Nocturnal Reef - Tropical Fish and Coral

Negative experience: This place is not longer for business... not sure why they keep it here in google. I was there last week.. yesterday and today..11 am yesterday 4lm and so today .. alll business hours and always closed..

Negative experience: THEY ARE NOT OPEN TO PUBLIC. I drove there on my lunch break to find a note on the door that said "closed". Guy outside asked me if I was a returning customer, I replied "no, this is my first time" and he said "ya, we're closed to the public and only sell online".

Negative experience: Man I would love to check this place out since it is so close to my home but I have gone 4 times during there stated open hours and they are always closed. Update your hours

Negative experience: I have been shopping at the store for over 10 months and was extremely happy. Purchased a fish on Friday the fish died Sunday morning. All I asked for was $70 store credit(since this was the fourth fish that has died from this store, and I never asked for anything) for what I felt was unfair fish never ate the owner refused to give me anything and basically treated me like garbage after I have spent thousands of dollars there. Zero customer service.

Negative experience: I should have done more research before going in, that’s on me, but they sold me a pair of breeding compatible snails after I told them multiple times I wasn’t prepared to deal with fertilized eggs Like help a person out and make sure they aren’t leaving with something they don’t want, c’mon

Negative experience: Sold me a fish with velvet, I called them back the day I bought the fish and several days after with no call back. When I finally got a hold of them, tried to blame it on my water. The lady was very rude and knew nothing about fish. New Los Angeles owners. Killed all of my fish in my tank. Now I have to go fishless for three months. Not hard since all of them are dead. Do not go to the store unless you 100% quarantine your fish. They will sell you a tank bomb. If a LFS will sell you and infected fish with no recourse, as Ryan from BRS says, don't walk but run away from that store and never look back.

They have everything for all skill levels! From saltwater fish to invertebrates and even freshwater livestock. Negative experience: This place is in the middle of a sketchy neighborhood in a literal garage. Small selection. Dark and dirty. Several dead fish in the tanks....Then when my husband asked about tank size/set up, he was answered rudely with an arrogant attitude. We won’t be back.

Positive experience: I tried my best to give them my business, last 2 visits they had no water for my aquarium,s (3) of them. Last time I got water it killed 2 of my prized fish. Given them several chances to redeem themselves. ..but after again having no water again it’s time to find anew place. Really liked them but from a business standpoint I got to move on and find a new place.

Fantastic experience: I totally scored today. I went in the store with the intent of picking up a couple of pounds of live rock. The price per pound was not only super competitive, I scored a couple of pieces totally purple and loaded in star polyps. The price per pound didn't change.

Fantastic experience: Awesome fish store with a great selection of coral and some interesting fish that always look healthy. During evacuations last month we were panicked and didn't know what to do with our large Tesellata Moray Eel, Greg. We called Reefers and they didn't hesitate at all to take Greg while we moved our tank and evacuated our home. He was well looked after and even fed during his stay, and we could not be more grateful for the outstanding people here who helped us without question. Greg is now happily back at home with us, along with a new cleaner Wrasse from Reefers that has been thriving and healthy in the weeks since we brought him home. This will always be the first place we go to for all our aquarium needs!
