Fantastic experience: Always a great experience at Blue Seas Aquariums. The staff knows their stuff and is super helpful, whether you’re new or experienced. They keep the store clean and their fish and corals are always healthy and well cared for.

Positive experience: Customer service was severely lacking, I greeted both employees and received not the slightest acknowledgement from either of the two employees on shift. This is a small store, with only 1 other customer present at the time both employees could not be bothered to even ask if I needed help in a span of 10 minutes. The coral selection was good, pricing was decent. Store was clean, but it was a lackluster experience given the drive to visit.

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous corals with great honest service. Everything always is perfectly packed and shipped. I really appreciate that if they think the item coloration wasn't accurate to the website pic at time of shipment due to coloring up under reef lighting, that they sent updated pics to confirm that I still would be satisfied. On arrival the corals were better than I hoped and I expected a lot from the pics! Thanks for great service and product!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to this store for almost a year + now. Although it’s further from home than our previous go to store we have found that we receive consistent and good advice from the folks at Blue Seas. Justin in particular has been extremely helpful. His recommendations and feedback has been spot on since day 1. He is very knowledgeable and helpful no matter the request. In addition to the knowledge factor the store itself always carries a beautiful variety of coral and fish. We have had issues from certain stores in the past where we purchase fish and subsequently get ich or red velvet. To date we have not ever had this issue with anything purchased from them. Our fish and corals have remained healthy and been wonderful additions to our tank.

Fantastic experience: I had a hard time leaving today as they had a really good variety of coral at really good prices. The sizes were all really good too. I much prefer making the 25+ minute drive here for coral than 5 minutes up the street from me for a different lfs. The prices are just too good. Also glad that they finally had Bali green slimer Acros. I’ve been looking for them for a while so it’s awesome that I could get one. I took a quick glance at their fish too and they had a really good variety of those as well. Love this place

Fantastic experience: Best place in south Florida, all there fish and corals are healthy and they have a wide selection of inventory as well. Every person who works at the store is extremely knowledgeable and is more than willing to help you if you have any issues.I was mislead by other shops just trying to sell me whatever they had and didn’t care to help or would just BS me. These guys are the complete opposite, They actually took the time to explain and answer every question I had and weren’t bothered by it on multiple occasions. If you have a saltwater tank do not hesitate to make this your go to shop! They stand apart from rest!

Negative experience: Very racist just because their system flagged a transaction as fraud they would not take my card in person with my if they said only cash so my bf came to the store with cash and just Because he was black the owner looked at him and wanted him to count out money before he even showed him what he was buying and looked at him and said I don't see cash as if he could see through his pockets worst experience ever and if your black definitely not a store for you

Negative experience: Went yesterday because my 4yo wanted fish for his new tank. No one bothered to even greet us. To people were there(in uniform shirts) talking and saw us when we walked in. I went to support them rather than the big name stores. Was truly disappointed in the customer service. I simple hello how may we help or we'll be right with you goes a long way. Another store was steps away so we went there and was greeted as we walked in the door. Guess this is what I get for wanting to support the smaller business.

Fantastic experience: Very nice aquarium store, I drove 1.5 hrs to go here as it was one of the only aquarium stores within 2 hours of me that had a Waterbox 130.4 aquarium in stock. They had four of them. The staff was really great in getting this heavy tank loaded in my truck and took the time to open the box and make sure the tank was not damaged. All of their fish looked very healthy and they had a lot of really beautiful corals. They were well stocked with any supplies you’d including ecotech stuff. Wish they were closer to me because I would make this my go to store.

I just buy an aquarium and I asked to buy some fish and the guy told me ,this is not the moment to get a fish . you need to wait to add some fish on your aquarium, the water need to me ready first . Also I want many fish and he said only two for now . Very good prices, trust me I checked all over and I'll find the best fish and equipment prices near me . Fantastic experience: So far this is by far my favorite store in Broward County! They have a great selection of corals, a ton of frags from 10 to 40 bucks. Lately, the had even better sps frags and fish. And no, their price isn't higher at all. Some people may have that impression just bc they sell some higher end equipment. But on average their price is pretty much the same as most stores around. On average their fish is in a much better condition than what I see on some other stores closer to me. Not quarantined fish, which I wish they had, but way better than many other places I have to say.

Fantastic experience: You know, it is so rare to find a fish store that with a knowledgeable staff! I have a coral tank, and the last thing i want to do is introduce a fish that will either attack my other fish, or worse yet, attack my corals. Other stores i get the sense they care only about the sale, and not the welfare of the animals. These guys are different!

Fantastic experience: Stopped in today and picked up 3 frags $20 each. Great price and healthy. Spent some time talking with Ken who is super friendly and helpful. Gave me a lot of suggestions and recommendations for a new build I plan on doing. Something I did not know which I'm glad I do now is the MAP equipment in the store is same price as BRS. 10/12/2019: 2nd pic is one year later. Great store and service, thanks Ken.

Fantastic experience: BSA is a great store with everything you need ranging from great selection on top notch equipment, great live stock and all the way through great friendly and reliable advise. If they don’t have it, they can get it. Now with their new expansion coming soon, they are only going to be better than what they already are, making them my first go to place for all my aquarium needs. I’ve been in the hobby a long time and did step away for a few years but always stayed up to date on its progression or at least I thought so, then I met Rami the owner of BSA and quickly realized I had more to learn; Rami is a standup guy with a world of experience in the industry and as genuinely helpful as they come. I recently had someone (NOT BSA) start an aquarium project for me and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made in the hobby, thankfully, I was able to get Rami to come help me out with the cluster mess this other person left me with and Rami went above and beyond the call to help me get things to where they need to be. I wish I would have gone with Rami from the beginning! Not only was he knowledgeable and helpful but never stubborn or driven to do things one way and always presented me with options for doing things rather than trying to jam something down my throat. Additionally, I am very particular about who I allow in my home, Rami being a family man himself was alway super respectful of my home and family at all times and earned both my and my wife’s trust. He is one if not the most premiere dealer for Neptune Apex products and his knowledge of their system is second to none, which is great when setting up all the programming, wiring and configurations. Overall, BSA is a great business with great people and have earned my business and loyalty. They have points and rewards programs like many online places do and are local to our community which is great for us in South Florida. BSA gets an A+ in my book!

Fantastic experience: I’m new to the hobby, my daughter wanted a small fish tank, and got a Coralife BioCube 16g. It has been a 12 month roller coaster, to say the least. Why? Because like me, there is many of you doing your own research online and coming up with your own conclusions, of what you need to do to your fish tank. Rather than leaving it to experts, like the owner Ken, who has saved my fish tank from crashing (not once, but twice). I have a beautiful garden of LPS and softies, 25 in total that, I patiently wait for Ken to have in his store. The first time, I thought I should be ok if I just test for Nitrate and Phosphate with the API kit. I was wrong, those kits are too weak and Ken recommended buying a better water testing kit like Hanna or Red Sea. I was slowly killing my corals and I didn’t even know it. The nitrate levels were through the roof, when I took a sample of my water to Ken. He has all the kits available in his store and if he doesn’t have it, he can get it. Ken recommended water changes twice a week, until my tank cleared up all the nitrates. He was right! The second time, I read that Red Sea has a product called NoPoX. I had developed green hair algae in some parts of my tank and I read that NoPoX can help control the algae. I read the instructions and used the right dosage. I went on a trip for 4 days. When I returned from my trip, all the Corals has lost their color, the Zoanthids were tightly shut, my Ricordeas, where tucked in, my chalices where immediately beaching. I knew I was in trouble. I went to Ken the very next day and did a 75% water change to my tank. He recommended another product for the green hair algae and told me to patiently wait. Sure enough he was right again. My corals are opening up again, it has been a long week of bitting my nails, to see how much damaged I caused. I only lost 2 montiporas, but I’m hoping they will come back, so I’m leaving the skeletons in my tank for now. Thank you Ken for saving my daughter’s aquarium, I will always come to you for advise.

Fantastic experience: Top store, the guys working in it are very knowledgeable and friendly. They answer any question you may have regarding saltwater tanks, corals and fish. Come with time as it gets busy there often, this is not a McDonalds where you go in and rush out. Prices are very competitive and fair. Quality of corals and fish are hands down amazing.

Fantastic experience: From the first day I walk in the store Ken was very nice and helpful. Ken is helping me start up my tank up. Now we are on phase two. In two weeks than he will help me with phase three. He told me he will continue helping me till it is done completely. Thank you Ken for your help I am glad I stop in. See you in 2 weeks.

Negative experience: Went there and was making a purchase 3 year old duaghter need to use restroom and was denied to use restroom and was told to go down the mall to a restroom.That's what i really customer service and a friendly local shop.Will not be doing business there.To deny a child to use a restroom is totally wrong nobody should be denied especially a child..... It was a really nice heavy set bald person not sure if he was owner.There is a law to refuse restroom to paying customers...

Fantastic experience: As someone who frequently travels hours to visit various shops around Florida, Blue Seas is probably one of the best aquarium shops I've ever been to. Their frags are some of the nicest, healthiest and cleanest you'll find anywhere. Despite my religious dipping, I've yet to find a single pest among the loads of frags I've purchased from them. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable - always willing to share their experience/advice. I decided to visit them when figuring out where to order my Red Sea Reefer tank and finally make my transition over to the reefing hobby from planted tanks. They've guided me from near zero experience to running a maturing, successful mixed reef tank packed with SPS, Acros and LPS. It's always a pleasure stopping by the shop. My only complaint is I can't seem to walk out the shop without buying something I had no intent on purchasing haha.

Fantastic experience: Great little shop for coral, clams and some fish. They do full testing for a fee ($7 for a full salt water test) and individual component tests for a $1 each. We have purchased many coral crib here and it all thrives really well. It can range from $10 on up to $100 depending what you are looking for. There really is something for everyone. The sales associates are very knowledgeable and ready to help or give advice as needed. We shop here all the time for the service alone.

Fantastic experience: I have recieved two orders now from Rami. Both have exceeded expectations. The corals are very healthy and the color is better that the photos he posts, unlike some other sites that overdo the PS. The customer service was great too. I called with a question about a posted coral and Rami answered them honestly. I would not hesitate to buy from BSA again!

Positive experience: These guys have a nice little shop. They focus more on coral than fish or dry goods but all three are available. You can find some great $5-10 frags here sometimes. Staff are always friendly.

Medium sized selection of fish but they aren't the crappy filler fish, these guys carry some of the nicer things to put in your tank. Would always recommend Blue Seas.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I picked up some water for a friend's tank. I was not even acknowledged by the employee when I entered. I stood around for several minutes until he was ready to help me. I didn't know what water my friend used exactly, so the cashier 'Rami' looked up what he bought previously. He tells me mixed saltwater. I found out later it was actually RO water that was always bought. He was an unfriendly employee and he straight up lied about the water my friend buys ( because I don't know much about fish tanks and it was more money then RO water). I won't be going back to that place with employees of such integrity.

Positive experience: Two thumbs up, but had to edit my review. Stopped in on 5/11/15 and was given the cold shoulder from cashier Weston; salesperson 100117. I'm the only customer in the store and he didn't greet me only thing he ask what type of water I wanted, because of the blue five gallon pail I was carrying. I wanted to by some corals, but he acted like I was bothering him so I decided to get my water and leave. Other than that love the place!!!

A friend of mine told me that i need to go visit but i never had the spare time to drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way. After i was there the first time, im there every friday afternoon getting whatever i need. This store has great prices, selection, and service.
