Positive experience: Aquarium inside a mall - Jelly fish, Star fish, Sharks, Stingray, Lion fish, Seahorses etc etc - You can touch and feel star fish - I think the prices are high and can get expensive for a family - Also not that big you will hardly spent half hour to hour to cover entire aquarium.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with kids . Every corner has something new to see . Lots of info on the walls there was a play area at the end and a gift shop but everything was expensive.

Fantastic experience: I love coming here with my young kids. Especially being able to have so many interactive experiences. I left here without picking up my pictures that I paid for. I want to acknowledge and really thank the incredible stuff for calling me personally on my cell phone to let me know… Lismarie call me multiple times and left me a voicemail. I couldn’t believe how proactive and caring she was that we left our photos behind . Lismarie and Elle really went above and beyond . This is a big aquarium inside an even bigger mall so to feel like we were really cared for was very special ! Thanks Lismarie and Elle

Positive experience: Hidden gem inside the American Dream Mall next to Lego Discovery center is this aquarium, it's not a big aquarium compared to the others but enough to entertain your little one, the concept and decorations of this place is inviting, we found so many sea species and colorful fishes, we live the aquarium tunnel and we spend a little bit time there watching big sharks and fishes, they also have small touch the fish area, the neon colors is so nice specially on the dark area, we took so ma y pictures inside as you can see, we enjoyed our time here but only took us couple of hours to see everything. It's clean and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: The aquarium is below the mall and can be accessed from an elevator. Two adult tickets cost about $78. The aquarium is small but they managed to pack a lot into it. There’s a space for you to touch anemones and a tunnel that goes through their largest tank. It’s mostly seeing the same areas but from different points of view. The tanks looked clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend going to check it out. We went on a weekend and it wasn’t overwhelmingly busy. During the week, it seems even quieter. They have a souvenir shop as well but it was a little pricey.

Positive experience: This was a lot bigger than I was expecting in a mall! It kept our two toddlers happy for ages - they loved all of the different areas, getting to touch small sea creatures and walking through the tunnel with the sharks!

Negative experience: Ripoff. Though it’s a nicely maintained facility with colorful displays, and several nice fish tanks, the price is pretty outrageous considering how little they have on display. There were, maybe, 4 very small rooms divided into tiny subdivisions for different type fish. There were no large tanks like a normal aquarium; just one moderate sized tank and several much smaller ones. You’re definitely stretching it to try to be there for more than 1 hour, so definitely not worth the price in my opinion. We left wondering what was supposed to be so great and couldn’t figure it out. It does not compare to any freestanding modern aquarium today. Perhaps the only nicely priced aspect of the day was the parking, if you don’t mind paying extra for mall parking, which I don’t get either. At any rate, our 5 and 2 year old grandkids definitely were enjoying the displays. As the grandparents, we were surprised and disappointed, expecting much more for the money paid. .

Positive experience: Our experience here was alright. NO CASH. I was hoping to see an octopus but there wasn’t one. They had little sharks, a couple of tunnels and a touching pool. At the end they had a little kids jungle gym thing before the gift shop. Really neat for a mall aquarium. For both Lego land and this was $120. Not bad.

Fantastic experience: Family of 4, 2 adults, 2 toddlers. We decided to go on Thursday 06/12 with pre-bought ticket at 10:30 am. It was early, the parking was empty and we got to the place in matters of minutes. There was absolutely no queue nor wait which was great. It was not busy so we could just explore the place at leisure and took our time. The kids were thrilled and the whole decor was stunning! It felt like being thrown into Finding Nemo’s movie! The tunnels are amazing and great photo opportunities! If prices would be more family-friendly, we might visit more. Total was $134 for the minimum admission.

Positive experience: For $33 bucks, I think this aquarium is incredibly overpriced. Should be at the most $20. What I did like and enjoy was the info session during feeding. Im giving it 3 straws because the employee Adam was so informative and engaging.

Negative experience: I pre purchased digital pictures. When we went to retrieve our pictures we were told that there is no one to print the pictures out. I asked the very uninterested girl at the front counter how are we to get the pictures and she said we can download them and print them out at home, she assumed that we have the ability to print out pictures at home. We have been trying to download the pictures for 7 days and they will not download. I have been trying to call Sea Life for seven days for assistance. I am on hold for at least 15 minutes each time before a recording comes on and tells me to try my call later. Why offer the option to pre purchase products that they cannot deliver on site as advertised and allow you to leave empty handed. I paid in advance for nothing.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, especially if you have kids. They have a vast collection of fish. The aquarium is beautiful. You can also experience a virtual reality video inside. I definitely recommend you to visit this place.

Positive experience: We took our kids to the Sea Life Aquarium and the LEGO Discovery Center. It was a fun experience with the kids — they absolutely enjoyed their time there! You can go through the entire Sea Life exhibit in about 45 minutes to an hour. After that, we headed over to the LEGO Discovery Center, which was also very creative and engaging, especially for our 1- and 3-year-olds. Parking was a bit tricky, but we were able to find a spot near the entrance. I was expecting a lot of walking, but to be honest, it wasn’t too bad. The mall itself was very vibrant and creative — it reminded me of some of the malls in the UAE. We only visited the Sea Life Aquarium and LEGO Discovery Center, which is about 25% of the mall. We’re hoping to go back again to explore more. I do want to add the exit the parking lot and to get to the highway was nightmare. It could be because there was a concert happening to the stadium. Otherwise, there are plenty of activities for both kids and adults. Definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: The Sea life at the American Dream mall is a great destination for people looking for a good indoor activity for a few hours. Although not very big, the aquarium has wonderful selection of fishes on display. Worth a visit!

Negative experience: I don’t think the fish here are being cared for very well… I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure a lot of the fish have diseases from improper care. I saw frayed fins and fish swimming upside down probably from swim bladder disease. And the sign that said that the sharks will sometimes eat other fish?? That’s not normal at any aquarium! It’s a sign that they’re not cared for very well!!

Positive experience: Went to Sea Life Aquarium for the first time today. Our experience was not what we expected and better than what we intended visiting. The aquarium is inside American Dream mall. Next to Legoland. If you are looking for a place to spend with your little, this is the great place to roam and explore. The different exhibits were good and there was plenty of fun photo opportunities when you find yourself almost immersed with different sea creatures. The area in itself wasn't too all and don't expect a large space, however great for an hour or so. Adults were $30, our little guy is under 2 years old and he was free. When you sign in, there is a time slot on your ticket you will follow before going into the elevator. Today's first aquarium visit was a great, small visit to oyr kid. It was nice knowing it is a relaxing activity to see at the mall. We will be back.

Positive experience: The park is really cute. I’d say the tickets are a bit pricey for what it is but I had a great time with my aunt. Take your time when walking through because it could go by fast.

Negative experience: Very expensive for very little. Very small place with very little to offer. 90 dollars for 2 tickets and we were done in less than 30 mins.

Fantastic experience: Had a fun time at SEA LIFE Aquarium in American Dream Mall! We got to see a variety of fishes and even witnessed a shark eating a fish in the exhibit. The sign on the glass said it's a rare event, so I felt glad, but also a bit sad for the beautiful fish, but hey! It's life! Had a great time there. It is also near Lego Discovery which is great and convenient!!

Fantastic experience: All in all: - very playful and beautiful - exciting activitiy for people of all ages - friendly staff - possibilty to sit and relax while being surrounded by sea creatures Bonus: It's located in the American Dream Mall. When you're done visiting the aquarium, it's worth checking out other places - plenty of food and shopping options available. I've been to other sea lifes before and every single one is really beautiful. This one in particular was really mesmerizing. You can either have a quick look and be done in 20 minutes or fully explore and even sit there for a while. There are different, playful and creative ways to look at the fish and even interact with them. Right at the beginning you are able to touch a starfish.

Positive experience: The aquarium was nice as a whole, nothing too grandiose or drawing, felt very forced in a sense to like "keep moving", but that could've just been me. And then unlike bigger aquariums they of course aren't going to have your bigger species either. I did really like though they let you pet the starfish and anemone and that in a certain section of the aquarium there was a vast structural underwater city section and that you could just chill there and observe. And at the very end before the shop there's a kids play area, kinda reminiscent of newer McDonald's play sections, but crowded with not much space to relax while kids play

Fantastic experience: I did not expect to enjoy this place as much as I did. It was the perfect length to take a small cold through. The staff were friendly and I loved the under the sea city, gave total bioshock vibes. The touch tank was also really interesting.

Negative experience: I took my child here. The little they have to offer is well presented but we were in and out of there in 20 mints including taking pictures and making small stops. The price doesn't justify the attraction. If you are looking for a better experience the one in Woodbridge mall has a bigger selection of animals in contrast to Sea Life.

Negative experience: I’m just wondering why does a 2 year old have to pay to visit this aquarium if 2 year olds don’t pay for Disney world what makes this place so different matter fact no other venue charged me for my 2 year old son it was a terrible experience and the aquarium is about the same size as my apartment but hey more blessings to sea life yall definitely will need them

Negative experience: My husband & I were excited to go for Easter weekend. we took the over an hour drive! we entered and we were walking around for about 20 mins! Realizing we were at the end already! Seriously ? it's a few large fish tanks with fish and 2 larger pools! That's it! we were in shock! Total waste of time & money! We went to an aquarium in another mall...I think Woodbridge... that was wayyy more entertaining! We were very upset with how plain and how small the aquarium is! Very disappointing!

Negative experience: The absolute biggest rip off, spent a nice amount of money to take my family. Only to see the same sting ray over and over again. The entire aquarium took less than half an hour

Fantastic experience: Thinking back to memories with my parents when I was young, I think I ended up enjoying the visit even more than my child did! I had a great time with my family. If you take your time looking around, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes. There are some great photo spots too, which made it even more enjoyable. There's also Legoland right next to it. If you buy a combo ticket, you can get it at a discounted price and spend more time there. I only visited the aquarium this time, so I feel a bit regretful about not checking out the rest!

Positive experience: My 9 month old seemed to have a good time. Getting into the American dream was a little annoying.

Positive experience: So many fish in the aquarium, sharks, anything you can think of. However, the guy said they were feeding the turtles, and we were so excited. We searched the aquarium top and bottom for these turtles they were feeding. There were no turtles. There was turtle signage everywhere, but no turtles. Not even an empty tank for them. Hope they are okay and well fed. But sharks were cool.

Positive experience: Amazing aquarium to visit in a mall. It wasn’t big but it’s worth visiting. The Aquarium itself had a good range of fish which was good. It was pretty cool they had the New York buildings in the tanks and they had some little sharks which was awesome. You also have the option to touch a coral which I did do and it was amazing. Our kids enjoyed it.

Positive experience: Its a nice place to bring the kids to. Brought my baby sister and she had so much fun! The only downside is that when it gets to crowded, it gets so hot down there! And with it being a tight space it can get a little claustrophobic. Recommend to go during the off season or off peak hours to get an enjoyable experience. Also ask for the junior Discover pack! It will keep everyone entertained.

Negative experience: I never write reviews, this is probably my first review ever. I love aquariums and love fish (any water animals). We were in the area so we decided to take my son and his friend. The aquarium wasn't very big. I took away two stars because there were several tanks with fish either dead or dying. One tank the fish were all in one corner and when we looked closer to see why, it was because they were eating another dead fish. Water quality doesn't seem to be great. When you get through the whole aquarium, at the end there is a little playground for kids. While I was sitting, waiting for my wife a small child had an accident all over the floor (number 1). The staff that was there couldn't leave and kept trying to radio someone to come clean it up, It took like 20 minutes for someone to come clean it. In those 20 minutes they left the playground open. Three or four kids ran through the urine in that time. That's why I took a third star. I think it would be a great aquarium if ran better and the animals were taken cared of better.

Fantastic experience: Went on a Sunday afternoon with my toddler. Takes about 1-1.5hours if your kid enjoys sea animals. Well-maintained exhibits and different varieties of sea animals clearly visible. You can also touch some sea animals. Recommend visiting this aquarium if you are in NJ.

Positive experience: Sea Life New Jersey Aquarium felt quite expensive for its size. We were surprised to find ourselves already at the exit, expecting there to be more to explore. There wasn’t much to see, which was a bit disappointing. However, we’re glad we tried the virtual reality experience—it was a lot of fun and well worth the additional $7. Unfortunately, the main admission fee didn’t feel justified for what the aquarium offers.

Positive experience: Great activity! It took a little more than an hour to walk through. There were many places to take pictures and some tanks had multiple vantage points so you could experience exhibit from different angles. We visited on a Monday afternoon so it was not very busy. There was no wait to enter. Some of the informational tablets were either missing or not working which was disappointing. There was also information posted around most exhibits and on walls between exhibits which was helpful. Tickets at the door were $29 and we felt it was worth it! Highly recommend for couples, families and friends!

They have some pretty cool fish, a black tip shark, and some stingrays. The exhibition where the fish swim are pretty cool and they designed it nicely. Good for a one time visit.

Positive experience: This aquarium is fun to visit, and great for little kids. But the price tag doesn't truly feel worth it for how small the adventure is at this Sea Life. I feel like it needs more things to earn the price tag. I would recommend this Aquarium, but only if you get the tickets cheaper online.

Positive experience: This is a good aquarium for kids 2-12 years old. I came as an adult and I was expecting a little more. The tickets are expensive for what is inside. It takes about 20 min to explore the whole place. However, they have a variety of fish and interesting information about their animals. The stingrays and sharks are the best. However, they had a dead shark hanging in there and it was pretty sad to see.

Negative experience: If I could give them a zero, I would. I’ve been buying the yearly membership since they open. Today I was shocked to find out that because they changed their policies on the website about the black out dates, it was my fault For not checking the website every time I visit and I had to pay if I wanted to get in. It is not my responsibility to go online every time I visit and check their blackout date. They’re supposed to send a message and if I already bought my ticket before that took place I should not be affected by it. Also some of the people that scan your ticket, they’re very rude. on top of that, they couldn’t even give me the courtesy since I’ll be with him since day one to let me go but my little one was screaming and crying to go in and they were like oh you have to leave. Them the place is not even worth it. Save your money.

Negative experience: I came across this place on TikTok, i was very excited. As it is winter and not there is not so many aquariums in my area. I have a 5 Month old baby and thought this would be the cutest experience with him. And for my partner, i as we love aquariums. So we booked for Valentine’s Day. The aquarium info says a 1hour time slot. My partner had the baby strapped to his chest and i the stroller. We took our time and extra at each exhibit and still managed to finish the tour in 14 minutes. There wasn’t a lot to observe, experience. For the price of $70 i don’t think it’s worth it at all. I would have rather went further to other aquariums. The price is way to steep for the small tour.

Fantastic experience: I put off going here for the longest time because I read the reviews and it said it was very small and not well maintained and so forth. I'm so pleased I went despite the negative things I read. It is a little on the small side but not the smallest aquarium I've ever been to. However it's very well laid out and well maintained. It was very clean and there is plenty to see. I particularly enjoyed the NYC shark and ray tank, by far my favorite spot there. I sat there in peace and admired it for a while. I would definitely go again if there was a discount or special sale . My only complaint is the cost of the tickets, for how small the aquarium was the price is just too high. I can pay the same price for a ticket to the big aquarium in NY by Coney Island.

Fantastic experience: It’s more fun than I expected but same as the ticket price. We purchased two tickets and it was 35$ plus tax. My kind loves it and there’s a section where you can touch the star fish and anemone, the water was freezing to be honest. My favorite part was the New York scene that’s Uber the water, pretty cool! Didn’t know that there are only couple bucks more to get a joint ticket with the Lego land otherwise I’ll take that. Was buying the ticket kind of without thinking and researching, a very spontaneous visit. You can definitely find other more affordable price buying ticket in advance online with reliable venders!

Positive experience: My family loves this place. We’ve gone there twice in a row for my son’s 1st and second birthday which happens to be on 1 jan. The mall is a definitely crowded on that day, however inside the aquarium felt much less crowded which is a good thing! This time, the place felt a little smaller than it did the first time, as in we were in and out in like 35 minutes. We still had a lot of fun and took great pictures for my son’s second birthday/new year. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you have little toddlers.

Fantastic experience: If you want to escape the mall for a bit, this is the place to go! We knew this was going to be a small aquarium but it was actually bigger than we expected and quite beautiful. It's very clean and well designed with various nooks and crannies to explore. You can pop your head up into a few tanks for fun pics. We saw Jellyfish, Stingrays, Seahorses, Coral, Sharks and a variety of fish. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and seemed to love working there. Loved seeing the NYC landmarks underwater with all of the fish swimming around them. Very cool.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed this aquarium. It was bigger than I thought. I went on a Saturday so it was a bit crowded but a weekday would be great. The jellyfish exhibit was fun. The sting rays and sharks were great too. Definitely check this place out if you're at the American Dream Mall. Also, the staff was awesome. While I was checking out the piranha, a very nice staff member came by and told me all about piranhas it was very interesting, and he was very passionate about them. I wish I had remembered his name. Great guy. Thanks piranha guy!

Fantastic experience: Totally recommend buying tickets online because we definitely overpaid purchasing them at the aquarium. We got there by 10am on a Thursday and enjoyed our time in the aquarium. Perfect indoor activity with our 18 month old!

Fantastic experience: Clean and fun. The aquarium is clearly well cared for and really sanitary! Has a very good amount of experiences, super friendly staff. Even the younger staff members are helpful and really nice. The Manager Sergio was very friendly and very interested in our experience, took a few minutes to discuss our visit. Great place for our very young daughter!

Positive experience: Small but beautiful aquarium. You can easily fit a visit into your time at the mall or come specifically for the adventure. Each exhibit had beautiful decorations inside the aquariums. There is a touch pool, walkthrough aquarium, jellyfish and sea horse area. Very enjoyable !

Fantastic experience: This place was a great place to visit with the family. We had a great time seeing all the different kinds of fish and what an experience never expected to see a huge aquarium inside a mall. This place is a total recommended place to go to.

Negative experience: I do not understand the high rating. It is very overpriced for how small it is. They charge for 2 year olds, how ridiculous is that!! Aquarium is small. Tanks are too crowded and fish look sickly. I saw one being eaten! I feel bad for the fish. Also, I was here with my teenager daughter and had an uncomfortable experience with a manager. He kept staring at my daughter and stayed close by for awhile. Really creepy and uncomfortable!!! I did not catch his name, I think his name tag started with J?? He was an older man, had gray-ish hair and beard. I thought going to an aquarium would be a pleasant experience but I thought wrong. I will not return here.

Positive experience: I actually love this aquarium but I had to take 2 stars off because it’s kind of insane that they charge so much for this - it’s so small! They did an awesome job with the space that they had and did an incredible city theme throughout. It’s great to have an aquarium closeby and hopefully they’ll make the prices more affordable in the future. Also, if you go, try to go during the week. You don’t want to go on the weekend when it’s ultra crowded. And please, for the love of god, if you’re an adult, be aware of your surroundings - don’t knock into children and don’t hog up exhibits taking pictures/selfies while literal children are waiting to see the fish.

Fantastic experience: Small but nicely done aquarium. The NYC theme was cute and at times funny. You can finish the aquarium in an hour or less. Perfect activity for families visiting the mall.

Fantastic experience: The place is very small but if you think about it it's inside a mall! You can visit it in 1 hour and a half if you take your time and walk with toddlers/kids. The place is incredibly well decorated. It has a great variety of fish. I was surprised to know they even give a digital picture with your family away for free. I was pleased with the visit. If you go after 3pm the tickets are slightly cheaper and it works because you have more than enough time to see everything.

Positive experience: We have been meaning to visit this aquarium for some time, ever since it opened. We love going to aquariums, and though this one did not necessarily disappoint, it did not impress us. It is nice but, small, and they have no coral. The aquarium is just several tanks and one large tank, that you can see from different angles as you zig zag through the displays. For the price you pay you would think they would have more to see. We paid extra to take the behind the scenes tour, and the tour guide did not know many of the answers to some of the questions that we were asking. The tour is literally them showing us things that we can see in other aquariums for free without paying extra, like the life support systems and how they feed the fish. The only stand out was that we were able to see where they quarantine the fish. We also saw their fish "clinic/morgue". This aquarium is ideal for those that are not big aquarium people as they have flashy displays but not much substance.

Fantastic experience: It's a very authentic place with tanks with rays, cozy playground for kids and instagramable atmosphere. There are also educational presentations held by representatives in person.

Fantastic experience: Great little aquarium for a rainy day. Even tho it was packed, waiting on line. Once inside, it didn't feel like it was.

Positive experience: This aquarium is located inside the mall. It's not very big like the others we have seen but it's definitely well maintained and clean. We had a good time over here with family. A really nice place for kids and family to hangout. And also it's a short term activity so you can combine it with any other small term activities like the museum, dream wheel, Nickelodeon park and so many other attractions inside the mall.

Fantastic experience: I purchased this aquarium's bundle tickets for Lego Land and Sea Life. The two-for-one deal made it worthwhile. As expected for a mall location, it wasn't huge, but it met my expectations. I visited with three kids aged 1 to 6, and they had a great time. On the next visit, I'd start with Lego Land and then explore the aquarium.

Fantastic experience: Really good break from the simulation inside American Dream. Great collection of fish and creative layout of space and NYC themed fish tank decor. We had a great time learning act the fish. We went during the weekday so it was less busy. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: Didn't expect an aquarium in a mall - but there it was. Apparently you can preorder a ticket online and select a time, but being that I wasn't even aware of this place existing, they have a few kiosks available to do the very same thing. The times were plentiful and it's understood why they do it. I picked a time 10 minutes later and by the time I was done, there was no wait time. You can also get a joint ticket with Lego Discovery along with this, but I just wanted the aquarium. You have to take the elevator down and in you go. The place is maze-like and the layout was pretty nice. There were more than enough exhibits of various underwater life. While it was a little larger than I initially anticipated, for the price I expected more. Depending on how slow or fast you are, it could take you 20 minutes to an hour to walk through the entire aquarium and look at everything. Even taking our time, we were done in less than 30 minutes. It was fairly crowded, but not ridiculous. Kids will like this and there is more than enough for them look at, including some interactive parts. Any staff I encountered were pleasant and friendly. There were photo op access tickets, but I didn't do anything with it to comment on it here. While I do understand why they charge what they charge, it is a little much. I've been to larger stand alone aquariums that were either equal in price or actually less. The mall does try to present itself as 'high end', so the price probably should be expected. If I'm going to spend that much, I'd rather go to another aquarium honestly. I'm not cheap, but I did expect more for what they charge. At the end, you're taken back up in the elevator into the gift shop and then into Lego Discovery before you're completely done and able to leave. Again, understandable on why they do it this way and they wouldn't be the only ones do have that tactic. In a mall with plenty and plenty to do, this is just one more thing. Not a bad attraction to have around. This aquarium is 4 stars as an overall - but 3 stars due to the price. Personally I did it and don't plan on doing it again. If I want to go to an aquarium, I'll go to others that frankly have more value for the price.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take your little ones. Usually takes about an hour to go through the whole thing. Next to the lego store as well if you want to visit that after you are done. Strongly recommend it. Season passes are available as well and worth it you plan to go even no more than two times.

Positive experience: This was a very pleasant experience! The amount of space and ways you can look at the fish was so beautiful, I loved looking at all the fishies, nobody checked my ticket so I’m not sure what that was about, as me and my friend were leaving down the elevator this worker got annoyed that we went the wrong way and gave us the most dirtiest look instead of maybe saying, “hey guys you can go down that other side” but no, they gave us such an annoyed look and rolled their eyes, we apologized and went the other way but that really caught me off guard.

Positive experience: We had a lovely experience in this aquarium. The exhibits are well planned and staff is friendly. The exhibits are mostly suited for toddlers as they are at eye level for them. We visited with older kids ( 10-12) so we could go through all the exhibits in about 1 hour. The Lego land and sea life combo tickets are totally worth it, it’s cheaper during early morning (10-11am), included digital prints of photos and wait times are less.
