I have wanted a saltwater aquarium for roughly 20 years, but due to me being on Active Duty and gone a lot combined with the fact that the technology we have today didn’t exist back then, I had essentially given up on ever owning one…then I retired to GA, got the desire for a saltwater aquarium again, and just happened to run across Big Fish Custom’s website…and what was once a dream became reality. Based on their reviews I decided to give them a call and see if they would be able to help me with the tank build. My concern wasn’t if they could accomplish the task…it was if they would be willing to build and deliver it to me, as I live 1 1/2 hours away on a good day. I submitted the request and waited to hear back…which took less than an hour…on the weekend. From the moment Jason called me, I had no doubt that this would be a great experience…turns out that was an understatement. From start to finish, not only did Jason keep me updated on the build, he stayed in constant contact with me regarding options/recommendations since this was my first custom build and saltwater aquarium. Delivery went off without a hitch, and to say I’m beyond impressed and happy with the quality and aesthetics is an understatement…This was a big investment for me, and to do everything over the phone/FaceTime was something that slightly concerned me when it came to color matching the wood and getting the exact fit…I assure you, I worried for nothing, and you can rest assured that Jason will make sure it’s right!! I’ve had it installed for at least 6 months now, and while he has no obligation to continue giving me advice or checking in, Jason goes out of his way still to do so, to make sure everything is working properly, check on my fish and see what new fish I’ve added, and overall, just to make sure I’m still happy with his service and product.
