Reef Chasers

Fantastic experience: My first order from Reef Chasers was delayed by UPS for one day, and the coral unfortunately did not survive the shipping from Tennessee to California. This obviously is not the fault of Reef Chasers, and they did reach out and offer to reimburse me for the lost coral on my next order, and also to throw in a free frag for the trouble. My second order arrived on time and in excellent health, although I did not receive the promised compensation with this second order. Overall, I am happy with my purchase from Reef Chasers. The prices were good, the customer service was responsive, and the corals were gorgeous. It is important to practice empathy and understanding with small businesses like these, as without them nobody would have any corals at all! I will likely place at least one more order of corals sometime in the future. Update: Reef Chasers eventually refunded me for the original DOA coral as promised, and as such I can highly recommend purchasing from this shop!

Fantastic experience: THIS IS THE BEST SALTWATER FISH STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! They are absolutely amazing in every way!!! They farm their own corals, the QT fish before you buy them, I did not see any pests in their tanks, they give out stickers, they ship, they 3d print tons of tank accessories, they package fish with pure Oxygen, they are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they have a huge selection, and they even let you spin a wheel with purchase for a chance at discounts, mystery frags, and more! I cannot say enough great things about this fish store!!! This is one that is DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE!!!

Fantastic experience: Best place to buy all of your saltwater needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is not your typical LFS this is a coral FARM with top of the line equipment and livestock, HIGHLY recommend!!

Negative experience: Worst fish store ever don't buy from here unless you want marine velvet in your tank. Got 2 fish from here and killed every fish in my tank. As you can see from the reply the owner is also a jerk. Never asked for anything from them just letting everyone know shop here at your own risk.

Negative experience: I bought a Og holy grail it arrived unhealthy and deteriorating. I emailed them to let them know of the situation. the next day I found out it had brown jelly total goner sad thing is I’m worried the rest of my coral in the tank will get infected with it. They didn’t offer anything just told me it’s alive and looks “colorful”. I wouldn't buy anything again or receive any live items from them again anyway the plug holding the coral had a small piece of aiptasia and many other pest. First bad experience I had with an online vendor that’s what I get for going the cheap route online!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal coral selection, good prices, very helpful owner. Absolutely will be back and definitely would say if you’re looking for coral this is the place to go in Tennessee.

Fantastic experience: I've purchased all my fish, inverts and most of my coral from Reef Chasers. The place has a bunch and I mean a bunch of fish and . Never lost a fish from there. I do live only 35 mins away but I do call before i go because they do ship fish and coral so I make sure they're not slammed with shipping out orders. They're staff has given me really good advice about the coral and fish I purchased.

Negative experience: Purchased 2 White Tail Yellow Eye Bristletooths from them. One for each aquarium. On Friday, 7 days after I received them, found the one dead. Tried to call them but they were closed. Emailed the next business day and then they told me it wasn't in their 7 day policy, to bad. Even tried to say I shouldn't put both in one tank. I never did, and that is why one died! Would never do business with them again! Was just about to place a very large order to start stocking a new 600 gal plus tank and cancelled it all. Poor service and garbage customer support! Find your fish elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience ordering online with Reef Chasers. Ordered some coral frags and they arrived safe and look very healthy. Packaging was well done. Ordered in the morning and had my shipment the following day by Noon. I would not hesitate to do business with Reef Chasers again! Great company!

Negative experience: I had three orders in total; on the second order the corrals were dead upon arrival. Customer service had all sorts of metaphorical hoops to jump through and the end result is that they WILL NOT refund you no matter what. They will only offer a credit, but you have to pay shipping which is like $56.00 I did that for my last order and same thing happened. My clownfish were half dead, and all the corals died. Customer service just stopped responding and basically ran away with my money.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for all saltwater needs. Great coral selection and the owners are very knowledgeable and care a great deal about the animals they sell. We'll be going back even though it's a bit of a drive.

Fantastic experience: Great place to buy fish, coral, inverts, and nems! Me and my wife have been to Reef Chasers several times and everytime we go it is a very cool experience, like getting a look at what happens behined the scenes at a fish /coral store. I know they get a lot of business online but I only live 45 minutes away so why not just go see everything in person, right? The first time we went we weren't sure if they were open to the public, because all the windows are blacked out and one door says employees only. When we entered on the left door we were greeted like any other business and there were several people taking care of corals/fish. I'm terrible with names but I'm sure the owner is the one who helps me everytime I go. He always shows us the new stuff and the corals, anemones, inverts in the back rooms. It kinda feels like a guided tour and makes us feel very important.

Fantastic experience: What an incredible selection of coral and saltwater fish, and they’re restocked regularly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are great. Hard to believe there’s a place like this in Cleveland. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Negative experience: I drove down here with my boyfriend (over an hour from us), during business hours and doors were locked. Called 2x, answered on the second and said we couldn’t buy anything unless the owner was there. Terrible business practice.

Negative experience: I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Reef Chasers. I drove over an hour, within their advertised business hours, only to find a sign saying they'd be back by 1:30 PM. So, I patiently waited for over an hour. When I called them at 1:35 PM, I was told they were out buying fish and could have someone let me in, but I couldn't make any purchases until the owner returned. I was ready to spend several hundred to a thousand dollars, but the lack of professionalism and customer service has cost them a loyal repeat customer. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: First time ordering from Reef Chasers and it won't be the last. The product arrived on time, nicely packaged and in good condition. Here's the thing, I ordered two plugs of zoanthids (So sick and tired of the reefing industry selling things by the polyps. Never used to be that way and it's ruining the industry. Greedy individuals selling one polyp corals for $40+ and we as coral enthusiasts were forced to buy such products as that was the option available) and Reef Chasers shipped me two awesome frag plugs. One has a dozen heads on it and the other has well over 25 heads on it. Both are nice pieces. Both are soaking now. Will dip them here shortly and put in the tank in a hour or so. People are willing to pay for a nice piece of coral when it's worth while. Keep up the stellar work and customer service. I applaud you.

Fantastic experience: Ordered their Phytobloom online and had it shipped to MN. Arrived well packed, dense AF, filled as full as it could get, and high quality. The last phytoplankton I got from Algae Barn was set to expire in 3 weeks from when I got it, and smelt rotten after a few weeks. Very happy with my purchase and will return to purchase more.

Fantastic experience: Went to Reef Chasers this weekend and checked out their inventory. Absolutely great guys and very friendly. The fish look awesome and healthy and the corals look amazing. Picked up an anthias and a few coral and I am very pleased with them. The Anthias is already eating what I'm feeding so all around a great purchase. Thanks guys! Ill be buying from you again.

Fantastic experience: I bought a blue tang from him and am very happy with the purchase. He quarantines all his fish which is a big plus. Very good guy to talk to. His knows alot and did test with some products for reef tanks like chemiclean. Will be buying from him again
