LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium

Fantastic experience: It was an interesting place to visit. A lot of reptiles and fish to see. I like how the handlers would take the reptiles out to give us a close look and they had a lot of information about them.

Fantastic experience: We have visited the Reptarium before across the street and couldn’t wait to visit the new home for the reptiles and the fulfillment of the founder’s dream. He must be smiling down from Heaven to see how awesome and amazing the new Reptarium is today. Everything about it was perfect….clean, friendly, so much staff offering knowledge and “touch time”. Loved the new jellyfish exhibit and the 2 toed sloth and probably Elvis was our absolute favorite. I held a big snake!

Fantastic experience: My family and I had such an amazing time at LegaSea! There is no place like it in the world. We did the private tour with Jay and he was awesome. Unlike other places, every animal has a personality, has been professionally trained and it makes for a unique and incredible interactive experience. You get to touch, hold and interact with unbelievably unique animals. Even if you’re scared of some reptiles, go, learn and realize how amazing these creatures are! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and worked hard to make sure everyone had an awesome experience. Everything was so incredibly clean and well run. We traveled from South Carolina and will probably find a way to make it back !

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome! So great to see how much the place has grown from the last time we were there. The whole family had fun. We got to pet the sting rays and hold lots of snakes!

Fantastic experience: I brought my son here for his birthday. He enjoyed the experience and was happy to get a hold a turtle and to pet the rainbow snake. Staff members were very informative and nice. General admission tickets were a little pricey for the overall "general admission" experience, but overall, this is a nice little place for the kids.

Fantastic experience: been waiting an entire year to go to the new location and it was well worth it! my brother went before me with his kids and my sister went after me with her kids. each of us with our children loved the experience they provide. I would definitely go back again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been following Brian Barczyk’s YouTube channel since I was in high school; I’m 26 now and visiting The Reptarium has always been a dream of mine. Today, that dream finally came true, and it couldn’t have been on a more special day. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like family. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested when I shared my love for reptiles, including stories about the ones I own and the ones I’ve always wanted to see up close. To my surprise, they overwhelmed me (in the best way) by letting me hold nearly every holdable reptile they had! As I walked around, they continued bringing me new animals to see and interact with—including the incredible albino alligator! I even got the chance to feed the sloth! They answered every question I had, and the entire visit was filled with laughter, smiles, and unforgettable moments. This experience was nothing short of amazing. I truly felt like part of the Reptarium family. To the entire staff: you are amazing. Thank you for making this dream come true. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic experience: I went with my granddaughter, and there were animals that were not easy to come across. There were various animals that could be touched, so we all had fun. My young granddaughter especially had more fun. I would like to thank the people who created this facility.

Fantastic experience: This place is so much fun for adults & the kiddos! it has a huge selection of lizards,snakes,spiders,fish, even a exotic mammals & 2 headed snakes & turtles! The fish tanks are clean, huge & easy to capture pictures. They also have STINGRAYS!! You can touch them & some days even get into the tank & swim with them! This place is the best place for anyone Interested in a LEGASEA adventure!!

Fantastic experience: When I called to check if they had availability because I was having an issue with buying tickets online, the staff member I spoke to was very friendly. When we arrived there today, every staff member we encountered was super informative and friendly. My two nephews LOVED getting to touch so many things while visiting! They LOVED the aquatic section more than reptile. They’re even planning for aquariums and stingrays they can swim with when they get older hahahah Way better than Sea Life. Well worth the money we spent to go! My highlight for me was the mining station they have :)

Fantastic experience: We had a great visit! My son got to hold a corn snake and pet a sting ray. The place is clean and well kept with lots of beautiful animals. The staff was very friendly.

Fantastic experience: My grandkids really enjoyed interacting with all of the different reptiles here. The staff was very friendly and helped to make the visit very exciting. I loved the expansion from the previous location. And the price to enter was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place for all ages.

Fantastic experience: Took my 7 year old nephew from Georgia who loves alligators. The price was reasonable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They were exceptionally polite when correcting the behavior of guests as well so not to irritate the animals.

Fantastic experience: My family and I had a fantastic time at the Legasea! It met all of my expectations and was even better than I thought it would be. The animals were awesome and all of the cages/tanks were very clean. The staff was very professional and friendly. Holding the animals and feeding the rays was a lot of fun. We are definitely going back!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time with the kids. It is a very interactive place with a lot of animals for the kids and adults to hold pet or just see up close.

Negative experience: The place was nice and the staff were very friendly. But honestly, it's just the cost for me. They are charging almost as much as the Detroit zoo but for an hour or two of entertainment. Most of the aquarium was good but the bigger reptiles were just hiding away the whole time. Really good idea, wrong location, you need more space.

Positive experience: This was very fun and I would recommend this for kids for sure. The staff was very friendly and seemed somewhat knowledgeable. Although a young guy was letting kids hold the turtles over the water and the kids loved it but there was no place right there to wash hands afterwards. Turtles do carry salmonella and it can spread very fast. I did notice a sink area in the back by the sting rays but if the kids are aloud to hold the turtles there really should be a more accessible wash station right there. We learned the hard way when my son was younger and owned a red eared slider. The place looks great

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing time here today! Its appropriate for all ages. I love how the staff bring out the different animals and allow you to interact with them. All the staff seemed very knowledgeable and everyone was super friendly!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful display of reptiles and fish! Loved celebrating my birthday afternoon there. Well cared for facility and animals in its care.

Negative experience: I recently visited LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium and walked away incredibly disappointed. It seems like the focuse is on being a flashy attraction rather than meeting the animals' actual needs. Most of the enclosures are too small, lack proper enrichment, and don't offer the basic necessities these animals require to thrive. For example, the crested gecko enclosure was bare, with no hiding spots up high, something they naturally seek out. The snakes and larger lizards had barely enough room to move, and the tortoise and capybara setups didn't resemble anything close to a proper habitat. The armadillo's enclosure was especially upsetting, no deep substrate, no enrichment, just a sad display of neglect. The aquarium side wasn't much better. The tanks were sparsely stocked, and the water in the saltwater tanks was extremely cloudy. One centerpiece of the aquarium, a massive cylinder tank, had just 3 silver-dollar-sized jellyfish in it. Two were stuck on the bottom, which upset my 6-year old. If you're looking for a place that respects it's animals and provides a meaningful experience, skip this one. Instead, head to the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium or the Detroit Zoo reptile house - both offer far better care and a much more worthwhile visit.

Fantastic experience: Talk with the workers and learn a lot about the animals and fish varieties. Some can be petted. Take your time walking through. Lots to see.

Fantastic experience: Really great experience overall. Very friendly staff, lots of opportunities for interaction with the animals (touching, holding, watching feedings), much bigger place than I expected from the outside. Can very easily spend multiple hours here if you love animals.

Fantastic experience: I can’t begin to express how incredible this place is. Walking in we immediately saw two workers helping people hold this giant snake. After checking in we hopped right in line and got to hold her. There are an insane variety of snakes, lizards, turtles and other reptile and creepy crawlers in the first section of the museum. I thought that would be it until we went into the aquarium and oh my word. Thousands of fish, a sting ray pool (where you can pet them!), a shark tank, jellyfish, clown fish just dozens of different sea animals. There about 3 sections of this place - reptiles, and then 2 aquarium sections. We got to hold an abundance of animals, more than i thought. Snakes, pet an iguana, hold a few lizards and 2 giant snakes. The staff was so incredibly friendly (shout out to Andrew, Tyler and Reece!). And all of this for $25 a person?! Way worth it. I’d rather go here than the zoo. You can tell the people here invested and love their jobs. Cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: My husband watched Brian and his crew for years with our children and myself. Getting to see some of these animals in person that we've watched online was fantastic. So many holding and petting opportunities made it that much better. We are planning on going again sometime! We also got to meet Mike who was very kind to stand around talking with us and taking a photo with us.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! Was so awesome to be able to touch and hold many of the reptiles and other hands on experiences. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and also very patient with younger kids with lots of energy and questions!

Fantastic experience: I was extremely pleased when I went. All the animals looked healthy and calm. All the employees were knowledgeable and pleasant. Also, employees were often taking the animals out of the cages and allowing us to touch and even hold them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Positive experience: First time here with my child. It was a super fun and unique experience! It gets busy so I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Lots of cool and unique animals, not just reptiles. The aquarium is awesome, super cool. It's big. They have a lot of different animal shows. They bring out some of the reptiles so you can hold and touch them. For an extra fee, you can also go in with some of the mammals they have there. My only complaints, they charge an additional $30 for extra animal encounters, which is outrageous! Also, they literally only give you a minute to spend with the animals you paid an extra $30 to interact with. I wish they'd allow more time or lower their prices because $30 each animal for only 60 seconds of time is way overpriced. It's clean. It's big. Workers are pleasant.

Negative experience: I was highly conflicted in my interpretation of this place. I was impressed by their dedication to showing off their animals. Truly, the staff seemed very dedicated. Unfortunately, the zookeeper in me couldn’t help but pick out every single thing that was wrong about this place. And there was plenty wrong about this place. Many of the animals, namely the reptiles, seemed confined to small enclosures with a serious lack of complexity. The monitor lizards especially, which are known to be highly active species, were confined to especially small enclosures. One of their largest, an Asian water monitor approximately 6-7 feet long, was confined to an enclosure that was, at the largest, a mere 10 x 10 feet. Another notable issue was the care in which certain animals were kept. Certain animals had access solely to water and nothing else. Animals like their capybara and a number of their mid-sized to large tortoises lacked not only enrichment, but basic needs like substrate and even the specialized heating and lighting that these animals require. Most notable of these was an African spurred tortoise which had an entire room to themself but lacked substrate, lighting, heat, a soaking dish, and was housed on a concrete floor. All animals lacked hide opportunities, meaning they could not get out of the view of the public when they needed a break from public view, including all mammals present in the building. Several of the animals present also were able to be touched and even picked up by the public without staff present, leading to safety and welfare concerns for the animals. Of the aquarium, many of the tanks appeared underkept and sparse, with some sporting serious algal growth and especially foggy water in tanks that we were assured were already balanced. Issues did not stop at animal husbandry and welfare either. Throughout the experience, there were numerous concerns for staff and public safety. Most common was the issue of security regarding animal containment. Several doors, including those on reticulated python and monitor lizard enclosures, provided enough access for guests to stick fingers and other extremities into the enclosures. Another notable issue with safety was a certain tank labeled as a touch tank which contained a Fly River, or pig-snout turtle, which is a turtle known for being aggressive towards people. There seemed to be several tanks like this, including one with a large alligator snapping turtle with a barrier height of only 3 feet, allowing children to easily reach into the tank alongside an animal that can crack bone with its jaws. Regarding keeper safety, there was serious issue when dealing with large snakes and lizards as well as the alligators. These enclosures left little room for keepers to work around these dangerous animals, with only 3-4 feet of clearance space between the floor and the ceiling of the enclosure. This was especially hazardous when viewing the way keepers fed their large albino alligator, which keeper hand-fed without tongs or any protective equipment. In summary, many of the animals are kept in less than ideal conditions than the standards described for the species and there is a lack of serious safety concern for both guests and staff. While all of what was stated above was observed, it is the opinion of this visitor that they revisit care standards and are held responsible for the serious potential harm they pose to their animals, their guests, and their staff. 1 star.

Fantastic experience: You thought Disney staff was friendly!? The staff here are incredible! So patient, friendly, and knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I took the kids and I won't lie, it brought a tear to my eye seeing all the animals Bryan loved and seeing his dreams come to life! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to any animal you wanted to see or handle... 10/10 would go again! And prices are reasonable especially when the kids wanted to pet or hold Loved our visit.

Positive experience: We had such an amazing time here! My boyfriend and I went for a date night so definitely not just for little ones. The staff was very knowledgeable and we were surprised by how many of the reptiles we were able to touch or hold. The stingray touch pool was so cool and such a unique experience for me. In my opinion the price of the admission ticket is so worth it! However, I will say I dont think our Capybara meet and greet was worth the price. It was cool to touch him but for the $30 per person price point I expected a bit more structure, education, or support in taking pictures or something of the sort. The staff was still so kind during the interaction though! Absolutely nothing bad to say about them.

Fantastic experience: Was everything i expected and more. The information ever employee gave us about the animals were amazing. Being able to interact with some of the animals were life changing, my kids have not stopped talking about the animals they got to touch and see. Can't wait to take my kids to see this place again!

Negative experience: I didn’t realize there were animals/mammals aside from reptiles and fish. Seeing the monkey bear, sloth, armadillo and tortoise in a glass enclosure with bright lights in a super noisy echoey environment is pretty cruel. The tortoise had no shelter, digging space nor place to hide. There is also no information about where each of the animals, reptiles and fish come from/are native to. would be nice to have some more education. The fish tanks are very murky and they don’t make the kids wash their hands prior to dunking them in the water with fish and stingrays.

Fantastic experience: Hidden gem worth the price. The workers were all very friendly and constantly taking reptiles out for kids to pet and hold. The stingrays were a definite favorite.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time visit and I have to say I was very impressed! All of the staff that we encountered were incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the animals. It was really cool that they took random reptiles out and you were able to touch and hold them. Very great experience and will be returning!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVED LegaSea! We drove from Indianapolis, IN and it was very worth it. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the reptiles and fish—they made the experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me was the hands-on interaction; it was so much fun getting up close with the wildlife. It’s clear that the animals are well cared for and loved. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves marine life and reptiles. Can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic experience: My youngest loves Sloths. When we found out that the Reptarium not only had one, but that you could do a meet and greet, the decision was easy. Birthday trip to meet Lilo the sloth. Worth every penny! The staff are so nice and on the day we went, my daughter was able to hold or pet several lizards/snakes. Beautiful facility! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Beautiful aquarium tanks!! My kids loved the variety of water creatures, and as always, the Repptarium side was a hit. We liked reading the animals’ names and getting to hold a few. The staff were personable, knowledgeable, and happy to help us out when we had questions.

Fantastic experience: Omg we had a blast!! Alexa you made us feel like it was Disneyland!! Every staff member we had interactions with offered us information about the animals, fun quirks or behaviors, several opportunities to touch or hold a variety of animals as well. I am a huge animal lover and felt the calm and peace and love that went into this place. The vlogs don't come close to how it feels when you are really here. There really is no way to capture the awe. Thank you to everyone for a day to remember!!

Fantastic experience: Great price. Enthusiastic staff that are friendly and knowledgeable. Love that they have random animals out and about and available to hold or pet. Clean atmosphere. Loved the stingray's. Wide variety of animals and fish. My son and myself really enjoyed it. We'll be going back for sure.

Fantastic experience: We had so much fun there! My son, who used be terrified of snakes, came hold and handled our snake for the first time after visiting. It was very educational, everyone there was so kind. I especially loved the person (with blue hair) feeding one of the fish who showed us how they spit water at the bugs to shoot them out of the air, they were so friendly. Everything seemed clean and well kept. The gift shop was also surprisingly reasonably priced. The only "complaint" we had was that the encounters were a bit overpriced considering what you got out of them. Spent $30/person for about 5 minutes seeing an animal. The kids enjoyed it but not really worth the price. We went around the entire thing twice and spent a little under two hours there. Definitely worth the entry price.

Fantastic experience: I can't begin to describe the amazing experience we had while visiting today (though kinda bittersweet as we wish Brian would've been around ). When we first came in we were greeted right away by Adam with Marshmallow.. I faced my fear and held a snake! Adam was so great and gave us so much information on the different snakes in the building. Jenny was also sweet as pie and chatted with us multiple times making us feel so welcome and comfortable. There were a couple guys today at the stingray area who were so kind and informative as well- talked me into feeding the stingray (another fear conquered!). Your staff is AMAZING - smiles from everyone and everyone was SO kind. The enclosures are beautiful and big, tons to see and experience, and such a clean facility. Props to ALL of you - great job! Lori- I am so happy for you.. we will continue to support the location and bought a sticker of Brian at checkout! Jay- we saw you and almost fainted... next time we see you and you aren't busy, we want an autograph!

Fantastic experience: We got there when it opened, and bought tickets at the desk. All the staff is amazing! Very friendly, easy to talk to yet professional. Staff was always there to answer questions and offer information about whatever you were looking at but not in an intrusive way. We loved getting to interact with all they brought out. We can't wait to bring friends and family for a visit to share this experience. We have watched on YouTube from the beginning so seeing all of this in person is next level. Big hugs to all of you for making all this happen.

Fantastic experience: Took my 6 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loved the experience. She was able to hold so many of the creatures the keepers were very helpful explaining each one. We also paid the additional fee for the private encounter with the sloth and it was totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: Our family loves aquariums so we've visited some of the most famous ones (Shedd, Belle isles, Ripley in Toronto, etc..) and while they are all lovely NONE of them comes close to the hands on, knowledgeable, breathtaking experience we had here today. There truly is a difference when the Staff and team LOVE the animals they work with. I actually felt like we connected with the reptiles and aquatic animals. What an amazing gem we have in Shelby township!!!

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would!! A new favorite for our family. At first I was a little worried at how much we would get out of it for the price seeing as our son is not even 2 yet. But it was so worth it! You can tell how loved and happy all of the animals are! Even the fish were super interactive! All of their enclosures are very clean and bright. Every few minutes an employee will pull out one of the reptiles and you can interact with them! It was an amazing experience. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been come to the reptarium for many years, this was our first time at legasea aquarium and it did not disappoint, the staff was amazing and informative. The interacting with the reptiles and the touch tanks is by far the best part.

Fantastic experience: We drove nearly 7 hours to get to LegaSea. It was completely worth it! My family has been watching Brian Barczyk on YouTube since before he changed the channel name from SnakeBytesTV. The facility stunned, but the staff shines brightly, too. Everyone was so polite and encouraged us to interact with a critter every chance we had. Mike is so down to earth and took the time to talk to me for nearly 10 minutes. I've kept reptiles for over 20yrs, so this place was a must visit. We plan on making this an annual family trip. If you're thinking about going, just do it. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable staff and facility. My toddler was perfectly behaved for an hour and a half because of the amazing interactive experience. Even got to see them feed a anaconda!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to the first Reptarium multiple times and just loved it! I finally got to visit the new aquarium/Reptarium and I’m just so proud of what it’s become! So many interactive parts to the experience. I just loved petting the stingrays and snakes. They had such great and knowledgeable staff. I can’t wait to show my support as the years go on. I highly recommend stopping in.

Fantastic experience: Update: We came back for the LegaSea Aquarium and it's even more amazing!!! Soooo much more space and even more animals. I could've spent all day there. Everything i said before about the staff was just as true today as it was a year ago- super nice, friendly, and helpful. This place was absolutely amazing. A hidden gem with some of the most beautiful animals I've ever seen. The staff were super friendly, nice, and respectful. You can see, pet, and even hold some amazing creatures. Easily worth the price of admission. Go check it out if you haven't yet. I will definitely go back again.

Fantastic experience: Me and my child had a great son and Dad night after mom was out with her friend. It was fantastic, and we will definitely be back. The entire staff is amazingly friendly and very engaging. They brought out snakes for us to touch, along with turtles and talked to us about the exhibits, and you can touch Stingrays and fish!. 100% recommended....

Fantastic experience: We got the private zoo tour experience with Jay for our family of 5. We traveled from Illinois after watching the vlog as a family and being reptile/insect/fish fans ourselves, and seriously, it was worth every penny. The animals are amazing, the staff are amazing. Everyone was extremely accommodating for our special needs son as well and offered to include him in every experience unlike other places have in the past. It's seriously a vision and so cool to see in person. Brian would be so proud and you all have out done yourselves! Thank you so much to Jay, Melissa and Connie and the many other staff for taking time out of their busy days to show us a wonderful day, teach us all some really cool things about the animals and make it a day to remember for us and our kids. I also have to say, I have a new dream snake thanks to Oz! Ben and Jerry was also amazing to meet, such a legendary snake. The tour with Jay to see the rep is worth it!

Fantastic experience: We thought the repatrium was great… this was even better! My kids love reptiles and sea animals (my son considers himself an animal expert) and this place did not disappoint! But what made it even better was the staff! I can’t say enough about how great they were. They took out pretty much anything the kids wanted (and they could bring out) and really made the kids so happy! We will definitely be regulars here. Thank you to the staff that made this such a great experience for our family!

Fantastic experience: This was the first time my daughter and I got to actually to experience this amazing attraction from the perspective of a visitor. You see, it's different when you see it from a perspective of a person who is actually doing work here versus being a visitor. Seeing the details and hard work that was orchestrated into creating this amazing facility and seeing it in its open and running, it's truly a blessing, honor, and privilege to have been able to see it from both sides. Seeing the smiles, the interaction, the knowledge being shared, and so much more makes the experience so much better. I can truly say that the plan will be visit many more times in the future. Highly recommend this experience.

Fantastic experience: Went today with my little one and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I have been following Brian and the Vlogs for several years now, and to see his vision come to life has been incredible to see. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My little even got to pet several of the animals as well as hold a snake. I paid for her to be able to feed Lilo the sloth. We will definitely be coming back. The drive up almost 2 hours was well worth it! Thank you Lori and the rest of the gang. You all are AMAZING.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time will definitely be back! My only suggestion is maybe cheaper youth prices for little kids! And please carry larger sizes of clothing I wanted to buy a few shirts unfortunately they only go up to 2x! Will be back!!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! Very kid friendly, the staff talks to you and educates you on the animals. The exhibits are beautiful. There are many extras that you can do there. Multiple animals were taken from their habitats and were out for holding. The animals looked well cared for and happy.❤️

It was so nice to see how well cared for and hands on these animals are. The staff is so knowledgeable and caring. Super attentive and inviting. Always asking if you want to know more or if they can help with anything or if you want to touch or hold the animals they are sharing. We will be back!!! Highly recommend this experience!!

Fantastic experience: As a follower of Brian and the whole staff on YouTube, my expectations were high. I was blown away at how well executed his dreams were met. The staff was wonderful and the animals were all healthy and very active. If I lived in the area, I would be visiting at least once a week. Great job everyone!

Fantastic experience: Truly an awesome place and experience! The staff were super nice and helpful in allowing us to hold and touch different critters as well as knowledgeable of most of the creatures too! We were there for 4 hours and only left because we were hungry! Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place with all sorts of creatures. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. There were friendly folks at every corner to share details about exhibits and even got to see some slithery friends come out of their habitats for meet and greets. Our little guy had a ball looking at all the snakes, lizards, and fish. This place is a true asset to the community and is by far the best value for your money. Detroit Zoo could learn a thing from these guys. 100/10 stars. Don't hesitate to check this place out. Fun date night, family outing or even event for work folks. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: We were super impressed! The staff were amazing! They genuinely seemed interested in the facts they were sharing, making sure everyone was having a good time, answering questions, offering to bring some of the animals out for interaction. It was a great experience and worth the $25/per person admission fee. The only part that made me a little sad is some of the enclosures seemed really small for the size of the animal. For example, the alligator snapper in the first exhibit from the front entrance. That snapper was HUGE and his enclosure is SO small in comparison. It felt like that with some of the other animals so I hope they can grow or re-arrange a bit to host larger spaces for these creatures. I also would recommend more signage especially in the aquarium section. The staff did a wonderful job of being available but it didn’t feel efficient for them to repeat the same information when they could just have a plaque with photo of the fish and the name. Then leave the workers to being available to share more details about the fish, origins etc etc. All in all, 5 stars ⭐️

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best experiences I have ever had! Having been to large "box" aquariums and then going here, was by far the best one yet! The staff was all there and present and WONDERFUL, everyone of them had a smile, the enclosures were all clean which meant the animals are loved and cared for and over all the best thing ever. What a wonderful legacy to be left to someone and a true gm to be visited.

Fantastic experience: This was such a great experience. Some of the staff were well trained and very knowledgeable on all the reptiles & fish, frogs etc. I loved that it was a hands on experience. I think your price was a bit higher than expected. ($19.99 would be much better) We did enjoy our visit today.

Fantastic experience: Definitely a must see. If you know the history behind this place it was sonic to finally see it. Took about an hour to go thru but you could definitely spend more time.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing time!! It's absolutely perfect! Drove 650 miles to visit, and I will for sure be back! I did the sloth encounter and also the capybara and it was well worth everything, all the animals are so behaved and well cared for i just can't say enough. If you haven't been, YA BETTER GO.

Fantastic experience: It’s a bit expensive but worth the money. My daughter loves reptile and was able to told/ touch on to a few, like a snake, lizards, sting ray, others, and a plus… we got our hands exfoliated! lol. It’s a really nice place to go for families. I have a preteen and a toddler.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Gorgeous place. Amazing staff. Awesome interaction with so many animals there from snake alligator lizard stingrays fish and the most amazing the sea urchin was amazing. The kids were very happy and said it was by far the best zoo and or aquarium they’d ever been too!!! And a bonus for me - cichlids everywhere-my very fav parrot fish (freshwater) and flower horn - first I’ve ever seen them anywhere other than pet store and my own tank. Very very beautiful place. Great experience and will def be back!!!! Brian is beaming with pride from Heaven at how absolutely amazing it turned out that’s for sure. And again - the entire staff (and there’s ALOT of staff) were all so friendly and helpful and happy and nice-refreshing to see. 1000 stars from us!

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was so Impressed with this place. We had a gift card from Christmas for here and decided to go today. So glad we were able to goto the new location! Even with it being by the “soft opening“ my cousin and I were both highly impressed with the staff, their knowledge, the amount of interaction the kids got with animals, how active and well cared for the animals seemed and just our overall experience! Well worth the hour drive for me!

Fantastic experience: A really cool experience! A lot of cool fish and reptiles with great tank setups. We went through it a bit faster it was about a 20-minute experience, which I think is a really good value for the price. The old location was a bit cramped but the LegaSea aquarium is very spacious with room to grow!

Fantastic experience: Visited here on a weekend for a date. It is definitely worth the price for everything we were able to experience! There are paid animal encounters you can do, but sometimes the staff will have reptiles out that you can handle/touch! There are touch tanks as well on the aquarium side! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all the animals. We were able to experience about 4 shows during our time here! We spent around 3 hours here looking at everything! There is still some areas that do not have any habitants in it, or tanks they are working on, but once everything is finished I believe it will be amazing!

Fantastic experience: Used to be just "The Reptarium" - in mid-April 2025 - reopened as LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium with 2x the space, more people working, and clean, new exhibits. The first room consists of a wide variety of reptiles, the remaining 2 rooms have a variety of fish, lobster, and rays. They even have a capybara, sloth, and a binturong. Very interactive; staff lets you touch animals. Regular events such as reptile feeding.

Fantastic experience: We loveddddd Alexa she was very detailed with her information on the animals & was very patient With my kiddos the experience was a 10/10 we will be returning! All the staff was very nice and helpful as well

Fantastic experience: I can’t not say enough good things about this place. My husband has been an avid subscriber and fan of the YouTube channel since the SnakeBytesTV days. We both have always adored Bryan’s love for animals and education. It is so wonderful to see his dream come true! Huge thanks you to Lori and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication. This is a must visit and was the #1 item of our list to do when we came to Michigan.
