Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I come here almost weekly to check out their restocks. We have purchased numerous critters, corals, supplies, live rock, you name it, we’ve gotten some here and it’s high quality and healthy! It’s great to come to a smaller shop where the owners are so clearly passionate and so knowledgeable! Can’t recommend them enough. They take extra time to answer questions since I am still new to the hobby, and they’ve helped my experienced boyfriend just as much! Looking forward to our next trip in!

Fantastic experience: My fiancee and I visited Reef monsters last weekend. It's quite a drive for us so we normally don't get around to visit the store. However, that will now change due to the experience we had. I've been keeping a mixed reef for a little over a year. We often visit the other LFS's around town when we can. We primarily buy from local hobbyists or online. The reef and fish selection at Reef Montsters is nothing but top quality animals. They have corals in stock that no one else has in the valley. My fiancee had a million questions about corals she was interested in and the crew at reef monsters answered every single one. They were available to spend time with us and make sure we were taken care of. They treated us like absolute gold. I was able to buy one of my "bucket list" corals for such a fair price that I still feel like I should've paid them more. They made us feel like gold. There's no reason to visit any other stores for coral. This shop has it and if they don't they can get it. I just wish I would've gone there sooner! Thank you Reef Monsters we will see you again very soon!!!!

Positive experience: Saltwater only ! I have a freshwater tank to set up. Drove here after reading all great reviews & found out they specialize in salt water only creatures. So Pray I can return when I get a saltwater tank / house for my future pet seahorses... Unfortunately I didn't see that saltwater specialty in the info or reviews. But ok, they directed me to another location nearby. On way there now, it's all good 'cause I just dropped off donations across street

Fantastic experience: My husband loves fish and we have a few tanks at home. We have been to our fair share of fish stores and this one is by far the cleanest! Not just the store itself, but also the tanks. They fish and coral all look very well taken care of. We unfortunately live in Durango,CO so we could not buy any fish to take home since its quite a drive, but I highly recommend this store if you are into fish! The owners/employees are really nice also!

Positive experience: Pretty cool little shop. Geared more towards corals and reefs than fish but they did have a small selection of fish. Enjoyed the setup, layout and quality, however, prices were quite steep in comparison to other stores. I'm assuming covid19 probably has some contribution to that though.

The display tanks for all of their fish and corals are beautifully set up, easy to see EVERYTHING, and all the fish and corals look so happy and healthy here! The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for unique salt water livestock.

Fantastic experience: Been to many salt water shops in AZ and this is the one that can point you in the direction you are intending to go. You can just tell these people are genuine and are there for you because they like what they do. Prices are very fair and livestock in incredible! They hand pick every couple weeks and it shows. I am not sure why anyone would go elsewhere. A family run business which means no one is working there for just a paycheck.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I've been there a few times and every time has met expectations. They have very good prices. They give honest opinions. I dont know the name of the lady who helped me but you could tell she genuinly cared about the specimens they were selling. That's rare these days. She and the other employees are very informed. This is hands down the best shop in the east valley. Ive been to them all and i will not go to any of the others again.

Positive experience: I suggest calling before heading there. Quite often I go during regular business hours and they are closed for one reason or another. That being said, the prices are fair, displays are immaculate, and livestock all looks healthy.

Great coral selection. Great fish selection. Great store layout making it easy to find what your looking for. They also carry very high end coral. Love everything about this amazing place.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, good prices, beautiful store, and they had a really great selection from cheaper beginner frags to more expensive colonies. I missed the fish somehow, but spent a significant amount of time checking out the corals and all were very healthy. Will definitely be back.

Negative experience: Drove all the way over here today only to find a note on the door that said they’re closed, presumably for the Super Bowl. It’s a shame they don’t have enough respect for their customers to update their hours on Google. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, the last time I was in here the young woman that works here was incredibly rude and acted like I was wasting her time despite spending a couple hundred dollars in corals. I definitely won’t be back to this place.

Fantastic experience: They're not tropical. This place is for matine aquariums with a focus on reefs. Still for a freshwater aquarist, like myself, this place has frozen food, filters, filter media, medicines and reverse osmosis water.

Positive experience: Disappointment. They sold me a bunch of fish. Gave me absolutely no information about one of them. Nice associates. Unfortunately when money is involved friendship cant exist. Expensive live rock. Expensive sand. Their equipment is usually 20$ more expensive than anazon. When i brought it to their attention they said they have to make money . No offer to pruce match at all. They have 2 beautiful dogs . Big dogs. If you're lucky they might be there. Friendly place to take the kids . Just need to work on pricing on certain animals.
