Minnesota Fishing Museum and Hall of Fame

Fantastic experience: Really cool place if you are interested in fishing. The inside is very nice and not cluttered. We saw things that my grandpa still uses while fishing. I loved all the lures and replica fish.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this museum! Many things to look at and it has so much knowledge. Not to mention the amazing gift shop perfect for those who love fishing. Plus, fun toys, stickers and trinkets for the kids!

Fantastic experience: Superb! A true hidden gem. Amazing displays of vintage lures, motors, mounts, and fishing related items. Even if you don't fish, it is worth to visit.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in and we were treated like Kings! The caretaker gave us a mini tour, answered all our questions then let us wander for over an hour. If you're a fisherman or fisherwoman, you'll be in heaven.

Fantastic experience: A fun place to visit. I saw all the old lures my late uncle had and then some. Old boat motors too. Amazing taxidermy displays. Wonderful exhibits of everything old and fishing.

Negative experience: Sadly the worst museum I’ve been to. Seemed like people in Little Falls just went through their garage and gave their old fishing stuff to this museum…and then added a plaque about them. Nothing made sense and nothing was impressive. This museum could’ve done so many cute things with fishing for kids but it missed the mark. If you’re looking for things to do a little falls, go visit Pine Grove Park and zoo, Charles Lindbergh Museum, or the military museum at Camp Ripley.

Fantastic experience: Great exhibit about the history of fishing and all that guess along with it in Minnesota... by white people. Hopefully they can add in a section on indigenous cultures in what became MN with the help and permission of those communities. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They gave a great intro story as to why the museum exists. The museum runs off donations and people reporting their family history with fishing in MN. There's a lot of great stories to tell and be told!

Positive experience: This place is full of information. Very good displays. It was so fun to read of all the fish and records caught and where along with learning all the different lures they used. Not only that it has motors, boats, and spear houses' as well from different times throughout history. Everything you need for fishing in Minnesota. Kids had a blast looking at all the different kinds of fish and how big they could get. Highly recommend having anyone that loves to fish or wants to learn more about it to go here.

Fantastic experience: By far one of the most incredible collections of Minnesota fishing memorabilia from throughout the states history including spearing, boat, and lure displays. A wonderful place to take your kids or go to relax and learn. Well worth the trip
