Positive experience: Carers go free ! Buy tickets in advance it gets booked up quickly ! We love sealife and its great that Manchester has one but this one at the Trafford centre is not all that big and only really takes 30 minutes from start to finish. There is however a small play area half way so you can extend the lenght of visit by throwing the kids into the play den for a few minutes. Overall good experience just a little small. Worth the trip if you are local to Manchester.

Fantastic experience: I visited SEA LIFE at the Trafford Centre with my teenager, who’s really into tropical fish and ocean life, and we had such a lovely time. It's not a huge aquarium, but there’s plenty to see, and the layout makes it really easy to take your time and enjoy each section. We especially loved the Shark Dive VR experience—it was such a fun addition, and my teen absolutely loved it. It really brought the underwater world to life in an immersive way, and it’s worth doing if you fancy something extra. The tanks are full of colourful, fascinating sea creatures, and the ocean tunnel was definitely a highlight. Walking through and seeing the rays and turtles swimming above us never gets old. Before we left, we treated ourselves to a couple of bits from the gift shop—a little magnet and a hammerhead shark teddy that my teen couldn’t resist. The gift shop is on the pricier side, but it’s hard not to pick up a small souvenir to remember the day. Overall, SEA LIFE was a great way to spend a couple of hours together. It’s perfect for a chilled-out outing, especially if your child (or you!) is fascinated by sea life. And being inside the Trafford Centre means it’s easy to grab food or do a bit of shopping after too.

Positive experience: Lovely but seems to have got smaller and have less tanks to look at. Really missed the big spider crab but my 10 month old love it.

Negative experience: Could be good, could be bad - wouldn't know because we were denied entry due to full capacity at 11am Monday morning. They should make people aware this may happen. Waste of time.

Positive experience: We had a good time here. However it was expensive for how long we spent in there, we found it quite short as well

Negative experience: I wouldn't waste money by going here, unless you want to trot about for 5 mins looking at small over populated tanks. Waste of money, fish squashed into small tanks in the wall. Over 10-12 turtles in a ridiculously small tank. Will be reporting. I don't know how this is even allowed, that too in a shopping centre. Shallow water with squashed sharks and too many fish. Don't waste your money supporting such things that have no consideration for animals. Visit the deep instead, have been and is MUCH BETTER

Fantastic experience: I took my girlfriend there as she loves fish and she absolutely loved it. You can tell it’s mainly for parents and their small children but we still had a nice time

Negative experience: Do not waste your money, absolute rip off and only takes about half an hour to get round the whole thing, really poor value. Would love to know how they justify these prices!

Fantastic experience: Cute aquarium, not overly crowded, the fishes had space and of course the tunnel was great! Definitely get your tickets around a week in advance or more. They had an area where you could touch a starfish or have a shrim clean your finger!

Positive experience: First time coming here. It was an okay experience, the cost of tickets being 20+ is a bit high for this. It took me around 25-30min to get around and see all the sea life which is not really a long time for the price you pay.

Negative experience: Was very boring to be so expensive. I hadn't been there in 5 years and it is still the same... boring. Absolutely nothing new added to the aquarium.

Fantastic experience: As with all Sea Life centres, pleasant to work around while you're in the area. Not very big compared to others across the country, we used our Merlin Pass so there wasn't a cost for us to attend however, looking at the entry fee I would probably have been a little annoyed for being charged so much for the size of it. As with these places too, unruly children are let loose to cause havoc with parents doing little to nothing about it. Surely kids banging on the glass repeatedly while screaming is enough for parents to take action? Nope, nothing. I don't blame the establishment, I would hope that this is policed better but also can imagine the aggravation if some of these parents are confronted about the behaviour of their offspring.

Positive experience: I was pleasantly surprised by this city centre attraction. My wife was comparing against our local one at Scarborough, so was a bit disappointed. But I thought for what they have achieved here was quite good and the kids enjoyed it.

Positive experience: Very nice to take our 5 month here and let them see the fish. Very immersive experience for them. We paid £52 for two adults and an infant. A bit steep for what is on offer however. I’d say £30 max, not £52.

Negative experience: £56 for 20mins in and out it would of been a better day out at pets at home. Absolutely shocking daylight robbery I’d recommend going to blue planet aquarium instead. Unless you get it free or really cheap with some form of discount please don’t waste your money!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. Drove an hour and a half to sea life centre on Thursday, charged £41 for 2 adults and a baby, good job the Trafford centre is here as it would have been a total waste of a day. If you do decide to go, book online as it’s £16 per person, which is ridiculous having to pay an extra £4.50 in person. Being midweek and a school day, it wasn’t busy and was told it would take around 1.5/2 hours to get around, but it only took around 30/40 minutes, some of the aquarium’s had little to no fish in and others out for maintenance. I’d highly recommend taking your kids to The Deep for a real experience or pets at home as it’d be cheaper and more entertaining.

Fantastic experience: Lovely aquarium with great sea life to view. Usually takes about an hour and a half to get round, if you also use the soft play in the middle. Would recommend the guided tour (we had one as part of a birthday party.) the tour guide had extra information that was really interesting and helped engage the kids as we went round.

Positive experience: It’s a fun experience but I dont think its worth the price especially for 2 adults, plus I worry a little bit as to the welfare of the Sea Turtle there in what appears to be a small tank for it.

Fantastic experience: Went for my son's 3rd birthday and he loved it!!

Positive experience: We visited Sealife with our 18-month-old and used KidsPass for a great discount. We spent around 3 hours here—our little one was absolutely fascinated by the fish! There’s also a kids' play area where we spent about an hour, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was definitely worth the money we paid. The gift shop was quite expensive, though. On the plus side, the changing facilities were clean. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Best part is the turtle talk at the beginning. Don’t think it’s worth the money. Paid about £98 for 2 adults and 2 kids took about 25 mins to get round.

Fantastic experience: This was a great place to visit with my children. I pre-booked which was good as, when we got there, tickets had sold out for the day. We had to wait approximately 5 minutes before entering but it was no issue. Overall there was plenty to see and do, it was a great experience. We ended up doing the VR tour which is an added extra payment but well worth the money. I would definitely visit again in the future, not only because of the attraction itself but the friendly helpful staff also.

Fantastic experience: Had such a good trip out. Our granddaughter had an accident and needed a bit of first aid. A lady called Chloe came to the rescue with the eye wash. She was amazing with our granddaughter and talked her through what to expect. As at the age of 5 no child likes water in their eyes. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Unlike the Chester Zoo, you will see ALL the sea creatures. Amazing gift shop, informative hosts. As an American, I didn’t even want to touch the starfish at the hands on exhibit out of respect. Gorgeous photos & Videos. Aside from the Scissor Sisters concert, this was one of my fondest memories of the UK because there certainly is a lot to be desired with the smell of poop and cigarettes everywhere.

Positive experience: It was lovely aquarium situated in amazing shopping centre. We loved our visit but it was a little bit small compared to another aquarium we've visited and was more expensive too, hence a star off.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Animal Crossing Sealife tour, and it was so fun, even as an adult the staff were so fun and understanding with all us grown adults loving the tour releasing our inner child with the stamps. The dedication of the staff is amazing and so admirable!

Positive experience: A little disapointing for the price paid. We were there no longer than 20 minutes, it's a great experience and a good layout with lots of different types of sea creatures however, not much to do for a couple. Kids walking round also seemed bored.

Positive experience: Very small. Won tickets through Cadbury so didn't have to pay but if I did I'd have been disappointed. Some lovely creatures but only took about 20 mins and that's with a toddler. They have a small play area for kids towards the end too which is nice but definitely for big kids as it's very narrow and high up.

Positive experience: Actually its rather small, but small is actually a good point: some of the aquariums, especially those with the turtles were quite small. I think this could be done better. Normally I won't visit aquariums due to concerns. I got that entrance included within my annual pass.

Fantastic experience: Great little aquarium for the kids! Visited SEA LIFE Manchester with the family and had a lovely time. The ocean tunnel was a real highlight—seeing sharks and the giant turtle swim overhead was amazing. The kids loved the jellyfish area and the little soft play halfway through was a nice bonus. It’s not massive, but perfect for a 1–2 hour visit. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Worth booking online for a discount, and it’s right next to LEGOLAND, so great if you’re making a day of it.

Fantastic experience: It was better than I expected. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. The range of sea life was amazing and my baby boy was fascinated by all those sights. Never expected a little play area near the end, so that was a nice little surprise for my little one to play in the ball pit.

Positive experience: Had a pleasant time here. Wish the jelly fish tank was cleaned more (looks cleaner in my pictures cause i edited them). The axolot were hiding away from sight. The tunnel was pretty cool. They also had a petting starfish area which was nice. Won't lie when i was a bit sad when we finished but was a nice place. Don't recommend buying the book was a bit disappointed by the content. Would be nice if they had a brochure for kids to find certain creatures and learn about facts, or stamp stations along the journey.

Fantastic experience: Met a friend at Sealife during half term holidays because our children vary greatly in age and this was perfect for all ages to enjoy. There's a photo opp at the start. Staff were friendly, helpful and jolly. We loved the little tunnels and bubbles where the children could climb inside and pretend they were in the tanks. There's a section where you are able to touch the starfish and shrimp under supervision. Also includes a FREE mini soft play area - great for little ones and the adults can sit around the outside on benches and grab a drink and ice cream from the vending machines. They take card. Ended with a wonderful shop full of fantastic products. We took a picnic and ate it after we left, in the trafford centre building near the dolphin fountain. We spent around 2 1/2 hours in there in total.

Fantastic experience: A lovely place for kids under 12. We spent around 1 5 hours. Not very big but enough to keep them entertained. The staff were fantastic, place was clean.

Positive experience: Great experience for my 2-years-old son. He loved the jelly fish tank and shark tunnel. Place was clean and staff was helpful. But it was smaller than we expected and little bit expensive.

Positive experience: I decided to visit because of the animal crossing event. The aquarium itself is okay, it feels a little run down in places but the displays were interesting. The animal crossing aspect was a stamp trail, a few decorations, a meet and greet and a few custom signs. It was sweet and you didn't pay extra for it but if I had paid more specifically for it it wouldn't have been worth it. I probably wouldn't come back just for the aquarium but it's nice if you're local and have children.

Fantastic experience: Lots of swell fish to see. Very interactive. Loved the variety of ways you could see and learn about them.

Negative experience: Visited Sealife for 1st time yesterday. Was really looking forward to seeing the attraction. I was very disappointed with what was there to be honest. Paid £60 for 2 adults and we were in and out in half an hour. Very disappointed for what it cost.... ☹️

Positive experience: I mean it's sealife, what else can I say. Nice fish and very informative. Ticket prices are a bit off a turn of though for regular visits. Went during the animal crossing event and met Tom Nook it was really cool

Positive experience: It's good for young children. My Granddaughter enjoyed it. Pity it doesn't have push chair parking area but a kind staff member allowed me to stash our push chair after the first bit.

Negative experience: All in all a good day out when combined with some shopping, but when paying £75 for 3 people to walk around the attraction I would not expect a staff member to speak to me in a rude manner. No apology either. The situation; I was asked to move to one side to allow a costumed character to pass, which I did immediately, and the employee said out loud, “ignore me then” but I hadn’t, I told her she was rude there and then. That one interaction put a dampener on the day as it was uncalled for completely. All other staff were fantastic, but that one person needs some retraining on the guest experience.

Negative experience: Honestly, kind of run down and not especially exciting to visit - some interesting critters, but the layout is super cramped so it seems like it encourages you to get through and out as fast as possible - lots of the viewing stuff is through magnified windows that don't necessarily give you a good perspective of the fishes' true sizes - went for the Animal Crossing crossover event as they were only at certain aquariums, but wouldn't go back again for the price

Negative experience: WAY overpriced - £25 per person for a 10-15min walk round with very limited exhibits. Then they have the cheek to charge £30 for a photo…… Aquarium at Chester Zoo is bigger and you get a whole zoo to look at for the same/similar price. Other customers could be heard saying “is that it?” as they approached the gift shop. Great temporary distraction for the new born but not impressed. Staff were kind and friendly but we won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Visit here for a spark of the varied creatures of the ocean. Spent around an hour exploring the colourful marine life.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful experience for people of all ages. Children will particularly find it interesting. Lots of tanks, full of fish, with some stunning lighting effects. Should take you a good couple of hours to watch the presentation on turtles, and walk around, taking in all the beautiful fish on display.

Positive experience: Visited for the Animal crossing experience before it finishes on 9th March 2025. I visited on a weekday which was busy as there was a school trip. There was plenty of AC props including Gulliver sleeping, interesting information boards by Blathers, stamping stations with AC villagers faces on them and standees. Tom Nook and Isabelle were here for photo opportunities every 30 minutes by the terrapin tank. I would be disappointed to visit if there was no events on, tickets cost us short of £20 each. I feel it was worth the value but would be reluctant to return. Both of the souvenir machines were broken which was disappointing. The gift shop at the end stocked Animal Crossing Lego, mugs, badges and of course plushies.

Positive experience: Really good experience, ideal for younger children and toddlers. The tunnel was smaller and shorter than expected however was entertaining and could see sharks, turtles sting rays and fishes. Definitely pre book tickets as much cheaper. Highly recommend the VR shark dive as it was action packed and awesome to experience using VR for the first time. Excellent afternoon out for the family.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Me and my brother went for the animal crossing x sea life experience and he loved it. He has ASD and is obsessed with exhibits and meuseums so this aquarium was brilliant for him. He really enjoyed the stamp hunting too, as did I. Staff were absolutely wonderful and super helpful when supporting my brother and myself. 100% recomend going! Really beautiful sea creatures there :> I love the moon jellyfish

Fantastic experience: I don't think I've ever enjoyed sea life in Manchester as much as this one! I went to see the collaboration between sea life and animal crossing, and Sea life never fails to amaze me even though it is the second time I've come in. The staff was so friendly and bubbly, definitely recommended

Negative experience: I wasn’t going to put a review up but I had a very rude encounter yesterday with a worker whom didn’t even help solve the issue Me and a friend had met mid way to go to the aquarium where the AC New Horizons event was happening (No detailing of tickets pre booking needed also) nothing on socials of needing to get tickets booked also as I had checked we entered I asked the worker if we could get tickets as they were sold out my friend could get one and I could not but I had explained I came from afar and the worker gave me a very unhelpful excuse as to not wanting to help. Where I said it didn’t say anything online about needing to book ahead maybe it should be better on the socials with detailing what you must do before you get their as I travelled far so did my friend as well. As this is what we had planned for the day and one came from Birmingham and the other from North Wales it kind of felt like a wasted journey

Positive experience: I feel one adult ticket and one child ticket for £47 is very very high given the limited there is to do here. I only booked on cause I got a discounted ticket from the blue light card along with a lego ticket. My daughter really enjoyed it, especially the new animal crossing activity. It is very impressive and enjoyable, just needs to be a bit cheaper.

Fantastic experience: I came here recently and had a great time, the exhibits are lovely and interesting with interactive bits and fun facts everywhere. It was a tad packed when I went, but there is an event on so that wasn't a surprise. Lots of photo ops and fun bits as you go around to keep it interesting too! I'd definitely book ahead to guarantee your place as it can get very busy!

Fantastic experience: me and my partner went for the animal crossing event and it was literally the best thing ever just wish i got to meet the scam artists tom nook that i still owe 750,000 bells to (he ain't getting them especially after setting me back 50 bells for tommy and timmy) . However massive shoutout to kyle give this man a raise asap he is blathers but in real life! bro had the best facts ever and taught us how to tame the shrimp 10/10 manicure phenomenal experience, kyle your acc a top g and your facts enlightened us. Unfortunately i have used my nook miles ticket and must return back to my island now. :D

Fantastic experience: Went for the Animal Crossing x Sealife Exhibition, and it was a good bit of fun, especially as it’s free of charge with a normal ticket. Do book your tickets online in advance as it’s much cheaper on the day, and it guarantees your place on the day. Tom Nook meet & greet/photo op was great fun.

Positive experience: Great educational and fun place with a nice amount of species of creatures to learn about and view. People attending need to take into account this is a smaller centre but with the way it’s set out as you meander through it’s different areas it does feel bigger than it is. The tunnel and mini tunnels with domes are a highlight and seemed to be a big hit with kids. I have seen a few reviews complaining about price whilst it is a little expensive I personally found it reasonable for this type of attraction.

Negative experience: Went for the animal crossing experience and was so disappointed. There was nothing that made it animal crossing themed apart from a piece of paper you can stamp with stamps for the villagers. I didn’t get to meet any of the mascots because no one told us when they were coming out and when we were there they weren’t, if we’d been told we would have waited. The gift shop had 2 shelves of animal crossing merch, nowhere near as much as we thought there would be. Honestly save your money.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved exploring the underwater world at Sea Life Manchester. It’s so mesmerising, with nothing to take away from the experience. I’d definitely recommend it, whether you’re going with kids or just for yourself. Sea Life Manchester has loads to see – sharks, turtles, a giant eel, and so much more. It’s super fun for kids with all the interactive bits, and there’s plenty for adults to learn too☺️

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed the sealife and especially the snorkeling with the sharks that gave us the opportunity to see the sharks, rays and turtles very close. The only thing that was missing is the rainforest section and the penguin which are present in the London one.

Positive experience: Pleasantly surprised. It's a decent hour/hour and half. Lots to see. The little one enjoyed it which is the main thing. There's a little talk at the start about turtles which was good. Would have been nice to have more like that through or maybe some information or feeding times to watch that

Positive experience: The kids loved it, abit pricey but when its aimed at children and families everything is more expensive even the gifts start at like £15 for a keyring, like come on, I understand about inflation but at these prices. The place was okay, easy to get to and plenty of parking

Fantastic experience: My son and grandchildren had a day to have some fun so off we went to sea life at the Trafford centre Manchester It was an amazing day, when we arrived we were advised that if we booked on line it would work out cheaper which was a huge savings in the end so thank you for the advice to the amazing staff From start to finish the staff made our adventure very pleasurable, the children were entertained as were myself and son! To top this experience there was an indoor play area which the children could release more of their excitement and energy after we had nearly finished the grand finale was where everyone could touch the star fish ! We took home some unforgettable memories home that will last forever

Negative experience: One star because of deceitful tactic and pricing. It was advertised on google as 15.95 entry, but when we got there we got charged a whooping 26£ per person! The only way to get that 16£ advertised price is if you book weeks in advance during a week day, because that's when kids are free right? The aquarium is quite small, very limited selection of exhibits, I can honestly say it's not worth 26£ per person. Compared to other aquariums in UK, this is definitely not one we would be coming back to...

Fantastic experience: Really cool place, lovely staff and just really really cool, got to touch a starfish and everything.

Positive experience: It is a small aquarium with no particularly beautiful marine life and only a few types of marine life. But it's quite suitable to bring children, because there is a small children's playground halfway. Just treat it as a small experience.

Negative experience: As I first entered the aquarium I thought maybe they’d had a power cut because the lights were extremely dim, I almost tripped over multiple times through the many narrow corridors which ended up feeling like a maze. Would recommend bringing a torch on arrival. Also likely dangerous for the elderly and visually impaired. Saw at least 3 exhibits almost instantaneously that have been boarded up for god knows how long. Jellyfish enclosure was absolutely dismal. 5 jellyfish that have probably been floating round in a circle for a decade. Could barely even see through the glass as it was that scratched and dusty. While traversing the aquarium I kept hearing many strange noises almost like someone laughing at me every few minutes, and even something that sounded like a wolf howling in the background, which put me on edge. I would prefer a bit of peace and tranquility in a sea life environment and not the constant sound of ghouls in my ear. After about 30 minutes of pondering and £20 down the drain I stumbled upon the gift shop and ran to the exit as fast as possible, never to return. 2 stars for the only worthwhile experience, which was stroking a starfish’s back. With an eye watering entry fee like that, don’t bother coming, unless you’re a 2 year old who’s never seen a fish before…

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my visit here. I went to this Sea Life as a date with my girlfriend earlier this month. Honestly no regrets at all - in fact I want to come back! Service was great, all the fish on display remarkable. You feel like you get to see a piece of nature you rarely normally have a chance to.

Positive experience: I'd say that it was quite small. Blacpool Sea Life is bigger. I still enjoyed it though

Positive experience: Took the kids to see the mermaids in the evening. A good aquarium with lots to see and the soft play area is a good break halfway through. Staff were helpful and friendly. Kids enjoyed it.

Positive experience: Lovely for my toddler but glad I didn't bring the older kids, don't think it would be worth it for them.. Its smaller than I thought.. I was going through it pretty fast.. Thinking there's alot of ground to cover but I ended up in the gift shop pretty fast. Wish I could have gone through again.. Or seen a map or something on the walls so I know it was almost ending.. So take your time in the sections. I found the online £15, adult and toddler ticket, a good price. Pictures were around £15 and cute. The play zone inside was fun and had seating for the adults. Gift shop had things from as little as £1.50 so can treat anyone on any budget. Overall had a great time.

Fantastic experience: Lovely little sealife centre. You can walk round it in an hour or two. Puzzle sheets for the kids. Lots of different zones. Small soft play inside too. Little tanks. Big walk through shark and turtle tank. Seahorses, terrapins. Some snakes. No food inside there though. It's only a small sealife meant for the little ones so bare that in mind.

Positive experience: It was ok. The kids seem to enjoy it. However what I was confused at is a staff member told everyone at the beginning have a free photo taken…took photo…...here’s your ticket. Got to the desk and chose what I wanted, and the women tried to charge me £13! I challenged this with her and she screwed up my ticket gave me a sarcastic smile and threw it in the bin! Not impressed by this miss-advertisement or the attitude of the staff member. Good selection of animals, great tanks setup, lovely pool to tickle starfishes and have the shrimp groom your hand. Actually high light of the whole experience. Tickets were expensive however even with a discount. Will travel to the blue planet at Cheshire oaks in future.

Fantastic experience: Great place to go if you have children. Not too bad for adults. An entertaining place to visit. Easy parking and easy access to the venue. Well worth a visit Located within the Trafford Centre location. Go see for yourselves.

Fantastic experience: Really good experience, we had no queue as we went early on so it was quite quiet. Parents with Sen children/young people beware that once you've gone through the ticket area you are then seated for photos that you can purchase at the end. My asd daughter didn't like the demand of this and increased her anxiety...I think there should be a fore warning and an option if you want to take part. We felt that we had to take part of this and there was no choice to opt out...it made us feel quite uncomfortable. Staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating, etc turning the lights on in a dark room to help with my daughters sensory needs. Another heads up for parents with Sen children, my daughter is overly obsessed with soft play and half way through there is a small but quite good soft play area...this is where we spent most of our time it was a big struggle for my daughter to accept the transition from fish to soft play and then back to fish again. We had big meltdowns leaving the soft play so just a heads up to prepare for this. Overall it was a lovely time out for us, and we went in the morning time which was quite quiet and meant that each section we went through nobody else was there which made it easier for my asd daughter to cope with. 5 ***** for this place

Fantastic experience: Lovely well maintained aquarium. Lots of things to see and interact with. Can feel a little cramped in some areas when it's busy. All exhibits and animals look well cared for and there are lots of information points where you can learn about what you are seeing. Take your time walking through, it will take about an hour to get through if you don't rush it.

Positive experience: Great for kids, but way too expensive for what it’s worth. We had a family day out with my niece and nephew at Sealife yesterday. The little ones were in complete awe of the exhibit/colours and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was fun teaching them about the different types of fish… The price for two adults, though, is quite extortionate, being around £40 - wow. You get to see some beautiful sea creatures up close including puffer fish, small sharks, turtles, stingrays, starfish, clownfish, and apparently octopus (but I didn’t see any), with a gift shop at the end that holds quite expensive toys for the little ones. If you don’t have kids, and you’re wanting more of a couples date vibe, or even if you do have kids, it would better to visit a different aquarium (perhaps in London) where it would be much bigger and worthwhile.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved this aquarium. There are a few pinch points if you're disabled but it is accessible.

Fantastic experience: Went to Sealife with our 5 year old son and he absolutely loved it, especially the Japanese Spider Crabs and the pufferfish. We paid extra for the VR experience and it was definitely worth it, the whale one was fab. There’s lots to see and even a play area for kids towards the end. He loved being able to touch a starfish too! Definitely worth a visit and it’s much quieter first thing as they open so it’s worth booking in for the earlier sessions if you’re not a fan of crowds and want to see the fish up close!

Fantastic experience: Great place to visit, wuth or without kids. There are lots of things to see and interesting information to read. The VR was great, I chose the shark one, and you get real close... just remember to breathe;) Overall, a great afternoon was had.

Fantastic experience: Great time at the Manchester sea life centre. Including half way around is a kids play area which was a pleasant surprise for the little one

Fantastic experience: Took my 7 month old baby for a day out. It was such a wonderful experience! Unique fish and sealife. We really enjoyed it! Love the jelly fish lights. We will go back soon.

Positive experience: Overpriced 20 minutes walk. But I presume the sea turtles, sharks and the other fish and tanks and not cheap to maintain. Did not take the picture they asked us to take. Playground for the little ones next to the toilets and VR setting. The store at the end ridiculously prices from 4£ for a tiny stuff toy to 35 £ the biggest. At least they have all the marine animals& fish you could think of. Nice but still a rip off!

Fantastic experience: We visited recently with our young daughter (4m) and she loved the different exhibits/colours, whilst watching the fish swim by. It isn't the biggest, but there's plenty on offer. We had a fun day out and it was well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: Sealife is an absolutely enchanting destination! The exhibits are beautifully curated, offering a stunning glimpse into the underwater world. The highlight of our visit was seeing the majestic sea turtles and the impressive blacktip sharks up close. Every part of the aquarium is filled with wonders. The interactive touch pools and immersive tunnels provide a unique and engaging experience for both kids and adults. The entire visit was both educational and thrilling, making Sealife a must-visit attraction for anyone looking to explore the beauty and mystery of ocean life. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: A really great day out that is suitable and interesting for all ages, there are some amazing view points for lots of different fish. There are also photo opportunities and the chance to even touch some of the smaller sea life. I would highly recommend for families

Positive experience: I visited SeaLife Manchester after almost 10 years on the 02/04/2024. It appears the general set up of the place hasn't changed but I saw plenty of different species of fish. I spent almost 5 hours at the aquarium photographing the various inhabitants however, the curvature and lighting of certain tanks made photography difficult at times. The main ocean tank was fantastic with the tunnel and the sheer size of the tank which led to me seeing different species that I hadn't prior whilst looking through the various view points of this tank. The signage of tank inhabitants was decent with at least a couple of the species signed but not all. A particular member of staff was helpful with the identification of some of the fish so thanks to them. Overall, for the time I spent at SeaLife Manchester I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and has prompted me to plan visits to their other sites up and down the country.

Fantastic experience: Smaller than some of the others I’ve been in but absolutely wonderful! Loads of different exhibits and designs for enclosures, the big shark and turtle tunnel was incredible and the jellyfish tank had buttons to change the colour of the light in side!!
