Negative experience: Nothing bad about the staff. But nonetheless, a restaurant with a giant fish tank in it that apparently gives it an excuse to charge $30-$50 for subpar meals worth $12-$18. Seriously, take my advice… enjoy the aquarium, and then find a nice restaurant down town. You will be disappointed at the aquarium restaurant.

Fantastic experience: Holy jeebus christem. The food here is absolutely fantastic. If the steak was a human being, we'd be making out YESTERDAY. Jessica was amazing to us and checked in often making sure we were all taken care of. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all get like. 13 or 14 stars from me. I go through the whole aquarium FOR the restaurant. Yummy yummy uwu

Positive experience: The food was very affordable and large portion sizes however we did have to wait to be seated and it seemed understaffed. The tank was very nice but the decorations only go halfway up the room.

Fantastic experience: Our recent visit included both the Aquarium and the on-site restaurant. The food we ordered was better than a fast food seafood restaurant, although, the menu did include some pictures of some better high-end choices. Our waitress, Grace, was very polite, demonstrated she was a "people" person, and was attentive in checking back throughout our meal. The room was a bit chilly and, I enjoyed watching the window displays within the restaurant. There were some very impressively sized fish. Lastly, the entire building smelled like an aquarium, but that was to be expected. Overall, it has earned five stars from us.

I tried the crab and shrimp dip. It comes with tortilla chips and garlic bread. Tasty! Overall pleasant experience. Seated on time for my reservation. Excellent service. Would come back!

Fantastic experience: Enrique was a wonderful server, very attentive and helpful. We got the castaway combo meal and split it between two people, it was more than enough food and delicious. The queso was delicious!

Positive experience: If you like to watch fish swim while eating fish, this is your place! This place and the aquirium are owned by a restaurant group so they know how to make good food. Atmosphere definitely adds to the experience.

Fantastic experience: We went to the mermaid show for my daughter's birthday and the only thing that impressed us more than the performance was the food and our server Grace. She did a great job making it a special day for the birthday girl...highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We thought dinner was going to be a loss due to our first waitress. (Never brought our drinks or appetizers and was just acting really weird). The manager went above and beyond. Not only did she make sure we got everything we ordered, she comp-ed the appetizer and the deserts. They had to send the first waitress home and a new one was assigned. But the manager went above and beyond anything we have seen anywhere I. A very long time.

Fantastic experience: We wrapped up our family's aquarium visit with lunch at the restaurant. We’d booked a table in advance, but the wait was short regardless. The experience was excellent, and our server, Makenna, was outstanding. The food was decent, but with Denver’s wealth of dining options, I wouldn’t choose the aquarium just for a meal. It was good, though not exceptional compared to other local restaurants.

Fantastic experience: I loved coming to Downtown Aquarium Restaurant. The atmosphere has you feeling like you are dining in a coral reef. The food was delightful. It is a bit expensive, but if you are looking for a fabulous evening I would highly recommend. Our server Jessica made specially sure to take care that my order did not contain any foods I'm allergic to.

Fantastic experience: Came here with the family from out of state. This is a restaurant right at the end of the aquarium visit. Didn't have high hopes as it's not a main brand place. I was thoroughly impressed. All my kids, including my wife, finished their food. The food had good taste and you can tell someone back there is making quality food. Food was affordable and a nice, calm atmosphere. It's much quieter than most other places. You can watch the fish do laps while you eat their cousins.

Positive experience: The food was pretty good, service was a bit slow but nothing too bad, the hosts could be a bit friendlier.

Positive experience: Obviously good atmosphere because you are in the aquarium, however the food really isn't great and not worth the price. Below average for any seafood place in my opinion. For the restaurant, work on the sushi rice, it seemed hard like it's been sitting for an hour or two, nothing like good sticky sushi rice.

Fantastic experience: The food is amazing! Certainly better than anything you typically get from an aquarium or zoo. Our server, Liz, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Just be sure to order the lava cake when you sit down (it takes 25 minutes to bake).

Fantastic experience: Jessica was great! She was friendly, offered suggestions and different options to accommodate our requests. I asked her for a refill and not only did she bring it, she noticed the color was off and took the time to chance the syrup and make sure it was correct before she brought it out. She was great!!

Fantastic experience: Oh my! I had the steak, coconut shrimp, and lobster tail with asparagus and mashed potatoes! The mango sauce for the shrimp was just so scrumptious! One of the best meals I've had! The crab cake appetizer was very good too!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed our experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. Angelina was great. She was attentive had a great smile and did her job wonderfully. The food was terrific. Highly recommend eating here. Especially if visiting the Aquarium. Well worth it. The Gator tacos were so good. The Gator was soft and tender. Far better than I expected.

Fantastic experience: The Aquarium Restaurant food and service were FANTASTIC! Our server, JESSICA, was so patient with our tired kiddos and quickly shifted gears for us to get our food to go. The manager was also so friendly, checking in on us and helping Jessica get everything we needed to enjoy our meal in our hotel room. Fantastic experience: First time dining here. Just was welcoming. Our server Jordan was attentive and Pleasant. We started with the cheese curd appetizer and they were delicious, homemade! I ordered the sirloin and it was tasty. My date ordered the chicken alfredo and stated it was good with the right ratio of pasta to sauce for them. We sat next to the glass and were able to enjoy the fish.

Our waitress, Jordyn, was friendly, attentive, and really added to the positive vibe. The food was delicious—especially the catfish, which was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with their homemade tartar sauce (seriously, it was so good!). A great place for both the atmosphere and the food. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Only positive, you can sit by the tanks and watch the fish while eating. Otherwise, very disappointed. We ordered a couple of "martinis" and they were so sweet it was like drinking kool aid. We got the combo appetizer, the shrimp dip was good, but everything else felt like it sat under a warmer for a while. The service wasn't good. Skip!

She was friendly and knowledgeable and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. She’s a gem!

Fantastic experience: Alexa did everything she was asked of. always checked on our table making sure we had everything we needed. She was even respectful while walking around the table placing lunch for everyone, as far as the food goes, it was pretty good I had a double burger, while everyone else had Cajun combo, shrimp and chicken Alfredo, louisiana Cajun pasta, grilled chicken burger. Food was brought out nice and hot, drinks filled as soon as the cup was empty, even the manager came to our table to greet us, 100% good service.

Fantastic experience: Great experience dining here in May. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. With massive, wall-sized fish tanks in the dining area, it was a really unique and relaxing way to enjoy a meal. Our server Alex was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and offered great tips (both on the menu and our overall experience at the aquarium). Between the cool ambiance and great service, it was a really memorable evening!

Fantastic experience: We ate in the aquarium bar today, and it was so great. The atmosphere is relaxing like an underwater paradise. The Cajun jambalaya and veggie lettuce wraps were both delicious, and Jordyn our server, was really friendly, efficient and prompt. An overall great experience.

Fantastic experience: Our waitress, Brisaidy was amazing! And the food was incredible. The music is a little loud for a family atmosphere. And we ask the hostess if we could move to be near the fish tank & she said she couldn’t cause the waiter was not there - 2 mins later the waiter showed up And we asked Brisaidy if we could move to another open table for 8 & she asked the hostess & was told those tables were reserved. We had reserved tables also & were disappointed that our view was the wall. Food & our waitress were amazing!

Positive experience: Our server Kylee was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. Food was really good and came out timely. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because it feels a bit crowded since we were seated at the middle tables.

The food was good, a little pricey but you are here for the experience. They did offer to let us wait for a table right next to the fish tanks but even the booth we got had a good view of the fish!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere of the oceanic scenery environment was delightful and delectable at the same time. Alexa was the one that made it even more delightful and delectable. She has brought the ocean like atmosphere to life. She did not have the voice of a robot Alexa, but a voice of a singing siren ready to give us the most amazing, beautiful, delightful and delectable experience possible. Positive experience: We ordered the crab cakes appetizer. The waiter brought us “crab” mixed with breadcrumbs thrown on top of some kind of sauce. Pretty sure it was imitation crab by the taste of it, and it certainly wasn’t in cake form. The portions of the meals were decent and the food wasn’t horrible. But for the price, I was expecting the food to be fantastic as opposed to “not bad.” They also use paper straws, which is annoying. The music was super loud and our waiter was very soft-spoken so that was another annoyance. It’s fun to go for the atmosphere, but in my opinion it’s not worth the price.

Fantastic experience: Great Dinner! We. Don’t make it downtown often and have always wanted to try dinner here! We’re sure glad we did. Great food and great hospitality. The employees made us feel so welcome. Our server, a tall gentleman was quick and informative. The manager checked in on us every step to the way. Can’t wait to come back! Make sure you try ahí tuna nachos!

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and excellent food. Jambalaya was some of the best I've had outside of Creole Country. A bit on the pricey side, but to be expected Victor, our server, did an awesome job overall! Great place to go to after visiting the aquarium.

Fantastic experience: Charlie was amazing. I wasn’t really hungry as me and my daughter were walking by and we decided to eat because she was hungry. Then she ordered a pasta and told Charlie that we will share. And the pasta were served in two bowls separated for us! And as we ordered dessert at the same time he timed it out for us to enjoy it accordingly. Appreciate your kind and thoughtful service and looking forward to come back again for the food and service and all.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I come here after work on a regular basis. There is a surprisingly tasty and inexpensive happy hour menu that we eat off of. We like to eat the quesadilla, the cheese curds, and recently tried and enjoyed the crab dip. Drinks are cheap and we get to watch some fish while we eat! Jessica was a wonderful server, she knew what was on tap when I asked and checked in with us frequently.

Fantastic experience: We originally had Mother’s Day reservations at a different restaurant and we were not happy with that restaurant. We called Aquarium at 1pm and arrived at 2pm and they immediately seated our party of 13 in the ballroom! Staff was fabulous! Thank you Annie and Carla. This will be our new family holiday tradition!

Fantastic experience: We decided to make a reservation here for Mother’s Day Brunch. Our waitress Brisaidy was absolutely amazing! She constantly checked up on us and made sure we were taken care of. She was extremely friendly and personable which made our Mother’s Day brunch even better! The food was also SO GOOD. The roast beef was a favorite at our table as well as the toffee cookies! We are definitely coming back!
