Fantastic experience: Amazing food with unforgettable view and great service by our server Rob. Recommending this place for all seafood lovers! Rob helped us 'create' our own dessert as per my toddler's request!

Fantastic experience: Every time we visit Kemah, we make sure to have lunch or dinner here. The food is always great, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's also a good spot for kids. Highly recommended! I always bring friends from out of state, and they love it too.

Negative experience: Terrible food. Who knows how old the shrimp is or where it came from but it CERTAINLY was not from Houston or Galveston. This place is lower quality than Applebee's, and the aquarium aspect is a poorly executed gimmick. It's just a money grab. They literally send people to your table to sell you $40 family photos right after you get your meal. Stay away. It needs to go out of business and be replaced with a restaurant and aquarium that actually care.

Fantastic experience: Me and my family had a great time here. Restaurant is clean and service was amazing! My server was markus and he was super attentive ! I’ll come back hoping me experience is just as good!

Fantastic experience: Everything was great, 5 stars for Rob, but your hosts they were very rude, disrespectful, and sarcastic, very upset especially After I drove 75 miles to celebrate my bday here.

Positive experience: We had fun at the aquarium before we went to the restaurant the stingrays were like birds begging for food and they seemed to enjoy being petted. Our service was excellent at the restaurant but wife’s coffee was stale and cold but we both enjoyed the shark attack dessert which could probably feed 5 people it was very large. Atmosphere was incredibly fun. Salt and pepper shakers were seahorses

Fantastic experience: Lots of fun! Everyone in family have activities to keep you occupied the entire day. Belle (An amazing employee within the Stingray Reef Exhibit) was Exremely knowledgeable and even gave my nephew a personal tour! Belle passionately loves her job and makes the experience unforgettable. She even tells you all their names and backstories. Fantastic experience: Rob helped us to get food that I was able to enjoy with my severe seafood allergy. He helped me build red beans and rice with sausage as a side! He got the baby food out very fast so she could enjoy while we waited to know what we wanted to eat. Very helpful and extremely kind!

Fantastic experience: Was actually quite surprised how great the service was and how delicious the food was. Party of 4, had a kids chicken tender plate, kids chicken and shrimp plate, blackened chicken and shrimp salad, and the grilled shrimp plate with Pico, avocado, and rice. All of us were very happy with our decisions and food was delicious. I am craving the shrimp again! Prices were a little high but that was expected before going. Our waiter was great and he caught and corrected a plate the kitchen got wrong before bringing it and let us know. We will go back if ever in the area again.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to our waiter Rob! If the place looked good but not good food it still would have been great but this is one of Kemah's finest seafood restaurants. A bit pricey but I have no regrets we had the castaway combo, seafood gumbo, taste of New Orleans, and the Cajun combo. All excellent!

Fantastic experience: This review is specifically about the Sea Safari Summer Camp at the Aquarium. It was a day camp lasting all week. My son absolutely loved it. He had so much learning about sea life and exploring the Kemah Boardwalk and all it has to offer. He is already asking to go next year.

Fantastic experience: Sea Camp was awesome! Met new friends, learned so much about sea life, and rode the rides!! The camp staff were very nice. Will do it again next year!!

Fantastic experience: Our son attended the Camp Kemah Sea Safari summer camp and I cannot say enough great things about it! They have done some really neat activities, provided a ton of educational learning, great food, the camp supervisors have been kind & easy to communicate with. We have put our son in numerous summer camps but this one by far surpasses them all. Huge shout out to the team that put this together and runs it, I would give more stars if I could!

Positive experience: The staff was awesome but the prices for the food was overpriced especially for a little. Our waiters Lian and Jeanette were awesome serving our party! Probably my first and last time going tbh lol

Negative experience: Food was ok , but laundrys has always had pretty good food. Out of every laundrys restaurant ive been to, this one by far had the worst service. I had to wait waay to long for a refil of my water , continously had to remind the waitress to bring a refill of my kids water since it was forgotten multiple times. Then we were waitingbfor waitress to bring the dessert options ( which she forgot) and she sent another waitress who came annoyed and when my kids were trying to decide which dessert they wanted she rolled her eyes and just left. No "ill be right back" no " if yall need more time i can be right back " just a eye roll and a walk off which I've never had before. I told my waitress about it and all i could get an "im sorry" dont even know if management was even there typically management comes to our table at pretty much every laundrys location to ask if everything was good but nothing just a bunch of people ttalking by the bar .

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We drove nearly 2 hours to experience Kemah Boardwalk for the first time and chose to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday at the Aquarium restaurant. The place was beautifully themed with a calming underwater vibe—perfect for a special occasion. The family tables were full, so my husband, son, and I decided to sit at the bar. It was actually my son’s and my first time ever sitting at a bar, and we were a little nervous—but that changed the moment Angelica greeted us. She was beyond amazing! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, she instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. She handled everything with such grace and care that we truly felt like valued guests. Jeanette also came by to check on us, and her warm, genuine presence made the experience even better. Both of these ladies went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful—but it was Angelica and Jeanette who truly made this visit unforgettable. For making a milestone birthday feel so special and for turning our nerves into smiles, they deserve all the stars and more. Hands down, best service we’ve had in a long time!

Fantastic experience: This restaurant is super cute! The environment is amazing, not too loud, not too quiet, all the staff are super nice. My waiter Robert had a great attitude and he was happy to help us or answer any questions. I heard it is his first week working here, he is doing great! All the food was delicious, i got the Louisiana Cajun Pasta and it was soooo good. I also ordered the shark attack dessert which was definitely worth the money, super big dessert and you get alot. Overall experience 10/10!

Fantastic experience: We had the nicest experience at our first Happy Hour at The Aquarium. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. As always at the restaurant, the ambiance was lovely. However the highlight of the evening was the bartender Jen! Her service was impeccable and friendly. We were a group of 4 and for a lot of the time we were there, we were the only customers. As Jen kept up with the servers’ request of drinks, she also engaged in conversation with us which we found delightful! We live near the Boardwalk and love Happy Hours so we will definitely be back to see Jen.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. We ordered the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and also tried the sampler, which was really tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding — Markus, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The only minor issue was at the front desk, where we waited a little longer than expected to be seated. But once we were at our table, everything went perfectly and was absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the unique atmosphere.

Negative experience: I was there for my bday on June 5, 2025, the fisherman’s platter I ordered was so greasy I couldn’t even eat it. Everything was soaked in grease! The waitress had no idea what she was doing either, had to ask for refills on our drinks then it took it several min to bring them, and the restaurant was not busy, she only had 2 tables!! The Aquarium in Houston is so much better! Will not go back to the Kemah one!! Beware of Kemah one!! Tillman you gotta do better on this restaurant!!

Negative experience: Upon entry it seemed a bit dirty on the inside. We had a pretty large group and was told that it would be a 50-54min wait. We decided to not eat there as it didn't look clean.

Fantastic experience: Our son saw this restaurant on the train ride and we had to stop by. The atmosphere is great, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with an aquarium built in. There were a few small tanks and one large one with many different types of sea creatures. The food was delicious. I had the "taste of new Orleans" including shrimp, sausage, cat fish, and fried gator. My friend ordered Parmesan chicken and shrimp and my wife had Louisiana Cajun pasta. The experience was really enjoyable and our server had a great sense of humor on a slower day. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Positive experience: We usually love coming here for date night. Drinks and appetizers before a night out is a great place to start. This last visit though was a different experience. We placed our order, the castaway combo and the fish and chips and asked if the dishes could be brought out at the same time as were were splitting it. We almost finished the combo before we had the fish and chips. Just as well though. Yes the fish and chips are advertised as crispy but the batter was as hard as a rock to the point you could barely bite through it. For $23 I would expect a restaurant whose whole theme is sea life would have amazing fish to eat. On top of the mediocre food this time around the restaurant was VERY hot. As if the AC wasn't working. It's a shame as this is normally our go to spot. Maybe just an off night for them but not a fantastic experience for us.

Positive experience: The experience is great! There are specialty drinks for parents and fish for the kids, but the food is very bland… Everything tastes fresh and was cooked well. It just didn’t have any flavor. The staff and atmosphere are the only things I can compliment.

Fantastic experience: This place and staff was Amazing!! We held our graduation party for our seniors class of 2025 in the ballroom and hands down the staff here at the Aquarium did great!! Bar attendant Jeanette did an amazing job and our Server Lian was exceptional very attentive to all our needs . The food and service was amazing . We Will defiantly book again.

Fantastic experience: Glen was our server and he made my birthday extra special. I did not like my daughter wanted her catfish fried instead of grilled and he never made us feel bad about it. With a smile on his face he told me it's okay and happy Birthday and accommodated us. We watched as he went outside to take a picture of the family we were sitting next to. He then went to another table and made a child's drink special. He's the type of server who deserves to get tipped every single time and then some. Thank you Glen !!!

Fantastic experience: Our server Britany was great! She was attentive to my food allergies and helped me find cocktails that were safe for me to have. The food was delicious as always. This time we tried the German chocolate cheesecake a seasonal desert item, which I hope becomes a regular item on the desert menu because it was amazing!

Negative experience: This one is a tough one to write, the GM was awesome! We thought we were in for a good experience, not so much on the service side, I got blamed for “not liking my food” when they brought me the wrong order. Still left over 20% ( not a brag this is mediocre at best) because we sat at the table for a while. Won’t be back.

We’ve ate at a lot of restaurants with great service, but Britany was by far the best we’ve had! Very sweet and easy to talk to! We spent a lot of time talking about live, dogs and Harry Potter! She is top notch! When we return we hope to have Britany again. She was very knowledgeable of the food and drinks. Very refreshing and rare to find service like that!

Positive experience: Aquarium is one of our favorite restaurants. We had a late, possibly the last available, reservation due to everyone's work schedule. Today was a different experience. My perception as a customer, was not feeling welcomed but feeling like I was a burden with the staffs focus more on trying to get out. I shared my experience privately with manager and he apologized. I did not want to say anything but we were celebrating my son's birthday. The manager is why my rating is higher than what I feel for this experience. The food, as always was great. Restrooms were cute.
