Very clean and organized everything looks new the owner Carlos is very knowledgeable on the subject is very willing to help with everything you need for your saltwater aquarium. When you want a fish he will gladly order for you and he will quarantine the fish when it gets delivered to make sure the fish does not have any illnesses or diseases that can hurt your aquarium!

If you have a Saltwater Tank and need help setting it up or correcting problems that you are having with your Tank, Please stop by ( VIP ) Aquariums they will help you. and they have a great selection of corals and supplies in the store.. Its located in a small warehouse area off of SW 137 Ave in Miami, But it's worth the trip..

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the tanks are clean and the selection is great. All the livestock looks to be well taken care off. Stop by just to look at the employee tanks if nothing else.

Negative experience: Very understaffed you have to wait 30-45 mins just to be attended to. Fish are not of the best quality I would say they last 2 weeks tops. This place used to be decent but has become very low-end. I’ve witnessed and experienced the haggling of customers to buy. They basically make it known it’s not okay to just come in for water and supplies. Also there’s always a guy in there with no shirt on very uncomfortable and unprofessional. To say the least this place is probably very lucky there isn’t another salt water aquarium store for 20 miles.

Fantastic experience: After my husband passed just over 4 yrs ago, rock flower anemones were the FIRST items I deemed beautiful and remarkable while I was grieving. So naturally rock flowers mean very much to me- made me feel hopeful somehow. And so I came across VIPReef in my search for flowers. I remember Frank telling me that the variations coming out of the ocean were just extraordinary, and that every year it was morphing into new colors and patterns. I knew I'd have to visit. So I drove from the NC Mountains to Miami to learn about the shop and wonderful staff that have always answered every question I've ever shot in an email. VIPReef is worth it. I stood in awe while I opened the freezer and saw all the frozen items. I'd never seen so many gorgeous fish or corals in one location. They have ALWAYS made me feel like their number one priority: asking me when I want items sent out, being conscious of the weather, and one instance pointing out to me that I was $4 away from free shipping. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all of the fish, corals, chemicals, and equipment. We use to visit many aquarium shops, but VIP always had such a big selection we don't Coral Hop any longer. You must visit here at least 1 time to see this for yourself! Fantastic experience: After 20 plus years I decided to get back into the saltwater aquariums hobby. I knew a lot has changed in the past 20 years so I needed to find someone in the saltwater aquarium business that I could trust. Before I would buy my first saltwater aquarium I would have to study up on the latest and greatest and learn the hobby all over again. I was lucky to find VIP Reef. The owner and his staff are the greatest. If you're looking for a place that you can trust and won't get ripped off and have knowledgeable people that you can talk to, well look no further than VIP Reef. Originally I started with 4 bio cube's 30 gallons each. Now I have upgraded to a 275 gallon aquarium. I did all this within two years and with the expert help and advice from VIP Reef. If you want some example here are few. I wanted to purchase all the supporting equipment and the 275 gal aquarium at the same time. Some of the items I had picked for the aquarium was on the expensive side. The staff at VIP Reef advised me not to purchase some of the items I had chosen. Some of the other equipment was the top of the line and very expensive. I was given other alternatives that worked out better and saved me money. Over the same two years I want to buy some collector saltwater fish and I was advised not to for one good reason or another. Their suggestion was same for the live coral that I had purchased or decided not to. As of today my saltwater aquarium is doing fantastic. I like to say thank you too all of my friends at VIP Reef. Without there expert advise and hospitality, I would not be able to accomplish all that I did without the help of VIP Reef.
