Fantastic experience: It's a small little area ypu can explore at your own pace with or without a little paper guide to tell you more. Lots of interesting information about the animals and things, plenty to explore and not overwhelming.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to visit, especially for kids. It has different and interesting exhibitions. Staff is great, and they keep the place in excellent condition. Entrance is for free. Donations are welcome.

Fantastic experience: Butterfly and migrating birds garden. Nice aquariums on display. Following the flow of the Loxahatchee from fresh water to brackish then saltwater. Stop in for a visit!

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited The River Center on a cloudy day, and it turned out to be a lovely experience! It took about 45 minutes to explore the building and the butterfly garden area, which was just the right amount of time. We found this hidden gem on Google, and upon arrival, we were greeted by an enthusiastic and welcoming staff. The center features three observatory rooms filled with vibrant exhibits and valuable information about the local ecosystem. Everything was well-maintained and educational. The butterfly garden was a pleasant walk, though we didn’t see any butterflies during our visit—perhaps they’ll be more active in the spring when the garden is in full bloom. Bonus points for the ample parking space, making it a hassle-free stop. Definitely recommend for families, nature enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a quick and informative outing!

Fantastic experience: Archery 101 was an awesome class. We had fun and learned how to use the bow and arrow. The class was educational and entertaining. Thanks to Sam and her team. Highly recommended! Cant wait for them to add more classes.

Fantastic experience: So cute! Great place! Very clean and we saw the fish and turtles get fed and was wonderful! We met Igor the giant fish, Steve the snapping turtle, and Ethel the Eel.

Positive experience: We found The River Center while looking for things to do in Jupiter. Everyone who worked there was very nice and friendly. It was not crowded at all when we went there and we were able to take our time looking at the aquariums and all the animals there. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals and doing the touch tank. They also had lots of fun, interactive, and informative signs and displays.

Fantastic experience: Small but well done and FREE center. Took about 25 minutes to go through it. Also, I really like seeing all of the programs they offer to the community.

Fantastic experience: Place is amazing. Sam is the best. Sometimes volunteers at front desk are a little… less inviting. But if you come when any of staff are there you will be welcomed woth joy and enthusiasm. Thank you RC folks for all you do!

Fantastic experience: Cute little wildlife center with facts about local animals and ecosystems. There was also a touch tank but it was down for service. My son did walk out with a free book they were giving away for free which was nice. I recommend this place for parents with small children. Not much for just adults. Parking was free and entrance to center as well.

Fantastic experience: The center was small but lovely with some fascinating animals which include saltwater and freshwater fish and different reptiles. It also had a cool touch tank with some interesting animals. Staff was also amazing. Just a great center !

Negative experience: There was nobaty there and the staff were horrible and it was boring.

Fantastic experience: Great place to kill some time with the kiddos for free! They have a very diverse collection of fish to look at. It is small and easy to keep up with the kids. They have a touch pool as well as many different fish, turtles, and alligators.

Fantastic experience: Great place. They do classes for the kids to learn about the Florida ecosystem and have lots of hands on animals and exhibits. They make great use of the small space and the staff is very informative. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to visit, and it's free. The touch tank is a great experience, you can touch sea urchins, sea stars and conches. They also have a lot of events like storytime for kids and lectures for adults.

Fantastic experience: Really good place to visit with kids. The story time and touch pool was great for my littles. We also enjoyed watching Alligator Alice and scooting on the paths outside along the river and the playground.

Fantastic experience: Completely amazing little place. Best to come early when place just opened that way the volunteer girls can be great help explaining the hands on water creatures for kids and everyone. It was a one on one experience. We loved it and the setting is cute.
