Fantastic experience: Great place for saltwater enthusiasts! Been coming here for over a year, I actually drive by a different store to go here. Why? Knowledge and selection! Competitive prices, amazing selection of fish and corals, and plenty of experts and who can help get the job done. Thanks to Robert and his team, they hooked me up with a sweet 120 gallon tank, for an amazing price. Let me borrow the tools to move it too. Negative experience: Went in to look at fish with intent to purchase with my son beautiful fish!! However the worst customer service I have ever encountered!!!!! Didn't even acknowledge us as we walked in didn't acknowledge us as we walked around the store only to give us glares as I'd we didn't belong in store!!! Very disappointing and willl never go to this place again!!!!

I did buy a coral thinking oh wow it’s beautiful, it looks nothing like what I thought I was getting. Too much black lightning in that shop. Also my the fish I bought never ate after bringing it home and it died. Might not have anything to do with them but.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly nice store! Today was our first visit ever and drove over an hour to visit. My girlfriend and I normally visit DNA and Fish Gallery as our usuals and I have got to say if you are a reef keeper please visit this store and see a new standard. Every coral was so healthy. Incredibly well priced as well, I was amazed to find a green toadstool for half off what I was going to pay online and they had the green clove polyps I have been searching for for months after my girlfriends first frag died off. I presume it was the owner we dealt with and even when he pulled the polyp frag out he forewarned me he noticed a little aptasia on it so I could properly handle it. Incredible honesty there because he could have bagged the coral and not cared about my piece of the sea. Will definitely return here!

Fantastic experience: You can't get much better than Robert's for your Marine aquarium needs in this area. Great service, great owner, very knowledgeable, and always helpful. Look for routine sales on livestock and coral! They also have a really decent incentive program for regular customers that I have taken full advantage of. Look nowhere else for your marine aquarium needs.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. First time to own a coral reef, took allot of time with questions I had. Took the time to show me how to clean the sand. This was the third place I've visited and definitely will only use this place. It was fun too!

Fantastic experience: I've been in the hobby for over 10 years. I've brought several fishes for my 220 gallon FOWLR from Roberts Reef past couple of years. Nowadays we have many options to buy saltwater fishes. But for me this is a very good saltwater fish store; they do it the right way: the fishes look healthy and it appears that the fishes are acclimated in the correct manner. Here's the thing, for me when you go into a lfs and look at their display tanks and how they managed them, the water quality, healthy corals and fishes, tanks are clean and beautiful, etc... you will know the quality of the store right away. The price is reasonable. The gentleman at the store was accommodating and helpful at the same time not pressing. The thin man w the beard think his name is Robert, he was pretty cool, down to earth and pleasant to talk to. Btw my wrasse and bristletooth tang from Roberts Reef are still thriving for over a year now.

Negative experience: Just visited and wasn’t very pleased. 1 of the guys that greeted me (older guy) seemed annoyed I was asking questions and then seemed to get a attitude over a misunderstanding. I asked if they have any frag tanks (tanks with frags for sale, even said that part) and I was met with a attitude of “ yeah we have frags”. Maybe next time be a little more polite and show people the frag room in the BACK of the building instead of catching a attitude…maybe he was just upset I interrupted his photo taking session ‍♂️

Negative experience: Easter Sunday 2022. Went to this store for the first time. Looked around for few minutes and then left. Never talked to anyone because we were never approached by anyone. The store smelled like an ashtray. I will not be back.

All the aquariums show each individual fish along with name and description of reef safety and demeanor. Very impressed with everything. All fish also looked healthy and tanks were cleaned and well kept. We live in KC, mo so we didn’t get to buy any fish but we would if we lived closer 1000%!

Fantastic experience: A friend told me about this place and I am so glad he did. This place is awesome. First of all i was greeted promptly with a friendly welcome, which made me feel good about the money I knew I would be spending over the next week. The tanks were very clean and well kept. The display tanks were full and nicely aquascaped. The frag tanks were nicely organized and labeled well. And boy do they have a ton of fish. Fantastic experience: Walked in not knowing what to expect as I had been visiting some reef stores to figure out who I would be buying from and one word describes this place. WOW. They have some of the best corals I have seen as well as a sps dedicated tank that is absolutely stunning, not to mention the 450 or what ever size tank that is next to it. Fantastic experience: I’m a long time customer for the past 10yrs! These guys know 100% saltwater aquariums. All of the fish are inspected upon arrival and quarantined. The consistant assortment of corals is amazing! If your a new comer coming into this family owned store say hi! Don’t be shy! The guys are awesome! Negative experience: Wanted to buy from them on Facebook and they stated since I’m not a regular customer they banned me from buying? That doesn’t make sense they are shady people out for your money they make their prices so high that when they do their 50%off sale they still try to make a profit from it I have all messages of them being spiteful that you come to the store to look around who wants to spend 200$ or more everytime it’s a free world you can literally walk in any store and walk out with nobody being spiteful that you didn’t buy from them...don’t do business here there is a reason they moved their location and lost their old business partners.
