ℹ️ Information
One of the most popular attractions at the park is the Shark Experience, one of the first of its kind aquarium and walk-through underwater tunnel shark exhibits when it opened in 1992. The 300,000-gallon viewing gallery with floor-to-ceiling windows features a variety of shark species, including nurse shark, sandbar shark, Australian zebra shark and spotted wobbegongs, just a few of the over 380 known species of shark in the world. The sharks share the exhibit with other fish and stingrays.
At the Shark Experience, you’ll enter through a dark entryway that leads to an illuminated, crystal-clear tunnel, where you find yourself surrounded by sharks as they navigate overhead and alongside you.

🗣️ Shark Experience: Reviews
Positive experience: No more photo attraction at the end anymore, but the gift shop is still at the end. Souvenir photos across the park seem to have been discontinued, actually, including on roller coasters. Going through the Shark Experience gift shop is necessary to exit; you can't go around it anymore.
Positive experience: Even though the tanks were a little empty, we had the most wonderful time going through and watching the shark was just amazing. I'm so happy I got a couple great photos of the shark and of course a few great photos of the nurse sharks!!!
Fantastic experience: Nice little experience. Remember to look up when you drive through the tunnel to see if a shark is swimming above you. Their large aquarium is a great learning place for children.
Negative experience: Same as it's always been, just some paint and some pirate themed picture backdrop. Super underwhelming. Side note, the petting stingrays are either starving or over crowded and clearly eating eachother.
Positive experience: Sharks always inactive when I go with the family. But cool because of the dark room with neon lights
Fantastic experience: Nice walk thru aquarium setup. Can get crowded at peak times, but the line moves pretty quick. Definitely a must see when attending Six Flags.
Positive experience: The sharks are cool
Fantastic experience: It is a nice place to visit in the park
Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience and one of the worker didn't know much cuz he's new and it'z all good gotta start somewhere :-)
Fantastic experience: My granddaughters loves going through the shark tank, and we must do the walk about at least 4 times.
Fantastic experience: This attraction is inside six flags. It is free to get inside after purchasing admission to six flags.
Fantastic experience: Had a great time with the family!
Positive experience: Tanks are a tad empty. But my son had sun
Positive experience: The kids loved it..giant aquariums full of sharks looking at you...sure, it was not as good as Monteray or San Francicos aquarium, but it thrilled the kids in the cave.
Fantastic experience: Always have fun with my kids here. Plenty to do and see
Fantastic experience: this is really cool there was a shark right next to the glass and I got scared lol
Fantastic experience: Its a small aquarium, but the staff is very friendly and i personally thought the tunnel was really cool. If youre already in the park, i definitely recommend you check it out!
Fantastic experience: We spent a lot of time here; my son was fascinated with the aquarium. This is a must see if you have young kids during your visit.
Positive experience: Very short. So expect that. But so fun and lots to see. Poor shark noses were beat up from bumping into things. Could use a remodel for more space
Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! They have five species of shark, all tropical. I was able to find at least fifteen of them! Most of them are bottom dwelling. The starry pufferfish seemed to be having fun getting his picture taken! If you want a memorable educational experience for you and your family, I highly recommend visiting Shark Experience.
Negative experience: The sharks were cool but kind of sad
Positive experience: Love the floor to ceiling windows. A little warm inside. A/C not on. Staff friendly and very educational
Positive experience: Small aquarium. Only 2 sharks in entire place and one is a bottom dweller nurse shark.. Decent effort but needs more marine life and attention.
Positive experience: Love six flags. Shark experience need updating. It is cool once, but borring twice.
Fantastic experience: Very cool! It's close up with these amazing creatures!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience to walk through here with the kids and family. :-)
