Fantastic experience: I always pick up feeders for my tarantulas. They seem healthier and they don't smell bad at all. Bonus, they have horn worms which my larger girls love!

Fantastic experience: A great place for exotic fish and really any pet that you're looking for they will be able to find you and get for you (within reason of course). It's a small store but gets the job done. The guys are knowledgeable and I've never had a bad experience while there. I love to look at the live coral and of course the reptiles! Try stopping here before going to your local Big Box store. It's worth it, trust me.

Fantastic experience: Great little place I recently found, I've bought 4 fish so far in my 2 trips here an 3 of the 4 have survived. There was a little sticker shock when I went to pay for one of the fish so make sure you ask prices before you have them bag them up. Here is one of the fish I purchased.

Negative experience: I want so badly to give this place more stars, but I can't. Here is why: #1 When I went in to purchase fish, there was a little banjo catfish laying at the bottom of one of the tanks. And I mean, little, like baby little. It was struggling to breathe, so I pointed it out to one of the employees. He came over, stuck his hand in the tank, pulled out the catfish and threw it on the floor. THE FLOOR. That's disgusting to do with a little life.While scooping fish out, he also smashed one of the fish. #2 I decided to purchase some red cherry shrimp. They were looking nice and vibrant. Some of them looked to be buried. I asked if there were any buried (meaning has eggs), that I'd like them. I got home, and one of the shrimp had what looked like something kinda green under its tail. I thought, weird looking eggs. I waited for them to hatch.... And they just didn't. In fact, it started looking weird like spores. I looked it up and it was green fungus, aka, cladogonium! It will kill the shrimp if you can't get it under control and potentially kill your others if they're susceptible. I pulled her out and started salt dipping and treating with a fungicide. She lived alone in a little tank for weeks while I treated her. She started to look better... There was none left, so stopped treatment. Wrong. It came back. I tried to get rid of it again .. it came back again. Then two shrimp had it. I lost them both. #3 in the process of purchasing the cherry shrimp, there was some kind of hairy algae in the bag. When I scooped out the shrimp for release, a tiny bit went with them. And I mean miniscule. I never dealt with it before and didn't know what it was. I have now been battling hair algae for months. MONTHS. I can't seem to eradicate it no matter what I do. I've had to rip up my entire aquarium trying to get it all, and somehow I never do. Everytime I look in my tank, I see more wrapped around my plants and even in my substrate. I am SO OVER THIS #4 I purchased ember tetras, neons and gold neons. Everytime I'd get home.. one was dead in the bag before I even could put it in the tank. Now I know that neons are wacky little sensitive fish, but this was ridiculous. I'd take it back, and it would happen again..... And again. The ember tetras looked a bit funny. Then one started EATING the other one. I took Jaws and the injured fish back to the store. They put them in their tank and I received no refund. This was just a couple days past purchase. And within a few minutes, they both looked terrible. I can't imagine they made it :( meanwhile, three of the ember tetras at my house still looked bad. They had some kind of bacteria or something. I took them along as well in hopes they could tell me what it was. They tested my water and my water was perfect. The fish just don't seem to be very healthy or hardy. I treated with Pimafix and Melafix in hopes to cure them (I couldn't use anything else since I had shrimp). It didn't work. I did a massive water change and tried the next thing. I then had most of them die off. The cherry shrimp died too. I went to Petco which I did not want to do and to my surprise, they had ember tetras. I purchased a small school of them as well as more neon tetras. All my fish are now doing great. They are happy and the embers are even breeding! So I have all of these little adorable red fish fry swimming around in the back of my tank. And I'm STILL battling this hair algae. I'm beyond frustrated with it and don't know what else to do to get rid of it. I've tried everything short of emptying the entire tank which I am close to doing. It's in the water, so even when I think I got it all, surprise! There's more! The manager I worked with was a very nice man. I just wish the outcome of ALL of this was different and I could write a positive review. But I have no fish or shrimp even left from their store, the fungus wiped out my entire colony of female cherry shrimp, and I’m still battling hair algae. And when I think about their store, I just think about the little banjo catfish that was thrown on the floor like trash.

Negative experience: We purchased two fish from this store last weekend, we found both were sick when we got home. During quarantine, we lost the sailfin within two days and the hippo tang has ich. Don’t risk it and go to That Pet Place where they have a guarantee and the fish seem to be healthy and survive more than two days.

Fantastic experience: This is a cute little pet store... has a tag machine to make a dog tag for your dog which my Belgian Malinois needed. The store carries good pet supplies and has sales going on. Workers are nice, they have a grooming station as well... towards the back end of the store, they have a little nice selection of fish, parakeets, repitles, and bugs. My overall experience was good, and I even joined their rewards program.

Fantastic experience: I have not only set up my tank with them, but have bought 7 fish and some plants, which are all still thriving. The staff are so willing to help and give great information. I never feel rushed, will be coming in today to get even more fish!

Fantastic experience: Loved the place and Cliff and the other two gentlemen were very cool but cliff os very good with customer service and he was very knowledgeable about the store and the fish and I learned a lot from you was supposed to go back today but I don't know if I'll make it but I will be back there definitely nobody was rushing you he would stop and explain stuff to me about different fish and I'm sure the other guys are the same way but Cliff kept us busy we were there for about an hour and I had a lot of questions cuz I just started a fish tank since I was a kid and I learned a lot from him yesterday so did my friend is the one that told me about the place and we will definitely be going back.

Negative experience: Do NOT get your fish from here!!! They will sell you sick fish. It has happened to me and to my friends multiple times, it’s so sad. This place should be shut down.

Negative experience: I’ve been shopping here for a while and have mixed reviews. On one hand they have an amazing variety of good quality fish supplies and live plants, and a friendly staff that have a large variety of knowledge on the animals they sell. However their fish are not great. Ive had 6 fish I’ve bought from them die in less than a week after purchasing them. I’ve gone back to get a replacement once as well, the staff were very helpful with that, but unfortunately even the replacement fish died. I’ve checked the quality of my tank water myself, and had the store check as well and the water quality is fine. I have a variety of live plants and other fish that are doing well in the tank; I also do my best to not overfeed or underfeed my fish so I don’t think the issue is me. I had gone back recently hoping their quality of fish had gotten better since the bad batch, but upon inspection nothing had changed and all of their fish were still poor quality. I won’t be shopping here again. Pictures included are 3 of the fish that died. 5 guppies passed, as well as 1 tetra which was sold to me with one eye.

Positive experience: Nice place, the staff is friendly.

Negative experience: horrible store, some of the animals weren’t kept in the right environments. The rats were all piled up together stepping in piles of poop, when i went to go look at the bird in the cage it flew back it looked horrified and all i did was look at it. the lizard put for sale looked sick and the cage was not prepped properly for it. in the fish tanks there were multiple dead fish floating to the surface. the Axolotl and the sting ray are not kept in the right environments either, they’re not regular aquatic animals. not some small tank with some sand that doesn’t even fill up the tank floor. the rabbits cage was too small to hold that many rabbits of that size, those animals are too big to be confined together in a space that small. I watched a worker here handle taking a rat out of it’s cage and it was picked up by it’s tail and thrown into a box like some type of toy. the way the animals are treated and “taken care of” IS ABSURD AND DISGUSTING!!!!!!! if this was a pet shop for puppies and kittens it would have already been taken down. these are living beings too. have some shame and compassion??? i’m dissatisfied and disappointed. wow.

Negative experience: Worst pet store I’ve been in. It doesn’t look like they take care of half the animals there. They’re not even in appropriate sized tanks and cages. Specifically the bunnies. They have rather large bunnies in very small tanks that they can barely move around in and have multiple in one small tank. Also most of the lizards and fish look very unhealthy and some on the verge of death. Staff and owner should do a better job at caring for each animals specific needs because not only are you guys selling them for a high price, but you’re selling most, if not all, your animals sick at a high price for people to buy and they probably won’t even survive for someone to even enjoy their pet.

Fantastic experience: Small store, old school. Super knowledgeable people here, and healthy animals. When I came in, an employee was manually cleaning the stock of plants. I left with some plants just because I felt like they cared enough to inspect them. Since my purchase, the plants have been a fantastic aid in cycling my aquarium, and I am genuinely so excited to get it stocked soon. Will definitely be shopping here in the future. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism, in person and over the phone.

Their fish prices are a little high, but they sell higher quality fish in amazing health with great coloring. It's totally worth it! Highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Soo I really like this store. Lots of variety. Unfortunately their policy for livestock needs to be improved. I've lost multiple peices within the 24 hour window. My water quality was tested and found to have no issues. all they would do is give me a 15% discount on my next purchase. That's not a company that stands by their product.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few years to buy feeder crickets for my ts. I don't own any reptiles or fish, but am always impressed by the variety this shop has to offer. The store can get busy and crowded at times, but the staff is friendly and helpful - even if you only spend $10 every few weeks.

Negative experience: One of the worst pets shops I’ve ever seen even pet smart has bigger and set up enclosures for the animals what caught my attention most was the chinchilla because I have one, this chinchilla looked depressed in anxious they are social creatures and it did not have a friend in an entirely too small enclosure where it can’t even be active only has pellets no hay which is one of the main part of it’s diet and chinchillas are meant to be in colder temps. The birds enclosures were also too small as well and as well as the bunnies who had a to share a small enclosure with no room to hop around.

Fantastic experience: I love this store. I go here weekly for all the animal food and bedding. I bought a rabbit about 2 years ago and is still healthy and happy. Also bought an axolotl. They ordered it for me and explained how to properly transfer it to it's tank. I didn't know I could request specific pets and ordered online first. Shipping killed it after it stayed stuck in a warehouse for days. so when I came for pet food and told them how upset my son was they were able to get one. This was over a year ago and its doing great. I wish I would've asked and never ordered online. Their pricing was cheaper all together. They did hold it first to make sure it was healthy. I like to look at the animals and fish with my daughters whenever I go in and I never see any sick or dying. The staff is always friendly and helpful for all my questions. my daughter has a snake that wouldn't eat after we got it but they helped me figure out it needed a living mouse. The place we bought from never told us so I was trying frozen ones warmed up. They always pick the right size since it's growing and l want to make sure I'm getting the correct one.

Fantastic experience: I had the owner and worker cone out about 2 weeks ago to setup my saltwater tank. These guys are very friendly and professional. They have a lot of different animals in the store. Check them out I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: This place went above and beyond for us. I went in with no knowledge of fish care. They helped us with everything. If we went to a Pet Smart or something similar they would have just sold us fish and they would have been dead in a week. Instead they explained everything to us and suggested we setup the tank and come back in a week to have the water tested and then decide on fish, which is what we did. I highly recommend this establishment over any other place in the area.

Fantastic experience: I went in there with low expectations but was throughly surprised at the healthy fish. They have a decent amount of supplies for most common pets as well. Only thing that was a bit off was the smell, however when dealing with all kinds of live animals that is common. Over all was an excellent experience I got some new fish and shrimp will be shopping here again! By the way all my fish and shrimps are still alive and well!!! Support local and be kind :)

The employees also have a lot of knowledge on the animals they have, which isn't the case is most pet stores. They can also special order anything you want. I am always helped right away, they are always helpful if I have questions, and COVID safety precautions are always top of mind here. All the staff wears masks correctly & maintain social distance as much as they can.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family come here all the time since we have 10 fish tanks in our house, the people who work here are super nice but I mostly go there to see bailey, he is super friendly and knows what he is talking about on most fish, he has a story for most situations and that is what makes him awesome, I would highly recommend this place if you need anything for your tanks or reptiles

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I stopped in to see what they have to offer. Wonderful selection of fish and pets! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Owner. YOUR employee was the one saying the numbers, not us and our levels were not high. YOUR employees did the tests incorrectly by using their finger as the cap when testing the water and got a MUCH lower level when they did the tests correctly by my fathers instruction. I think YOU should teach YOUR employees how to better test the water. The first time I was there the one tank had a fish that was being bitten by other fish so I told YOUR employees and he went and grabbed the fish with his BARE HANDS and held it out of the water for at LEAST 30 seconds before putting him in a new tank. Also you DID NOT have that lion fish for a month because we were there every week at least once for over a month and NEVER saw him there and trust me we wouldve noticed bc that is the fish we were specifically looking for and I took pics of almost every tank every time we were there to show my brothers so I can show you the proof if necessary. I'd like to see you test your own water and see what you got considering you had at least 3 dead saltwater fish in your tanks last time we were there as well as several rubbing against rocks which indicates parasites. As I said before I will not be returning to your graveyard of fish

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff, they make you feel like you are talking to one your friends. And they have a great variety of saltwater fish and coral. Its my go to petshop.

Fantastic experience: I come here for my fish needs. They have everything from sponge filters to test kits. I take my kids to see the exotic fish from time to time. My kids enjoy watching the other pets as well. Something else to do in the City.

Negative experience: Look closely before you buy fish.....many have ich and will introduce white spot disease to your tank. And they use the common practice of selling fish at 50% mark up as freshwater fish, when they are indeed low end brackish or brackish water fish. Therefore the fish will stress out and die shortly after placing them in freshwater. Make sure you know what you're buying! It just like the pet stores that will sell you a baby red tail cat without telling you it will outgrow 150 gallons in about 2 1/2 years! It's a common practice used by shady pet stores everywhere! Ciao!

Negative experience: I give them props for being really friendly and welcoming though the dwarf hamster we just brought from this store is on the verge of dying. First night I got him, he was comfy in his brand new cage and I left to use the restroom, soon as I came back, there were blood spots mixed with pee in the cage. Called my family vet and he said that the hamster is most likely a breeder hamster with birth defects. Was told that to make the hamster as comfy as possible as he won't last through the weekend. Like i said, i enjoy the great atmosphere but what I did not enjoy was being sold a very sick pet. I'm an animal lover and to have to create a bond with my furry friend only for him to be on the brink of dying really breaks my heart. Unfortunately i won't be returning to this store at all. First impressions matter and my first impression with my first pet from this store is bad. Please check over any pets you buy from this store.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Store! Amazing Workers! My mom just took me 2 weeks ago to show me some snakes I really wanted and they are beautiful friendly snakes I held the one and the snake did not even mean no harm. The associates give great hello and facts about the snakes! The fish were amazing and healthy and the bearded dragons and more to that was healthy to! Just the prices are a little overboard but for the Mating snakes we saw 240$ that’s a good price for 2 snakes but I really don’t care about the price I care for the health and Beauty but....amazing place to come and get supplies or a reptile!

Fantastic experience: The last time I took my family into a pet store we unexpectedly came home with a second puppy. So good news for me...this store does not have dogs or cats. It is a great store specializing in reptiles, birds, and fish. Best part is that they have the most beautiful selection of coral and salt water life. They have tanks of amazingly beautiful coral farming on little plates. The different coral and amenities in black light produce amazing visuals. The sting Ray was very neat to watch swim around. The puffer fish was my wife's favorite. The staff were very friendly and were willing to tell us all about the different tank setups, coral, and fish. They were very knowledgeable and it is definitely a store I will take my family again...even if it is just to see the neat salt water life. I highly recommend the store.
