Fantastic experience: Brings to mind good memories of Florida. Neat watching the manatees swimming around and getting up close. Also nice to be indoors away from the heat.

Fantastic experience: As a half Ohioan half Floridian, i think it’s really cool having this little piece of Florida in the middle of the Cincinnati Zoo. This house is definitely worth checking out, not just for the Manatees but also for the Alligator, the Crocodile and the other cool, Floridian creatures within. There’s even a display that shows you how to tell an alligator, crocodile and gharial apart. Although another good way to tell is one will see you later, another will see you after a while and honestly I don’t know if the third one wants anything to do with people.

Negative experience: Drove there specifically to see the manatees and they weren't there...

Positive experience: The manatee exhibit was great. There are 3 of them and just so peaceful to sit and watch.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite parts of the zoo. Seems that the manatees are always very active long with the several different species of fish in the tanks. In my opinion it's one of the best places to get up close and personal with the animals especially if you have small children. It was also very busy but people were still respectful and quiet enough that my one-year-old son fell to sleep on my shoulder.

Positive experience: Manatees were not out but you could see them on a screen. They were cleaning their exhibit out.

Negative experience: After being to Many zoos in many cities And for that matter countries I can say that this exhibit is one of the least satisfying I think I have ever encountered. It's hard to actually gauge the manatee exhibit since it contained no manatees in the main tank there was a very small one in a side tankThat was hidden behind the rocks of the encounter. The only true Visible manatee at the exhibit was the skeletal display in the middle of the floor. We enjoy very much going to zoos and go quite often It was disappointing to have this kind of experience at the Cincinnati zoo

Negative experience: This exhibit was dark and crowded and a little confusing as to the flow of the exhibit. I was also very disappointed in how the zoo presents what appears to be a strong bias in that "ancestors" of today's animals being millions of years old as "fact" not a theory.

Fantastic experience: Love the Manatee's! This experience is fun for all ages watching them swim is so relaxing and enjoyable.

Positive experience: Nice small cave like exhibit. Big tank. It had some Gar and other smaller fish. My Wife said she seen both of the manatees, but I didn't see any.

Fantastic experience: Nice trio of small manatees. They look in pretty good shape for a manatee... No noticable scarring from boat propellers. Hope they will be able to go back into the wild. Nice viewing area as well.

Positive experience: Loved the Manatees, but was short lived when they left to be fed. My dearly departed wife loved manatees. I'm thankful we were able to see them up front and personal in the wild in Florida before she passed away.

Negative experience: It was shut down. Probably due to the season or the fact that the entire zoo seems to be undergoing some big renovation. We saw very few if any zoo employees anywhere. Most employees you saw didnt want to be there.

Positive experience: The manatees here are beautiful and I thank the Cincinnati Zoo for rescuing them from their circumstances. The exhibit is also informational but I wish the tank was bigger and more enriching for these creatures.

Positive experience: Went on a Saturday. Not a lot of animals to see, and most of the ones out were "too old and sleeping" with the exception of the manatees...or any water animal.

Fantastic experience: The Cincinnati zoo has to be one of the best around! And it seems it gets better every year! Manatee Springs has the full tank with 2 or 3 manatess along with other types of fish. There's snakes and frogs and other types of water creatures. And every time I've been in there, there's an animal encounter. So always a live animal being discussed. Awesome!

Fantastic experience: Manatee Springs is a family favorite when visiting the zoo. There is a lot to see, in addition to the manatees. It's almost hard to believe you're learning about conservation and preservation.

Negative experience: BED BUGS!!!! Not happy paying for a membership somewhere that doesn't apparantly spray for something like that. Hope they take care of the problem before they have another sleeping with the Manatees.

Positive experience: The exhibit space was great with lots of great information regarding manatees and Florida conservation efforts and facts about the delicate eco-system. However, there were no manatees. As one of the highlights of the Cincinnati zoo, you would think there would always be one out for guests to see. Very disappointed. Maybe there were times that the manatees were to be available. Check the guide they give you at the entrance.
