Fantastic experience: The staff and selection here is amazing. When I had surgery and couldn’t carry the dog food staff helped me without question. Yesterday I did a pick up order and they were sold out of calming gummies. They called me and gave me options on what to do. There was a lady that called me originally and when I called back the young man helped me swap out the item for another. He was the same guy that brought it out to my car. Can’t say enough positive things about the staff here. They care and are kind! Happy to have you in town. My dog was calm from the fireworks yesterday due to your help, thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Staff is always super helpful and nice! Love shopping here for my animals! The self-bathing station is also a huuuuge plus with supplied soaps, towels and a blow dryer!

Fantastic experience: Love this place, anywhere you go animal stuff isn't gonna be cheap but for 15 dollars they have a decent dog washing station where they provide you with shampoo, conditioner, towels and an apron. He doesn't like baths as you can see.

Positive experience: We came a few times for grooming for our dog. They did a great job and coupons made it cheaper. It was always fast to get in. Staff was always friendly too. BUT, our dog started acting very unlike himself and was VERY RESISTANT to going back for a groom the last time we went. He was literally pushing back against my body. Our dog has never acted like this anywhere else before or since then. That was a huge red flag for me. I would still get treats or supplies here. I would not leave my dog here alone though.

Positive experience: Pricing with coupons tends to make this a great space to shop and get items for your pet. Good selection and quality pet food. Specifically for us, the dog food tends to be priced lower here with couponing. And the dog wash is very convenient. I can’t give them full stars, as we have tried to use grooming services over the years and found it to be a up and down experience. More recently it’s been more a down and disappointing process and experience. Whether it’s related or not, there is a noticeable turnover of staff. In store follow up from management was more placating rather than pro action to address the issue. Again, as a store, it is a good place to get needed supplies. It’s just not consistent for grooming services.

Anything you need for your pets can be found here, with reasonable prices! All the cashiers I’ve dealt with here & staff walking around or stocking shelves, were friendly & helpful. Check out the CBD products! I highly recommend this store for all your pets needs!

Positive experience: I like the store but the prices aren't the best. They're also missing a lot of the items I frequently purchase for my dog. Not all of the associates are knowledgeable of the inventory and products. I guess I shouldnt expect that but it's still a little annoying. My baby got his first haircut here and it's not what I was hoping for, especially at the cost. But I appreciate anyone who is kind and patient with my "less-than-agreeable" pup. Petco actually turned him away! :(

Fantastic experience: I drove 60 miles to this pet shop for the first time and was extremely pleased. They had fish come in that I wanted, called me upon arrival, and set them aside until I came. I’m real picky when it comes to fish illness and I saw absolutely none. Very few shops have no traces of illness in their stock, but I saw only healthy fish. Also, the staff was polite, patient, and really wanting to please their customer. I also think their prices are more than fair…..I’d gladly pay more for the nine fish I got today. I will indeed return and wish to thank Alexis for her super great service and superb fish quality and selection.

Fantastic experience: Pet Supplies Plus is always quick and available for doggy grooming. They listen to what I want for my dog and groom her appropriate to her breed while meeting my wishes. Most staff knows and loves Fyrne as we've had her groomed a couple times and my dog is very sweet and easy going. It makes me feel at ease dropping her off for grooming and their estimated times are always accurate. I appreciate the texting feature to notify me when Fyrne's bath and cut are finished. I've had a very bad experience at the Salty Dawg and getting my dog's needs met and her wellbeing kept in mind at Pet Supplies Plus is so reassuring as an owner that I'm going to the right place for my dog. I highly recommend any groomer as I've had multiple groomers take care of Fyrne and do such an amazing job. Thank you @Pet Supplies Plus.

Negative experience: Last time I took my dog to get her nails clipped, the groomer made her yelp 3 times. Another employee ended up going back there to ask it everything was okay. Today, I went in to give my dog a bath and give the groomers one more try. Well, I stood back by the groomer for a couple minutes without anyone appearing. I went up front and asked the cashier if there was a groomer and she told me there was, so I let her know that there was no one back there. I went back to the groomer expecting the cashier to tell them they had a customer. No one ever came back to help. So I gave up and just went to get my dog wash. While I was the next person in line the cashier told the manager I was looking for the groomer (after how long she finally told someone?)...the manager treated the entire situation as if it was the most inconvenient thing on planet. She wanted me to follow her but since already waited so long and I was the next one in line, I was doing my transaction first. 45 seconds later I was finished and proceeded back to the groomer (since I thought I was going to get help) no one ever showed up AGAIN. So I just gave my dog a bath and will go else where for a nail clip. But while I was bathing my dog, it sounded like the groomer finally appeared but all the dog was doing was whining and yelping. Yelping indicats pain so I definitely made the right choice to not keep trying to get a nail clip. I will be utilizing the last 3 washes on my punch card but after that I will find somewhere else to go. Pet Supplies doesn't carry my dogs food or anything and the only reason I went way out of my way to go there is that I use to be able to do a bath and nail cut at once. By the way, this was at like 9:30am on a Monday.

Fantastic experience: After learning this week that my Dog groomer would no longer be taking large dogs I was very upset. I looked at the reviews of Pet supplies and decided to call to book a appointment. I was able to get in this week which I was thankful for.I was really satisfied with my Cocos wash and brush. She can be a energetic handful & I was really pleased with how she was handled. I will definitely be back. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best pet store in Bloomington Normal. The staff are very helpful and I’ve never had to search someone down to get help unlike other stores. The self service dog wash has been a game changer.

Fantastic experience: I have a blood parrot and convict cichlids in my tank and wanted another colorful fish to add to my tank. I went to 3 other pet stores before coming here and was disappointed in the selections they had. When i got to pet supplies plus they had a great selection. I came in looking for 1 fish to add to my tank and left with 3. I was very happy with their selection of fish and the staff member that helped me was very knowledgeable about the fish. Great experience, this is the second time I’ve bought fish from this store and im going to stick with this place from now on when I’m looking for fish.

Positive experience: I purchased 20$ of tropical fish took them dhome acclimatedated them added them 4. Died I returned them he said water levels were off when in fact he checked dead fish water. I had checked levels the Eve before and were spot on he would not give me a refund.1 of the 4 was still swimming but I returned in case. Tiger barbs were the issue.the other fish I've at home are just fine.thats not fair or correct. In response to your response he did not need to be rude and all other fish are still fine.. .

Fantastic experience: Love going here. Always friendly and we have many different pets and have bought several from them. Nothing has ever had any trouble even the fish never lost a single one. Great place to buy for all our pets.

Negative experience: Was verbally harassed by an employee to the point if being threatened. When I asked for a store manager I was made to wait for him to finish what he was doing, and then I was told that he would speak to the employee. Hardly an apology at all. When I called the district manager I was told that the employee was just having a bad day, and even though he had threatened me he would still be employed at the store. I was told they would send me some coupons or something to retain my business (which wasn't going to happen anyways), and I never even received those. I've never been treated so poorly by a business.

Negative experience: The tubs are filthy and full of hair almost every time I come to give my dog a bath and I end up having to clean the tub before I can even start bathing my dog.

Positive experience: Always have crickets in stock and they are easier to keep alive than petsmarts

Fantastic experience: They're super nice here! I came in with my dog and he had stepped in some ice melt. He was obviously in discomfort, and an employee came with a clean towel to help me wipe his paws off really made our day that someone could be so kind, especially on the clock. They also always have great deals, and if you join the email group they have really good coupons!

Negative experience: Got there 10 min before close. Door locked watched them count their drawerS. Then turned around and told me it was 9:01 and they were closed. After I watched them for ten minutes. This is the reason why retail stores a becoming a thing of the past. Terrible service! We have 2 dogs and a cat and go to the pet store often. They don’t have a military discount. I’m just glad BloNo has so many options when it comes to pets. Never again!
