All tanks looked clean and healthy. We bout several fish and plants. Everything continues to thrive. Owner was very knowledgeable, and encouraging. We can't wait to go bk.

The fish seem healthy, great selection on fish and plants and there aren't a lot of fish crammed into fish tanks. Btw the lady there is so knowledgeable. I've been to many places in LA and all over kern county and can def say this is the best. Keep doing an amazing job :-)

Fantastic experience: Probably the BEST aquarium shop here in Bakersfield. They are my go-to for products and advice. They are SUPER knowledgeable and will give you the best advice if your having problems with your aquarium or just want to learn something new. They truly want the best for your fish unlike other big box stores (won't say names but you might know ). They have helped me TREMENDOUSLY and everything they have recommended for my situation with my aquarium works! I am so so so grateful to have found this place. All the fish look happy and healthy here. Not to mention the aquascapes look beautiful! I will only be shopping here for my supplies from now on. Highly highly recommend to anyone who owns an aquarium. Everything is very reasonably priced. I could easily spend a lot of money here lol. They are the best of the best 100%. Support local businesses not big box stores that just want to take your money.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend this store more, whether you’re from Bakersfield or passing through this place is a must if you’re into fish or reptiles. The owner is the nicest guy I’ve come across when it comes to petstores here in town, him as well as the employees are super knowledgeable and the care the animals require and they pride themselves in the enclosures they provide these animals while in their care. Any normal petstore you’d go to typically is in it for the money rather than the well being of the animals at hand, this isn’t the case with this establishment, they actually care & want people that come in to understand what it takes to care for these pets. They have anything you could need for fish and a ton for reptiles as well. They’re still expanding as they’re newer but I’m sure there’s lots more to come. Before stopping by your local petsmart/petco I’d suggest taking a look around this store to see if they have what you’re needing, chances they will + some because they always have some cool stuff. The prices are hard to beat as well. I’d leave a 10 star review if I could.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time in and I loved it as soon as I opened the door to walk in Cory was so knowledgeable and very helpful he took time to answer all our questions and took the time to show us a variety of all the different types of freshwater shrimp that we were looking for we were very impressed with the overall experience of this store.

Fantastic experience: we absolutely LOVE this store! great selection of fish, plants, aquariums, hard scapes,chemicals and food. owner is awesome and knowledgeable! he explained so much to me and took his time and was genuinely happy to educate me! we talked for over an hour and left knowing so much more and are extremely excited about our aquarium we have and can't wait to purchase an aquarium from from here. everything we need is all here in one shop!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could leave more stars! The staff is so smart and friendly! We had an Oscar that was on the verge of death by fungus infection. She helped us make a treatment since we lost fish before and didn't wanna loose the Oscar. The Oscar is now swimming healthily and getting better day by day. Couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: My first impression of the store was, oh geez it’s a tight fit. Once I was settled in the store had a lot to offer. I would say it’s a hobbyist store definitely catering to reptile and aquarium community. Definitely the best in Bakersfield. They got just about everything you require for basic to advanced set ups. I was completely blown away by the live animals. The love and care for them is superb. They have a vast array of live plants. Even thought the space is very small it’s organized. They offer a variety of live feeders which is a huge plus . The staff is helpful and resourceful. I can go on, just go and visit. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

The reason I was intrigued by Aqua Nature Aquarium is there partnership with Aquarium Co-op. I'm a big fan of Aquarium Co-op for sometime now and a member, I was pleased to find out that Aqua Nature honors the 5% discount. They carry a wide selection of Aquarium Co-op supplies. I bought multiple different fish and they are all doing great! I recommend this place even if you have to make the drive to get there. It was well worth it for me. Thanks again! I'll be back soon.

Fantastic experience: This store is pretty immaculate for a fish store. As a hobbyist for over 12 years, I’ve wished to have a store that I can go to that is esthetically pleasing and this place has that. The view from exterior does not give the interior of the store justice. They have the best plants and the best plant advice I’ve ever had. It’s been a week now and boy I can finally see my plants growing. My failed two years of growing and melting plants and buying lights after lights… Jeff, the owner, gave me advice, that now I’m seeing the difference. Folks I’ve found my newest go to guy for plants and certain fish. Jeff is knowledgeable, he’s a hobbyist with true “know-how”. He is building his store to carry more fish, but plants and other tank supplies are top notch here.
