Negative experience: I called twice and left messages to schedule an estimate to repair / replace a fountain in my backyard. My calls were never returned.
Fantastic experience: We have been doing business with Ruff waters for years since Scott Ruff and his team built our backyard pond. Their quality of service is next to none. Scott is always super nice to take care of any issue with the pond. Lately, his nephew, Conner is taking care of our pond. I cannot say enough good things about his service. He just fixed a big leak in the pond just beautifully. We are very satisfied with Ruff Waters. If you are thinking about getting a pond in your backyard, Ruff waters will be the company to go to. You will never regret.

Fantastic experience: We have a fish tank at our office and are a little obsessive about it. I'm part of the team that feeds the fish and keeps an eye on things. Ryan is awesome to work with. Always does a great job and is very patient with all our questions and concerns about our little fish friends.
Fantastic experience: Our pond had a water loss issue and was pretty overgrown Ruff Waters came out did a through inspection laying out what they thought were the main issues. Then sent a detailed estimate, they showed up when they said they would be there, they did the work we agreed to in the time frame they said. The work they did took care of our issues fixed our water loss and the pond now looks as good as it did when it was new. The bill was what the estimate said, so to us when a contractor shows up does what they say they will do gets it done to your expectations of time and quality then bills your what they said they would I dont know it gets any better than that. Fantastic experience: I love this place. Scott Ruff is very knowledgeable and has short wait times to answer any questions I have for him. This is not a retail store, so you have to check with him to make sure someone is there.

Each step she takes so I understand the reasoning behind each step she takes. She did my landscaping. Fantastic experience: Excellent from start to finish. They responded promptly, billing estimates were accurate and the results of the repair on my koi pond were beyond all my expectations. Mark and Dawson did a wonderful job. I would recommend them without reservation, and in all confidence.
Fantastic experience: We bought a house and our yard needed more work than we could handle. The Ruff Waters landscaping crew cleared old flower beds, defined an edge around flower beds, laid some sod, and put down 11 yards of mulch across 2 days. They did great work at a competitive price. The crew was very friendly. There were a few rolls of sod left over that they put down in some smaller blank spots. The company is a good combination of personal service but with many years of professional experience. We plan to use them in the future for yard projects.
Negative experience: I hired this company to replace our pump. After he left, we had bigger problems. The water feature would no longer hold water. After talking with him, he said it was no longer his problem. Beware of people that do not stand behind their work

You hired us to replace your pump and we eagerly did so. Days after approving the finalized job, you called to accuse us of installing a pump with weaker flow. We provided evidence of reality, showing how we actually installed the exact make and model as a replacement, as per your initial request. You again seemed satisfied, until a few more days later, when you decided to make price gouging accusations. We referred to the itemized receipt and it became apparent our prices were clearly fair and as expected. By the next day, you were suddenly accusing our service techs of damage to other areas of your property, despite any and all surveillance footage you captured, all of which disproves these unfair accusations.
With all your false accusations, we wanted out of this business relationship and offered you a full refund of our labor, which you decided to refuse. Instead, you continued to make new and outlandish accusations and threatened to 'file suit'. Unfortunately, you also decided to take time to leave various inaccurate reviews of our company.
Mory, we take great pride in our customer service and typically enjoy working with our customers - you were an exception. We wish you the best and would like to warn any other service companies to think twice before offering to do work for you.

Fantastic experience: We have been using this company for a couple of years now.It is very hard to find a good company that do pond maintenance in Omaha.Very professional people. The fish look happy in the clear water.Travis was extra nice.Answered my questions.Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: Scott is a professional. He knows what he's talking about. I have used him on numerous properties and visitor that sees his work are amazed. I have used him on my own personal pond when I get stumped. He can do whatever you need no matter how small or large. I have used other pond, aquarium and fountain contractors in the past 25 years and Scott is by far the best. You won't go wrong by using him. Thanks Scott and your crews for all you have done.
Negative experience: Not impressed with service to my salt water aquarium, in 5 months time they took it from a beautiful tank to almost me loosing 2/3of my corals, and upon further investigation used the wrong product. Also supposed tech said what ever is the cheapest at the time they get as far as product, they may care for big client/tanks but not your everyday average joe at home, and owner did not want to hear my issues or complaints, "said I was a liar but i am on to very great new service company that has turned my tank around and now almost back to 100%... So if I could make no stars I would.

It seems as though you may have had a bad experience with your aquarium and possibly even with another company. As you can see from our customer reviews and decades of work, our team is made of trained and experienced professionals. In addition to new projects, we also work with many clients who began their aquarium projects independently or otherwise ran into difficulty, and have successfully worked with them to help their aquariums thrive.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of services. From pond, landscape, and aquarium install to seasonal maintenance, Ruff Waters has their name on a lot of projects in Omaha. I've interacted with a lot of their staff and have always felt respected and welcome. Great group to work with as they are willing to help you along the way (for those that don't know what they want) as well as execute to perfection (for those that know exactly what they want).
Fantastic experience: Quality of work is unmatched. Great at landscaping, ponds, and aquariums. Stop by the shop and take a look at the live coral and fish.
Fantastic experience: I had initially purchased my tank and fish from another place. All of them became sick just a couple of weeks later. I called Ruff Waters, and they were out the next day. Scott, took them to his store and put them in the hospital tank and nursed them back to health, and turned my tank into a healthy enviroment for the fish, before they returned. We also worked together and redesigned my tank. I can't believe how well the tank turned out.You can't even tell that it's the same tank! All of the fish are healthy and happy! I am so glad that I found them. They are the most knowledgeable and customer friendly staff that I have ever worked with.From know on all of my buisness for my fish, future tanks and all of my fish related needs will all be with them.
