sea horses. There is a play area and good parking. The only disappointment was the cafe. We arrived about 12.00 and decided to have lunch first. The cafe was empty and there was no one to take orders or any sign of food hot or cold. When we looked at the menu we realised that the food was very expensive e.g cheese sandwiches were ÂŁ9.00. We decided not to eat there and found somewhere else nearby and returned to the zoo later. There is a good play area and picnic sites.

Jennifer South 8 months ago

Positive experience: I have a lot of nostalgia about this Sea Life center as I used to go a lot as a child. Going definitely brought back memories, but mainly because the place doesn't look like it's changed at all in 20 years! The whole place feels like it needs a bit of a redo. Everywhere was randomly wet, such as tank edges, the tiles and this included one carpeted area near the big fish tank that looked so dirty I didn't want to sit my baby on it to look at the fish. The tanks ( although they looked okay enough for the fish) all looked a bit green and the glass looked a bit dirty. Also, as it wasn't high season, the cafe was only serving sausage rolls and cakes. It is lots of fun, especially for young kids. It also has a nice little outdoor play area. But the place needs a bit of TLC. Quite pricey considering what you see. I love this place and hope they pump a bit of money into it.

Jamie-Lee Horrocks 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: Its small but me and my husband loved it, we've been twice. It's refreshing to see what's in our ocean around us.

Negative experience: Some tanks were dirty so couldn’t see well. Went through the place in around 20mins. Not great value for money. Place is looking a bit worn out

Ian Crawforth 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great place to visit and our ticket lasted a week so we went back the next day.

Janet Taylor 8 months ago

Negative experience: Felt this was a little over priced for the time we were in there although you could return for six days with the ticket but not much to return for .cafe was closed and the place looks run down tanks looked dirty such a shame .

Hayley Smith 8 months ago

Negative experience: Not often we leave a bad review Sadly, this was over priced for what it was. 40 minute queue to get it. Nearly ÂŁ60 for 3 adults and two kids (9&11). The tanks seemed dirty, you were in and out within less than 40-50mins, it needs revamping and more fish displays. The information boards were helpful for kids perhaps never gone to this type of place. Really disappointed.

Cee Good 8 months ago

Negative experience: Expensive for a very small aquarium. We had walked around within 30/40 mins. Some of the tanks looked a bit run down and dirty so it was difficult to see anything. Was raining when we visited so couldn’t use the playground which was a shame. Wouldn’t bother going again kids were bored towards the end.

Caroline Houston 8 months ago

Negative experience: Aquarium ok expensive for what it is and an hour tops to get round. The cafe well absolutely shocking over an hour to wait for food ordered before was even busy, then forgot half the order, the staff had no idea what they were doing we ordered a panini and toasted teacake and over an hour later came to saysold out of teacake. The food was over priced but you do expect that in places like these.

Neville Brown 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Simply a great place to visit and educational for the kids! And a return visit within a week included most of the year! Free ample parking, free outdoor play area with a large bouncy castle if the weather allows. Gift shop and good cafe too. Pay to play crazy golf. We've been visiting here for many years, and it's still great! But like absolutely everywhere else, the costs of overheads and energy are forcing costs up.

Euan Mckenzie 9 months ago

Negative experience: Went here almost 15 years ago and enjoyed it. Went back with my own kids and was disappointed. It was interesting that barley anything had changed except for things looking run down, maybe I just didn't notice it as a teenager but thought the experience was not worth it. Some of my complaints would be: -Went to the shark pool for shark feeding at the designated time and had to chase staff down to find out why noone has shown up. 20 minutes after someone showed up gave a talk but never fed the sharks. - the website said there would be a bouncy castle but it's only inflated during certain times. We missed it by 3 minutes, so would have made it with plenty of time if staff had shown up for the previously mentioned talk. - multiple items in the play park were broken -All of the items in the toddler area were needing replacing. The grass was also quite overgrown around a lot of the equipment. Overall we were very disappointed and not worth the price we paid especially as its not not the biggest aquarium in the world. Would have been 1 star, but they do have some nice animals.

Cassie Dague 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Had a good time here. For buying tickets, they are a bit pricey but you do get to use them for 6 days (I was told), lots of local sea wildlife and the money goes towards helping the marine wildlife.

Gemma Owen 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: Great day out! The park area could do with updating but still good and the crazy golf was great fun too. Will definitely be back!

Deborah Emery 9 months ago

Negative experience: Dated experience, cafe very expensive...cafe staff preoccupied? Only positive- entrance staff pleasant and could borrow a wheelchair for partner

C “Cece” E 9 months ago

Fantastic experience: I loved this sea zoo, it's a great family day out. Plenty to see, friendly staff and tickets are valid for 6 days due to different talks at different times which is brilliant value for money. They also have a play area outside with a bouncy castle which they inflate a couple of times a day and a crazy golf which is free of charge so you don't even need to buy tickets to use. I was really impressed and the kids and adults throughly enjoyed this trip.

Janice Clotworthy 9 months ago

Positive experience: This is a very small aquarium. Only took about half an hour to look round. Quite expensive at ÂŁ11.50 for a senior ticket. There were quite good information boards by the exhibits to read. Thought we'd have lunch in the cafe but there was no hot food on offer. We had 2 sausage rolls, a scone, jam and cream, a tub of pringles and tea and coffee. This set us back ÂŁ23.50. Very expensive for what we had.

Positive experience: This was a good place to visit very interesting and we was there for feeding time which was good it has a lovely cafe too but it could do with being a little bigger which it does look like it is expanding a little but not opened up yet, we enjoyed it there.

Positive experience: Nice place for smaller children. Well maintained. Can get around the place in fifteen minutes depending on queues. Could get a bit cramped during busier periods through the cave like layout. Adequate play facilities for younger ones outside. Lovely shop and cafe.

Positive experience: A bit tired and needs redecorating but a good value visit. Doing good work on Seahorse preservation. Senior, studemt and bluelight discount available. And they'll take all at once.

Fantastic experience: Really sweet little adventure. A great selection of fish and marine life with friendly staff who are well knowledgeable.

Kelly-anne Archer 10 months ago

Positive experience: Easy half day activity. Tickets pricey for what there is but you can return within 6 days which is a bonus. Lower rating due to the tiredness of the outdoor area. Red slide broken, sandpit had broken bits of digger sticking out of it, rope bridge leading to the slide no longer tort as it's come apart in places.

Positive experience: The Sea Zoo is a lovely little aquarium. Particularly liked how it felt like you were on a ship/wreck. Calm place with pleasant staff and a coffee shop at the end. Liked the waves, large fish and small sharks in the mix.

Positive experience: Good for an hour or so on a rainy day. Prices are slightly high for how small the place is, but, you can go back free of charge within 6 days if you keep your ticket

Fantastic experience: Small but lovely little gem. It won't take you long to walk around it either. Perfect for little children, tickets are pricey but you can reuse them for up to six days. Staff are very approachable and they seem to live the animals they care for.

Fantastic experience: Good well planned displays. We had a brilliant Shark talk from Ellis, who was incredibly informative and answered questions throughout.

Dan Shaw 11 months ago

Positive experience: Visited on a wet and windy day whilst holidaying on the island. Great for the kids and those of us who were interested. Probably could do with a bit of updating but that's what I find for most tourist attractions, there's just little money. Cafe was closed so they missed out but hopefully sorted soon.

Alex Lloyd 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience no matter the weather. If on hol go earlier on as you can return for free for a week after paying. Very interesting and staff very polite. Shame canteen was partially closed when we went.

Clare Han 11 months ago

Negative experience: It needs a huge investment, most tanks empty or lighting so poor can’t see anything? Good for kids if you completely run out of anything else to do and they want to play hunt the living creatures in the tanks/will take a huge part of the day as they mostly empty… when I went 26 years ago was amazing not sure what’s happened ? Perhaps clean the brown stuff out of the tanks and get some fresh stock and lighting so the displays look like they used to ?

Gaynor Randlesome 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful 1st visit on a very wet and windy day, but the place was great. There were activities for children to do as they went round. It was easy to view the types of fish with interesting facts to read. We managed to watch one of the staff feed the fish and answer our questions. The cafe was only serving hot/cold drinks and snacks as there was a problem in the kitchen. As always, you end up in the gift shop, but a variety of prices of gifts. The ticket was valid for the whole week, so we returned and had another look. Outside had picnic area, crazy golf and play area. They are in the process of adding more viewing areas, so we will be going again. Well worth a visit.

Lucky Likey 1 year ago

Negative experience: The zoo part is fine, really good and informative, however, the cafe needs a kick up the proverbial! We're local to the area and as it's half term we have grandkids visiting so we thought we'd come and visit. In the cafe we ordered 5 kids sandwiches and 2 adult sandwiches, almost 30 mins passed before the food came out....one plate at a time....really! Adult ham butty looked like it had been sat on bread was hard and dry around the crust. On the menu it clearly states that kids buttys were served with crisps and a pack of raisins, these were not accompanied with the food when it was served at the table. Matter was resolved however with a refund for the offending ham butty with 2 cups of coffee and a couple of packs of biscuits by I'm assuming the owner, who claimed that the food was slow coming out due to staffing issues, however there was hardly anyone in the cafe at the time, the staff that were on duty were hardly rushed off their feet!

Fantastic experience: Wary about visiting after seeing bad reviews 2 years ago but how wrong we were. Have just spent a brilliant Sunday wiling away over 4 hours in there. Fascinating from start to finish. Loads to see, stacks of info on every exhibit. Staff very knowledgeable and very happy to chat. A great visit, especially if you take the time to spot the creatures and read the information. The sharks and rays particularly mesmerising. Brilliant value. Highly recommend.

Peter Lawrence 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Despite roadworks closing some of the A5 approach roads, my wife and I managed to find our way to meet the rest of the family at Anglesey Sea Zoo. The zoo is charming with a simple one-way system to ensure visitors see everything. Informative details on each tank, and fascinating creatures ... though you need to be patient to spot them as they are all well camouflaged. We used both the gift shop and the cafe, both of which were delightful.

Rachel Taylor-Munds 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful family day out at sea zoo. ÂŁ43 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children with the ticked able to be used again during the week, this would be fantastic in the holidays however was not of much use to us during school term time as the close at 3:45pm on a weekday. Lots to see and do kids enjoyed it

Philllip Taylor 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: The best deal on the island cost us ÂŁ47 for 3 adults and 2 children but not just for the day that was for the week. We will be going back this year, the kids loved it and they had no problem with people eat their own food indoors. We will be back in July.

Charlotte Thirtle 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to visit - second time I’ve been! It’s not a full day out by any means but the selection of marine life is amazing! Lots of interesting facts to read on the way round too.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly place, so much to walk around and do, the tickets are valid for a week after you buy them so you can go back if you want to. A really educational place that's so cool to walk around and look at all the cool creatures, and a lovely little gift shop and cafe as well

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely afternoon at anglesey sea zoo. We were inside about an hour/hour & half, so it isn't a place you'd go for a full day out. But we really enjoyed our time there. There was lots of didn't sea life to see. The Jellyfish being one of my personal favourites & the sharks swimming around underneath your feet is definitely a highlight. We enjoyed our visit.

Positive experience: Great peaceful aquarium with plenty of unique exhibits and species, including miniature sharks, some jellyfish, and a tidal demonstration that splashes you (lots of fun for the kids!). Extensive shop. Plenty of fun to be had outside, too, with bonus tanks, water cannons, a large playground and a miniature golf course on site. Entry prices are fair, too. However, there is a lack of variety in species at the moment but a whole new area is in the process of being set up so will hopefully will only get better when construction is finished. Haven't tried the cafe, mind.

Jade 1 year ago

Positive experience: Very expensive for a 10/15 minute walk for 2 adults and 2 children. There's a lovely little play park and crazy golf for extra expense. Nice little gift shop. But for the price and how long it took just wasn't worth it for us, we were done in 45mins for ÂŁ40 odd pounds.

Fantastic experience: Excellent little sea zoo with native sea life found around the coasts of the UK. Feeding times for the rays and bull huss are shown. Jordan Short 1 year ago

Negative experience: I recently visited Anglesey Sea Zoo and was extremely disappointed with their misleading claims about being a dog-friendly site. The leaflets clearly state that they encourage visitors to bring their dogs, but this is only true for the car park! Neither the play area nor the aquarium allows dogs, which was a huge letdown. They claim to have dog facilities on-site, but it’s just a shack in the corner of the car park where they expect you to leave your furry friends and pay £5. The information on their leaflets is very poorly communicated, leading to frustration and disappointment. Not at all what I expected from a supposed “dog-friendly” attraction.

Anglesey Sea Zoo
Anglesey Sea Zoo

Hello, We're very sorry to hear how you feel. The building and playground are not accessible to dogs unfortunately for licensing and health & safety reasons. It does state on the leaflet that we have "secure dog pens with fresh water", which is what the 'shack' is, and there is "Lots of roaming space on site", which there is around the building as there is a public footpath running around the site and an entire field in the back. We will add a line that "Only assistance dogs are allowed in the building and on the playground" for future leaflets. As we qualify as a Dog-friendly site under the Visit Wales regulations and as what we are currently doing as a dog-friendly site is going above what a lot of other sites do, we think it is fair to advertise ourself as a dog-friendly site.

Sophie Graham 1 year ago

Negative experience: Not a great deal there really, we walked round within 40 minutes and paid £24 for two of us. Some of the tanks seemed to be quite small and not particularly clean. The floor in the room where the rays and sharks are didn’t seem overly secure or safe to walk on, especially with being a larger person, the floor panels were moving all around while walking over. We were going to eat in the cafe but after seeing the 1 hygiene rating decided not to.

Positive experience: I took my 3yo toddler and nieces of similar ages! they absolutely enjoyed their experience at the small aquarium! it is very short but the tickets are not expensive and valid for 6days! outside there was also a small play area with soft sand, mini golf and even a small bouncy castle! we had brilliant weather for it, and ended the day with an ice cream! there is also a small cafe (expensive for what is served) worth a visit

Positive experience: Only small but still worth a visit. Many native fish etc I'd not seen before. Also nice that you are able to see behind the scenes at breeding areas

Positive experience: Visited as a couple September 2024 while on holiday in the area. Easy to find and plenty of parking. A small aquarium but packed with exhibits and useful information about the different species. Was good to see the lobster and other breeding and release programmes. We also had a snack and drink in the cafe. A good way to spend a few hours and a ticket allows you to come back within 7 days.

Fantastic experience: Our children really enjoyed walking around and getting their souvenirs. You get a free return trip within 6 days. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. Used the play area and the radio controlled mini boat. We then went back on Monday and it was really busy. This time we used the cafe. Good selection of food but I felt the sandwiches for adults at £8 were expensive. But they were decent and well presented. Would go again if the kids wanted to.

Garey Taylor 1 year ago

Positive experience: On a rainy day this place is very popular and we queued outside to get in. Reasonably priced it has some fantastic displays. I loved that it was all species that live around the UK shores. My daughter used the sheet provided to tick off the different creatures and we loved to see how well looked after the tanks were. Jelly fish and star fish were amazing. The last area is probably the best with sharks swimming literally beneath your feet and a massive wall of perspex with lots of fish and crabs behind really bringing you into their world. The usual gift shop then a large cafe with seating outside. Then a play area, more seating and even a crazy golf. There is plenty here. Sadly someone needs to give the outside a bit of attention. There is junk scattered around and it really detracts from all the other stuff. It has lots to offer. We spent about 1hr 30min here with 20mins of that queuing. On a dry pleasant day I reckon you could do 2hrs here easily with all the other bits.

Simon Bisset 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Well let's be honest, there are larger aquariums. But this one is different, with it's focus on lobsters. Additionally, there is the crazy golf course, bouncy castle, and children's play area. We ended up just chilling outside for hours, looking across the Menai Straits to Caernarfon and Snowdonia in the sun while our toddler grandchild played. Nice cafe with good food, but rather slow.

Fantastic experience: Good level of information. Good to see less usual species as well as the expected. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Positive experience: This was our second visit here but several years apart. Interesting to see the various sea creatures but doesn’t have the wow factor exactly. Good to support as they are helping to conserve wildlife. Usual range of cheap toys in the gift shop but as you would expect for this type of attraction.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and rare creatures to look at. No wait to get in. Reasonable price. Playground and crazy golf on the same plot. Would recommend.

Positive experience: Lovely place to visit. Plenty of great animals to see. Very cool butterfly house, great British sea life and some rather large snakes ! Crazy golf and cafe topped it off nicely.

Fantastic experience: Great place not massive but plenty to that kept our 4 year old entertained, it was raining when we visited so didn't use any of the outside stuff

Fantastic experience: We spent less than an hour inside but we learned a lot in that hour about British sea life and appreciate the work that is done here. Don't go expecting an aquarium filled with brightly coloured fish, but it's still easy to be filled with wonder about the oceans that surround us. Outside we spent another hour playing mini golf and in the playground. We didn't buy food but the cafe looked well priced, small gift shop and plentiful clean toilets. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Positive experience: This was a lovely place, especially loved being able to see the babies in the 'mermaids purses. There was also a small play area outside and some crazy golf. The aquarium didn't take much time to get around so it would have been nice if the crazy golf was included in the price as that was small (and pricey) too. They have a rock pool set up which was a nice touch, but it wasn't staffed, and sadly during our visit we witnessed a child being rough with the starfish and delicate anemones and the parents didn't intervene. All in all the kids enjoyed it but didn't feel value for money, unfortunately. Although I will add that once you buy a ticket you can visit as much as you like for 7 days, but that was no good for us as we were going home the next day!

Positive experience: We planned to have lunch at the on site cafe we were disappointed that they were not serving hot food on this day! However, we managed to get a lukewarm sausage roll as we were hungry which cost ÂŁ3 each. There was a good variety of sealife here but it wasnt a huge place so it wouldnt take long for you to see everything. I will say I noticed the place looked very dusty, and the glass was covered in fingerprints and marks from whatever else that had pushed up against the glass. Many, if not all, of the tanks were full of algae and cloudy water. Most of the staff here were young and inexperienced which, I believe, was the reason for the lack of friendly and welcoming customer service I am accustomed to receiving. Theres no need to book tickets in advance, and the entrance fee includes a receipt which you can use to visit again within 6 days. There is a free car park here and also mini golf outside which we did not use. My experience here could have been better. It was ok for a short day out, but I wouldnt want to to return, even with the offer of free entry.

Fantastic experience: Fab selection of British sealife, lots of info available in English and Welsh. Tanks are clean and look well maintained. Definitely recommend doing this towards the start of the trip. Your ticket gives you 7 days free entry, so make the most of return visits. It's not a full day activity, but if you utilise the return trips, you'll get value for money. There's crazy golf and a small playground. There is plenty of space for picnics, too.

Positive experience: It is a very well organised Sea Zoo. The aquarium has a large varietyof fish and aquatic life. You can actually touch certain animals. They have simulated the effect of the sea by creating waves in the enclosures. There is a lot of signage and lots of things to do. There is a store and a cafe, as well as toilets. There is plenty of free parking and There is a nominal fees. It is free for children. It is a must visit when in Anglesey, Northern Wales.

Fantastic experience: We really loved our visit here yesterday. There was lots for my little boy to enjoy, his favourite part was the bouncy castle, pirate park and crazy golf outside and not the actual animals all of the staff that we spoke to were friendly and we would 100% come again

Positive experience: A really nice way to spend an hour, price is okay as the zoo is a little on the small side. Interesting, well kept and worth a visit.

Positive experience: Fully wheelchair accessible - but didn't see an accessible loo. Feels a bit tired but worth it for the mesmerising tanks of tiny jellyfish! Also seahorses, starfish, lobsters, sea anemone and various fish including very small sharks. Bog standard/nothing fancy cafe - a generous pot of tea though!
