Fantastic experience: Being out of Mike's area did not stop him from providing amazing service! He was able to help troubleshoot our problems via phone and text. Wish we lived closer to have him in for regular tank maintenance but would absolutely recommend anyone to him!

Negative experience: Originally did a great job and charged me $150 for a water change out only and cleaned all my own plants and ornaments and filter. Tried to Mike to come out multiple times but didn’t return call or text. Finally got in touch with him yesterday and here is the response I got “ One time service I haven't seen you in a long time!!; 330.00 .. I can put you on for around noon next Tuesday.. just let me know I do still have your address” Can you say price gouging ! And I responded I would do $200 and he blocked me Amazing

I had a koi pond I knew nothing about and they helped me make it through the winter until I could get them to do a spring clean out. The pond is healthy and looks fantastic, and they all are very responsive and kind. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Update: Our tank looks great! Water quality levels are spot on. All we did was listen to Mike. Even purchased a pair of clowns from him. We are very happy and look forward to learning more from the fish geek! Mike is helping us with our salt tank that crashed and killed all of our fish. We got bad advice service elsewhere and when it went south, they went quiet. Not Mike! He answered our calls and walked us through how to properly set up the tank based on the equipment we have. He answers questions and obviously has massive amounts of knowledge and experience. His enthusiasm for the hobby is infectious. Fantastic experience: I’m new to return to Pennsylvania after many years of being away. Having no resources of who’s the go-to for large-exotic aquariums. I wanted an aquarium to fill my time here in my home. Having a tank approximately 250 gallons and yet undecided if salt or fresh water being my preference, I did some research on the subject, wanting the exotic qualities of salt water life, I ultimately decided on fresh water. Contacting FishGeeks, again after checking reviews and calling other company’s, I found that contacting them was the “BEST” decision I could have made. They’ve enlightened me on the myriad of other fish types available in the fresh water spectrum, but he recommended the African Chiclid that offers a very wide range of Amazingly Beautiful Colorations and Forms. Now having had my aquarium set up for approximately 4-months now, he returns every 4-weeks for system upkeep and stocking my system, I never could be more satisfied with my system. Mike’s customer service: questions or concerns, additional fish and all of he other types of hinges that come up being an owner of such a large system. Mike’s personal attention to “you” as he takes the time to enlighten you on the fish, the history of them and the services that he offers in such a way that it’s more than a business for him and that “you” are more than a customer. I’ve decided to purchase other types of aquariums and animal life that his company offers real soon. I feel Blessed to have discovered FishGeeks; the company, Mike the person and strongly recommend FISH GEEKS to everyone who wants a truly concerned business owner to help you along the way of acquiring Aquatic or Reptilian life into your home or business! I’ve literally called them numerous times, sometimes with the same thing, other times with different things. They’ve always answered my calls or called me right back, heck I even got called back while he was driving once. Not one time have I ever got off the phone confused or not had my question answered. Fantastic experience: My husband deployed and had a friend to"maintain the systems and feed the fish." During a power outage i went to assess the fish tanks (in the basement) and notice "flooding." I couldn't get ahold of my husband's friend so i called the Fish Geeks. Mike, Misty, and Dave promptly reported to my house that same day I called them and did a full service on all the fresh and salt water tanks without hesitation. With that, they educated me on how the tanks were not being properly maintained by my husband's friend and took the time and patience to teach me everything I needed to do to feed the fish. From that day on, I got rid of my husbands "friend" for the fish duties and had the Fish Geeks maintain the tanks until my husband returned home. My husband was so surpised and impressed by the education and maintenence provided by the Fish Geeks when he came home, that they will be an all time keeper for us.

Negative experience: Called and spoke to Mike weeks ago and made an appointment for him to clean my pond May 31 in the early afternoon. HE DID NOT SHOW UP, HE DID NOT CALL, AND HE DID NOT REPLY TO THE MESSAGE I LEFT ON HIS MACHINE AND HE DID GET THIS MESSAGE AS HE DID CALL ME HOURS LATER THIS DAY. He finally called me back hours later to lie to me that an adoption had come through and that he was getting a room together for a baby girl coming to him and his wife and that was why he didn't show up..! ( lol..! ) This man can not stop telling lies..! ( lol..! ) His 16 year old sister was coming to live with them I later found out else where..! He merely didn't want to do the job. He told me that he didn't want to drive the whole way to York, 35-40 minutes, as it would then take him an entire day for his two hour cleaning of my pond..? He would find me someone else to clean it as he just couldn't take time away from the baby..! (lol..! ) Yes, he finally found me someone else that is in York however three times as much as he quoted me. He seemed nice on the phone until all his lies and I was sure right away when he told me about a last minute asoption that he was a liar. However I took the afternoon off to be here and he skunked me..! I can not recommend this service nor all his lies and what he says below is also all lies as I came back to check what he would write. Mike I've been in business 41 years and this is not how you treat people. You are a habitual liar and I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal qith you..Your business accumen sucks..!

Fantastic experience: can’t believe my tank is finally fixed tried myself for a year with no luck paid a guy from york and it got worse got mikes number from a friend and less then a week my tank is finally fixed now i’m actually growing corals and actually proud of my 90 gallon saltwater tank ... can’t believe how easy it is to take care of it now really made it a joy so proud of my reef tank now.
