Fantastic experience: Very clean with exotic fish best fish store I've been to in my life

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this store! He is so helpful and such a nice person! We have bought so much from him and will continue. Fish are always very healthy he does such a good job in caring for his stock. If you have any questions he is always very knowledgeable and helpful! Very clean store as well. Go here you will not regret it! We love it!

They have a great selection—from beautiful goldfish and rare tropical species to high-quality plants and supplies. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Best of all, their prices are very reasonable—especially considering the quality of their livestock and equipment. Whether you’re new to aquariums or a seasoned hobbyist, Oranda Aquarium is a great place to shop. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: This review comes from a former loyal customer. Unfortunately, I can no longer continue to support this business based on how they have been treating their fish. Last time I was here I saw many bettas being housed in small cups with no heating, plants or filtration. While this is sadly standard practice for large chain pet stores, I expect better from a store owned by professional local aquarists. These conditions create unhealthy amounts of stress for the animals. I also have concerns about the large predatory fish here being kept in small, overstocked tanks such as the redtail catfish in the back. As someone who takes this hobby seriously, I implore you to please prioritize the health and well-being of your livestock.

Fantastic experience: Such a clean, beautiful store! Spent at least an hour in total awe of the fish that they have in stock there. The prices are very good. They take extra care in bagging your new pets so that they arrive home healthy and safe. Even though they are located an hour and 1/2 away...they have earned my respect and is now my only "go to" fish store!!!

Fantastic experience: Shu the owner is fantastic!! His knowledge of the fish, ph levels for different species and overall passion for fish was outstanding! He was so incredibly helpful and so kind. I was very impressed with the variety of fish and saw species I’ve never seen anywhere else, and I’ve been to 5 different fish stores within a 50 mile radius within the last week! The tanks are super clean and all of the fish looked incredibly healthy and well taken care of. I would 100% recommend this store if you’re looking for new additions or just starting your aquarium. He also made wonderful recommendations on what type of food to get for our new fish we purchased. He even said if any of our fish get too big, he’d be happy to take them for store credit. I love that he told us that because part of owning fish is watching them grow and enjoying them mature. We will absolutely be back! Also this is the only fish store we’ve been to that uses compressed oxygen to fill the bags with the fish, which is so important if you’re driving a good distance and want your fish to make it home. Negative experience: Most of the fish I saw had ick at the shop, that should've been a sign for me but I end up purchasing some Oscars and it died 3 days later.

Fantastic experience: I come here a lot for new fish or supplies and the owner is always helpful and kind. I recommend this place rather than petco or petsmart when they will just sell you whatever.

Fantastic experience: This newly opened fish shop near my home is fantastic! They have many rare fish species that I have never seen before! There are both big and small fish! The owner is very enthusiastic and recommends fish based on our needs, patiently introducing the habits of each fish and how to take good care of them. The fish tanks are all very clean, showing that the owner takes great care of each fish. The owner said he will frequently have new fish available. The store is well-equipped with fish tanks, heaters, professional filters, and various fish food. I highly recommend everyone to check it out. I bought a little shark home, too cute!
