Fantastic experience: There are so many different sharks and 300+ under the water creatures. Parrots, penguins, crocodiles, bridges, and rainforests. It will take you 60-90 minutes for the tour unless you have an excited kid. Staff is helpful in guiding and explaining a little bit of history about species and how the museum was built and what it takes to keep these animals protected. I will share only one picture because I suggest you come and visit this place and experience this yourself.

Fantastic experience: This is a giant aquarium and located within the Dubai Mall. A ticket is required for the entrance. However there's a section that is available for public to view for free. That stretch covers a part of the underwater tunnel and can see few fish and sea turtle species. If you have time, it is worthy going in.

Positive experience: Considering that this is all within the Dubai Mall, we were impressed with the size of it. You can probably see it all in about 1-1.5 hours. Lots of opportunities for pictures as it doesn't get too crowded inside.

Positive experience: The Dubai Aquarium is definitely an impressive place and a fun visit with kids — our 2.5-year-old daughter really enjoyed it. It does feel a bit touristy, with lots of extras being pushed, but nothing too overwhelming. We were glad we bought our tickets online in advance — it made things smoother. Positive experience: It was interesting, especially the boat although I didn’t exactly know what I was paying for when I bought the tickets. It was not explained very well at the ticket desk what was included in my experience and it was the most expensive Aquarium I’ve ever attended to. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the glass bottom boat, the animals and the layout was interesting as it span across two floors. I was upset to learn the ultimate experience did not include meeting the penguin which after asking one of the staff members what my ticket includes as I was confused they returned with an answers saying everything but upon lining up to meet a penguin I was told I would have to pay more. Otherwise a good experience if you are aware of what you are paying to see as we did walk around confused for some time. I really enjoyed feeding the fish.

Positive experience: We visited the aquarium with our 6 month old. She loved watching the fish and looking at the other animals. My reason for not giving five stars was the presentation in the aquarium tunnel was so loud that we rushed through faster than we would have liked as it was hurting our ears. This and the lady selling photos, I felt cornered and harassed and ended up spending too much on a photo I didn’t really like. I would still recommend to go though, it was a cute experience.

Negative experience: I was heartbroken to witness a penguin lying motionless, surrounded by its own waste. The enclosure itself was also visibly dirty, with significant buildup of feces and urine. All of the penguins appeared disoriented and inactive, which is in stark contrast to what I’ve seen in well-maintained environments — such as at the London Zoo, where penguins appear active, curious, and alert. What I saw here did not feel like a space where the animals are truly cared for. It left me with a deep sense of sadness and concern. In my view, this is animal neglect. These living beings deserve better, and I hope this feedback encourages immediate attention to their health, environment, and overall wellbeing.

Negative experience: The staff at the ticket counters were not welcoming and appeared cold to us. We were enquiring about the tickets and the staff did not appear friendly and didn't care to answer our questions. However when we got out tickets scanned by another staff, it was a different approach, we were greeted with a smile and hello. The experience in general was ok but very short experience for the price you pay.

Being inside the tank with all the marine creatures was an unforgettable adventure. For those who prefer to stay dry, the underwater tunnel and nearby viewing area is also amazing, and entry for that starts at around AED 270. The staff were professional, everything was well-organized, and the entire visit was smooth and exciting. Whether you're diving or just viewing, it's a must-visit in Dubai!

Fantastic experience: One of the best aquariums to visit in the world. Present in multiple floors in Dubai mall, this is a unique place to spend time. Some unique features I liked were the boat ride and the fish feeding sessions.

Negative experience: The aquarium or the large tank with the sharks, rays and thousands of fish in the Dubai Mall is a must-see. However, a free view from the outside is enough. The entrance fee was not worth it for us as a family and as regular visitors to European zoos. We personally found it to be a lot of rather loveless and cramped aquariums without taking animal welfare seriously.

Positive experience: It’s a decent aquarium and some go things like the tank and ability to feed fish was unique. We didn’t do the boat ride but it looked interesting. Having visited aquarium’s across the world I would say this one is small and doesn’t have the same variety/ scale as others. But definitely nice to have one in the middle of the mall.

Positive experience: We did not enter the aquarium but saw the parts that are open to the public visiting Dubai mall. This is a nice distraction from the shopping and glitter of the mall. At the time of our visit during the early evening hours of a Ramadan day, there were no lines, and the place was relatively empty.

Fantastic experience: So this costs about the same as the view from the top of the Burj khalifa. If you have small children, this is probably your better bet. No lines. You can eat and drink inside. (If you have to choose between the Burj or this as an adult, see the Burj but do it by dining at the Atmosphere Lounge instead of the experience you buy at the mall.) The aquarium is well done and the experience actually covers many floors. You’ll see more than you expected and then they let us use our ticket price for vouchers at the gift shop so basic souvenirs were basically included. We had fun!

Negative experience: For us it was a disappointment. The reasons are as follows: price of the ticket was high hence you expect something spectacular. Our local aquarium in Budapest would be bigger with more fish for 1/3 of the price. We would not go again! And definitely would spend the money on other things.i would recommend to just view the aquarium from the mall. You don’t see much more inside. One other note. The Pinguin cage is small and sad to see how people are let in to take photos. They looked so unhappy in that small cage.

Negative experience: You can enjoy the huge tank display from the mall which is 80% of the entire experience. This is a very expensive site to visit and not worth it unless you have little ones who would be delighted to see all the marine life. Positive experience: This is our second visit to the aquarium. It's a must visit when travelling to Dubai. A variety of sea life to explore. The staff are very helpful.

Positive experience: One of the less exciting aquariums i have visited. Would really skip it next time, its not that big, with not that many species. The crocodile is the most exquisite animal there. Big kudos to the staff there as they explain a lot of interesting details throughout the route

Fantastic experience: We recently visited the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, and it was a fun and fascinating experience. Our tickets included access to the underwater tunnel, a glass tunnel built inside the massive aquarium, where we could see all kinds of sea creatures swimming around us. My daughter absolutely loved it, and it was a unique way to experience marine life up close. After the tunnel, we went up two floors to the Underwater Zoo, where we explored a wide variety of fish, penguins, and even crocodiles. The zoo section is well-organized and provides plenty of interesting exhibits. Inside the facility, I also discovered several additional activities, such as the penguin encounter, a glass-bottom boat ride inside the aquarium, and fish-feeding experiences. One downside was that I wasn’t aware of the need for advance reservations for certain activities. When I tried to book the penguin encounter on the spot, I was told the next available slot was in two hours. So, for anyone planning to visit, I highly recommend booking extra experiences in advance to avoid long waits. Overall, it was an enjoyable and unique experience. The combination of the underwater tunnel and the zoo provides plenty to see and do, making it a great attraction, especially for families with kids. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Located inside the Dubai mall, this is a decently large sized underwater zoo and aquarium however the tunnel is very small. What you see from outside is the exact same thing inside the tunnel, so just for tunnel its not worth it. The zoo however has a variety of fishes and underwater animals with descriptions including 2 crocodiles which was the most exciting part. Penguin cove is just fine and you will get good photos with them. The basic ticket was 199 aed which includes tunnel, zoo and 20aed credit for souvenir store which can be redeemed on minimum spend of 25aed. Fish feeding and interacting with penguins and boat inside the zoo is not included and the ticket rates are higher, honestly not worth it. Takes an hour to finish the entire experience and can be experienced if you are visiting Dubai as a tourist.

Positive experience: We unfortunately didn't do the underwater zoom and aquarium, but the aquarium in the mall was also just as amazing.the Dubai mall is absolutely huge. U can find almost anything but lots of walking . My daughter loved the bookstore, which is like a library on its own. She was spoilt for choices n not forgetting the canyon store

Positive experience: Yes, it's costly, but it's worth it! You could easily spend more than 2 hours. Relax and walk around, there is a lot to see and even to touch, nice atmosphere!

Positive experience: Incredible Experience at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo! I had an amazing time visiting Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo! The sheer size of the aquarium and the variety of marine life on display were absolutely breathtaking. Walking through the tunnel and seeing sharks, rays, and vibrant fish swimming all around was a surreal experience. The exhibits were well-maintained, and the information provided about different species was both interesting and educational. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the opportunity to see the giant crocodile up close—definitely a highlight of the visit! One thing to note is that the pictures taken by the staff are quite pricey, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great if they offered more affordable options. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit, whether you’re a marine life enthusiast or just looking for a fun and unique attraction in Dubai. Highly recommended for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

Fantastic experience: For exploring the aqua life I recommend to visit The lost Chamber in the Atlantis. But this is also a good experience situated in the Dubai mall. Glass boat ride is not worthy.

I must recommend visiting this place at least for once. There is also a charged portion of the aquarium, but we saw it from the main floor for free.

Fantastic experience: oh my God, Victor was simply superb. This is our first time visiting Dubai Underwater zoo and Penguin Cove. Initially, we were a bit confused as we were finding it hard without the explanations, and then Appeared Victor as our saviour he helped us in having the best experience in The aquarium, he explained each and every animal/fishes, he was also funny and was so good with Kids . Victor just enhanced our Aquarium visit.

Fantastic experience: One of the most memorable days when I visited this..A wonderful tank with a tunnel filled with a few kinds of fish. Many sharks and rays in the main tank. The glass boat certainly provided a different view of the tank, though it was extremely short. The underwater zoo was also a great place with more diversity in fish species. Shocked to find they have the second biggest crocodile in the world-he is huge!!! The way the diver feeds them is amazing..

Positive experience: There is lot of missing information online about this attraction. I hope to clear that here. First it comprises of two major parts with multiple add-ons. First part: There is a big two storeyed aquarium in the Dubai Mall with sharks, manta rays etc. and it is visible from Ground and 1st floors of Dubai Mall. No tickets are needed. However it has a glass tunnel running inside it which provides you a unique perspective. You can buy ticket for it from Ground floor, however just buying that ticket is not worth it. Better goto 1st floor (or online) and buy "Underwater Zoo" ticket. Online you will find better deals. This Zoo is the second part. This is in a complex which sits over the aquarium and has many sections like - Rain forest, Sea creatures and Nighties. Where they have varieties of fishes, snakes, jelly fishes, even humongous crocodiles, and so many things. Last but not the least, also penguins. This is the section which contains so many add-ons. (Add-on 1) You can pay extra to sit inside a cold room with provided warm jackets to interact closely with penguins and feed them. Near the penguin section there is a big opening over the aquarium with two sets of stairs leading down into the inside of the aquarium. (Add-on 2) You can choose to feed the fishes and go for boat ride inside the aquarium tank. (Add-on 3) You can don on diving suit and go with instructor inside a metal cage which descends into the aquarium water to closely interact with the sharks. (Add-on 4) You can go diving into the aquarium with no cages along with an instructor. Remember when you buy the Zoo tickets, it also includes the tunnel but both activities are completely separate and no might guide you towards the other one. So do not forget to visit the tunnel after you visit the Zoo.
