Positive experience: I’ve always loved coming to see the Orcas! Even though the whole idea of captive Marnie animals is wrong. Sea World does a great job of keep these beautiful animals as healthy and active as possible to allow these animals the best chance of life! And it allows everyone the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures!

Positive experience: There is always the ongoing debate over whether or not Orca's should be held in captivity with arguments on research and care versus living in the wild. Until said arguments get resolved, if you want to see an Orca up close, this is the place to do it. Seeing them in the wild is a matter of chance and you will rarely if ever see much more than a dorsal fin and a pod passes by.

Fantastic experience: Great stadium with tons of seating! If you’re up for getting soaked, grab a spot down front—those orcas will definitely drench you!

Positive experience: This is a tough review to write because I didn't know much about Sea World before coming. The orca show seemed like a good idea and in terms of entertainment, it was interesting to watch the power and trainability of the animals. The show was a bit short, thus the four stars. Afterwards, reading about the controversy surrounding holding orcas in captivity was sobering. While they're are benefits, research, rehabilitation, general care, the downsides are noted in online sources, such as the floppy dorsal fin syndrome and impact on family dynamics for such intelligent animals. So, like the dolphin show, I have mixed feelings about this. Here are pics of the show to give you a sense of both the entertainment value and environment.

Negative experience: Extremely sad. The orcas in particular should not be in those tiny tanks. Sea world should be working to transition them to a seaside pen in the ocean where visitors can see them in their natural habitat and they can actually have more room and experience more realistic to what they would have naturally.

Fantastic experience: Best show ever! The whales would not listen. Would not participate. Followed no directions. It was hilarious. They called them social issues. I have seen this show so many times. I have never witnessed them ‘needing their space’. Totally enjoyed the naughty whale show.

Negative experience: Awful conditions for the poor animals

Fantastic experience: Great place, the orcas were well taken care of. They didn't have to starve and hunt for food and had free medical!

Negative experience: Shame on the customers especially! The animals are not your property!!!

Negative experience: these animals were captured from their families and bred with relatives to continue performances. So many animals have died here. Stop the shows. Release the animals to a seaside sanctuary where they can experience natural rhythms of the ocean while receiving assisted care if needed.
