Fantastic experience: We had a fun time at Sharjah Aquarium! I went with my two girl friends last June 7, since it was a holiday and the only free time we had to hang out. The place was really nice and peaceful. It was refreshing to see all the marine life – the fish, the sea creatures, and the tunnel where you can see them swimming around you. We enjoyed walking around and just taking our time. It was a fun and relaxing experience. If you’re looking for something chill to do in Sharjah, I recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I visited Sharjah aquarium on a weekend and it was not crowded, with decent amout of people. The entrance is 25 AED + 5 AED tax. First you'll be greeted with photographer who will capture 3D pictures with various backdrops which can be purchased later (optional). Then the journey will begin. It's takes like 1.5 to 2hrs if you're reading the etymology/anatomy. This is such an interesting place for the kids as well, there were sharks, stingray, and starfish (you can touch it) which I found very interesting. There's also a screen where you can play games related to the anatomy of fish and sharks. To top it of, a cafe is located near the exit where you can grab a quick snack or drink. Overall I would rate this place a 5/5 for it's atmosphere, customer service, and ambience. Must visit if you're in Sharjah.

Positive experience: My kids loved the Aquarium so much. We paid 90 dirhams for 2 adults and 2 kids under 7. Which was a pretty good price. There are several types of sea creatures here in various parts of the aquarium. My favourite was the part where you are allowed to pet some of the small fishes like star fishes etc. The place also has a Caffè at the very top that serves snacks and drinks. There's also a gift shop where you can buy some souvenirs.

One interesting feature is their photography service, where they take pictures with visitors’ permission and create decorative 3D models, such as a ship with your photo inside, along with other unique designs. Though I’m not familiar with the exact names of these models, they add a creative touch to the experience. The entry fee is 25 AED per person, which is reasonable for a small yet well-maintained aquarium. It houses a variety of fish and marine creatures, making it a nice place to explore and enjoy some quality time. I was able to explore everything within an hour, so it's not a very large place, but it's still a good experience.

Fantastic experience: We visited on second of December on UAE national day. Entry was free. It has plenty of fishes along many attractions like kids games, fish key descriptions and guides. There is a restaurant along it for dining. Aquarium also have fish toys and refreshments inside. Free Visitors parking is available. If you want to go on UAE national day then better visit in morning as long que after 12 pm.

It costs AED 25. It can be easily reached from Dubai by ferry from Al Ghubaiba Marine Station, the disembarkation point is right next to the aquarium. There is also a cafe.

We enjoyed Sharjah Aquarium and Sharjah Maritime musuem (adjacent and no separate ticket required) and kids were also thrilled with the experience. Though comparatively small, it is well mainatined. We can also interact with starfish. Maritime musuem is well maintained and good us a good understanding of maritime history.

Negative experience: I went to Sharjah aquarium yesterday the visit was very good however 1 lady staff in toys section once you complete the aquarium there is toys shop.. there she was..I must say 0 customer service.. my son wanted shark coin and machine was not taking the money . I went to the shop and ask that lady in abaya i want coin she was sooooo rude to me and even my 3 years old son was smiling at her instead she didnt help at all. I would request please dont keep staff who is not willling to help the customers..

Positive experience: It was worth the price, a good experience, and a nice place to visit with kids and family, However, you can finish your visit in 30-45 minutes, not something huge, The good thing also is that you can visit both the aquarium and the museum with the same ticket There are some shops for souvenirs and a cafeteria. Not so many parking spots, and the dedicated parking for visitors is at the back and not indicated properly. You have to park there and walk back to enter the aquarium. I recommend it for a quick 1-2 hours of family quality time.

Positive experience: They have now closed the entrance and part of the parking (which was not clear - A4 piece of paper on the roundabout that parking was now at the back). The aquarium itself is lovely, lots of different species of fish. It is however dated and could probably do with some renovations but it was well worth the 25 AED or so of the entrance fee. There were however no staff around the aquarium so we couldn’t ask questions or find out more information(only at the entrance and near the theatre). There were no times at the theatre. It was super busy as there were summer camp visits.

Bonus, if you buy a ticket for the Aquarium, you also get a complimentary pass for the Maritime Museum as well! Positive experience: The Sharjah Aquarium features 20 tanks that recreate different local aquatic environments, from coral reefs and rock pools to lagoons and mangroves. An indoor walkway for tourists allows up-close viewing of the marine animals in these habitats. However my opinion will be very honest, my experience wasn’t good what I was expecting, The Crowd was poorly managed during Eid Holidays, 1: only person was on the desk for issuance of tickets while 100 were waiting in straight sun with kids , it can be witnessed with cctv. 2: No fans were installed outside for families who were in waiting, 3: No lift i found for those who had kids and wheelchairs, 4: tour guide should have been to explain about the creatures. Fantastic experience: I have visited it 3 times because my son loves this place. The exhibits are same as last year. The maintenance is good as well. You get to see the boat museum as well in the same ticket(25 aed for adults and 15 for Kids). There is a small park for toddlers outside as well.. Overall experience is good and VFM entertainment.

Positive experience: A must visit place with small kids they will really love it Personally I loved the place♥️ They could have kept the small fishes (seahorse tank)area lighted,people passing from there couldn’t understand whether it had sea life in it Children’s will really love to visit this place There isn’t many varieties but it’s peaceful and big Also there’s a gift shop and they take a picture of you at the entrance if you want they will develop Ian’s frame it for you ,for which you will be charged. The museum is also so big and is full of boats and fishing materials Knowledgeable of how back then everything worked in the UAE especially in the fishing and trade area. They have vending machines also a small coffee are over there for everyone to chill n relax Should wait for few minutes so that u can see bigger fishes too They swim far n come back n forth. Small fishes are the cutest here

Despite minor areas for improvement, it offers a rich and engaging experience that highlights the importance of marine conservation. Tickets are priced at 25 for adults and 15 for kids. However they charge you less when you go in larger groups. It hardly takes an hour to cover this place.

Fantastic experience: It takes around 45 minutes to travel from Al Bustan Center to Sharjah Aquarium. I recommend to get your own car or take a cab from Dubai to the Sharjah Aquarium. The price of the ticket is 15 aed per person and takes around 2 to 3 hours to check out the whole place. The sharjah Aquarium opens at 1.30 noon. Kids love the place. Overall I think it can be better. But we had a good time. Do remember that the transportation isn't easy from Sharjah to back to Dubai.

Positive experience: Good place for a 1 hours tour in the aquarium and the attached ‘ boat’ Museum Same ticket for both places Not much of a tourist attraction inside but fish tanks with different sizes, Has a nice cafe at the end of the tour with good view Ventilation inside the place could be better, specially in the open tank area.

Fantastic experience: Tickets are very cheap. Aquarium is small but beautiful. Was a very calming experience. There’s a cafeteria which you can sit and have your food with a great view but they don’t have card payments. Has prayer areas and clean bathrooms. There’s a shop at the exist where you can buy little plush toys for cheap. You can also use the same ticket to go to the Marine museum on the other side of the road. Both staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Specially the lady in the aquarium reception ❤️

Positive experience: Totally unacceptable for not accepting the card payment. But,Its really good experience and perfectly organized.Specially not getting tired unlike other place.Max we can spend 2 hrs.Kids enjoyed over the play area and Adults can visit Museum with same ticket. Most informative place about Sharjah coastal life.

Fantastic experience: Nice aquarium! Took my little one here and she loved it! Wasn’t super crowded, and the employees were pleasant, from the entrance all the way to the end at the gift shop! Had a great experience all around! Will definitely be back when we are visiting Sharjah again

Positive experience: Surprisingly we had great time here . Not so big but it’s beautiful, clean and was not much crowded even on Sunday . Parking is not that much hard to find and it’s not difficult place to find with google map.

Fantastic experience: We went to Sharjah aquarium last Friday. There were so many fish. Actually so many varieties. Soothing and relaxing experience. We loved it. With the same ticket we can go to the museum, Situated next to aquarium. One more thing, senior citizen can enter without ticket .There is a small play area for kids.Its a good place to visit with your family and friends.Kids will enjoy it.
