Fantastic experience: They take great care of their fish! I went today looking for a Betta fish. These fish tend to get mistreated and kept in poor conditions so I was pleasantly surprised to see the spacious tank with filtered and heated water they were in! All the employees were very knowledgeable. They recommended me the perfect bottom feeder that can eat excess plant debris and be able to survive a betta fish as a tank mate. Their betta fish were healthy and beautiful, I picked out a nice docile one and it gets along just fine with my corydora!

Negative experience: Place is nice but staff is unprofesional, I was looking to build my first aquarium and I was trying to buy all the equipment and fish from them but the guy that "helped me" was more interested checking his instagram and he has little to zero knowledge about aquariums. I decided to go elsewere to spend my money.

Negative experience: do NOT go to this place. they rip you off! they say they made a mistake on price and then you find the same coral on there own web site for 25 dollars cheaper . they seem nice but don't believe a word they say..BUYER BEWARE. SHAME ON PEOPLE THAT TAKE ATVANTAGE OF NICE PEOPLE.!!!!!!

Negative experience: Sad to leave this review because ive been a long time customer, but the live stock quality and care has changed. All the fish ive purchased in the past year either die off shortly after purchase or are infected with ick. This time around my recent purchase of a neon goby had ick that infected my entire tank.i have lost 3 fish and im down to my last one due to the infection. I understand buying fish/coral is a gamble at times but things like this have been happening alot from strictly's live stock lately that i have purchased. Also the coral frags are usually covered in nuisances algae (bubble algae, dinoflagellates, etc) that have spread into the aquarium. Ive learned to clean the frags best i can before putting them into my aquarium but i feel this is something strictly should have some awarness about. Hoping this review will make them improve their care and quality of livestock. Will be going else where for my aquarium needs in the meantime.

Negative experience: I did not feel taken care of! I prefer to drive a couple of miles away to a different store to Ocean View Aquariums. There are two employees that really excel on attention and knowledge

Negative experience: Every business in this country are good to make a sale but then they forget about you . I want to tell you my story . I bought a Redsea tank less than 4 yrs ago but unfortunately this month it burst . Luckily I was home so I managed to hold the front glass and with the help of my wife we managed to tied the tank with straps and holder it together. At the time of the Iccident I called the store to ask what I should do and what to do so Luis gave me the number of Dave (part-owner). When I called him the first things he said , you need to Email Reese’s and they will respond to you . Well it was Sunday no one will respond to me and also they told me that they will take between 24to 48 hrs to respond to you . My point that I want to make , they did not help me for anything, 150 gallon tank that burst they should had offer to come to my house and assist me with this issue and help me to fix the problem until we could decide what to do. Mr. Dave did not even call me back and ask if I had resolved the issue or if I will need anything. This showed you how people are. They all good to sell you 4000$ tank but nothing to help you when you probably need someone that probably deal with this very often. For sure I will never purchase a tank from them , they need to learn what is customers service and what they need to do when things happened . I’m very disappointed for they service and for their response. Thanks God I was home because I could have damaged 14 floors of my building and I could have a big law sue for each of them. Be aware of any business , people do not care about you they just care about make the quick money on you . Greed is the perfect word. Thank you .

Positive experience: The store is very beautiful and I have no doubt that everyone there is very passionate about aquarium keeping. Unfortunately the two female guppies I bought here had ick. They died a few days after purchasing them and spread it to the rest of the fish in my freshwater tank. I'm treating my tank now but ick can be hard to get rid of and I hope I don't lose my other original guppies in the tank (plus their baby guppies). The water parameters are great and all fish were fine before I added the 2 new ones. I also bought some floating red root plants from the store and they have been doing very well and look beautiful at least.

Fantastic experience: Very expensive hobby above 50 gallons. People are nice and helpful. They carry water to your car unlike other shops. They also test water and get new fish every week. New display tank out front. Be careful parking. Very crowded on weekends.

Positive experience: Bought an axolotyl less than a month ago for my daughters christmas gift.. He was super active when we got it. We did everything we told to do. Changed its water every week, fed it everyday. Checked the water conditions. It was perfectly fine, swimming around and the suddenly It died last night for no reason. I am not sure what their exchange policy is as they are not open to anwser to the phone... I am trully heartbroken and hope they will do the right thing and exchange for another one... My mom passed away shortly after getting the pet and now my 7 year old has had to experience two deaths. Its heartbreaking. I will change my rating if the store calls me back and offers to exchange, its been less than a month. Its name was snowflake. :(

Negative experience: the only reason I went in is because my son wanted to see the fish, I personally think fish belong in the ocean, not in a glass jail. Anyway, how horrible to see how they keep some fish in small glass vessels, even sadder to see how most of them were dead.

Fantastic experience: The staff was amazing always willing to help and always asked if we needed anything. the actual store was very good and clean all the fish looked healthy and active and the prices were great the tanks are cheaper than most places and the fish have good prices too. one problem I do have with the store is that they keep the beta fish in small cups like in PetSmart which I think is not good and they are selling small 1-2 gallons for betas and that is too small they also are keeping them in bowls but other than that my experience was perfect.

Positive experience: Great selection however staff is a joke, they don't eve. Talk to you and when you want to spend money its as of your bothering them.

Fantastic experience: This is a really nice fish store with both fresh and saltwater fish and corals. Clean, well organized, and the tanks look well maintained. I really like the work station where you can try out different rocks and wood before you buy them. They even stock small co2 systems for planted freshwater tanks.

Negative experience: Hiked prices, saw a few dead fish in tanks. The freshwater section is better maintaine wise. They also want to charge you 6 bucks to check water... other places in miami do it for free knowing that a customer will spend more money there.Not only that but I did not feel welcomed by staff all gathered around. No one asked if we needed help and I did not like that. Hospitality goes a long way
