Negative experience: disappointing. way to expensive. i felt sorry for the seals. dirty exhibits. there’s like 4 fish in a room and the poor seals doing laps. a room with a snail in it. fascinating.

Negative experience: I hope someone from the aquarium is reading this! We came for spring break on March 27, 2025 my friends card was charged for my visit. The machine broke down and some glitch happened. So they had me move to the other side. So when it booted up the aquarium charged her for both 2 separate charges. We have called and called for months. Talked to many people and lots of messages left on machines. NO ONE in the aquarium will give us our money back. I am so disappointed in this business I would never recommend going to this place and supporting them. Horrible to treat people this way! Imagine how they treat the animals.......do better!!!!

Negative experience: Very small aquarium. I liked the interactive tanks with the sting ray. But it was definitely overpriced for the size of the place. Also, they are not transparent with the parking. They should put signs up in the lot. It is $7 to park a vehicle. Disappointed with not having that info before buying tickets inside.

Jeff Jones 2 months ago

Positive experience: Pretty basic aquarium. It'll take you an hour to go through it. They charge you if you park there but don't tell you they have a tram that will take you to the state park. Would have been nice to have known we didn't need to pay twice for parking.

Negative experience: I dont know what people see here to rate it as 4 star! Have people not seen aquariums before??? All is there is penguins and seals and couple other fish kinds, that is it! The second building is insects. Not stroller or wheel chair accessible at least at my time of visit. We had to carry the stroller twice up the stairs. Plus very expensive rate , the whole visit was like 30 minutes and of course 2 gift shops. that is it. Dont go here.

Positive experience: The touch tank with the rays was great. The sturgeon touch tank was interesting but too deep to touch. The Humboldt penguins were cute. The various windows were interesting. The sea lion training session was brief but fun. It is a fairly small aquarium. We saw all the displays in both buildings and the sea lion's training in an hour and a half. There did seem to be a lot of construction going on so maybe it is renovating or expanding. The staff in the main building was friendly, but not prepared to extend much for customer consideration. I would have liked to be told what to expect, something about the 360 building, a good place to start, etc. The man at the 360 building was much more engaging and ready to answer questions.

Hannah Starke 3 months ago

Positive experience: We really enjoyed the show and the trainers and staff were all super knowledgeable and kind. However, the aquarium was *tiny* and difficult to maneuver a stroller in.

Taylor Smith 3 months ago

Positive experience: A nice compact aquarium. As some have mentioned, the $25 per person price tag seems a bit high, but they do have a decent variety to see. I was surprised that CG tank didn't have a label showing what all the fish inside were. I also agree with some others that having to scan the tickets each time you move between buildings is inconvenient, but understandable.

Bob Kamphuis 3 months ago

Negative experience: The aquarium is underwhelming. Also, parking isn’t free. They sneak that in as an extra charge. The exhibits they have are cool, but not worth the price. Save your money for another attraction

Jenna 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed the experience. So many different species to see and learn about. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable

BJ Yoder 3 months ago

Negative experience: It was $25/person, plus $7 parking. It took us 15 minutes to go through the aquarium. The price is much higher than it should be for an aquarium this small.

Kelly Gerber 3 months ago

Positive experience: My family had a good time at the Aquarium of Niagara. We do recommend going. One exhibit was getting updated when we were there. We still enjoyed what we learned about the ocean and Great Lakes.

Jessica Trboyevich 3 months ago

Positive experience: I’d agree with most reviewers that at $25pp the size of the facility isn’t very big. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the exhibits seem to be well taken care of. There is a very strong smell so it might be difficult for people who are sensitive to smells. The highlights are the Seals and the Penguins. The Great Lakes exhibit is neat, but also very tiny.

Fantastic experience: My grandson loves to visit the aquarium!

Rohan Ram 3 months ago

Negative experience: That place was totally a rip off, doesn’t worth it, in 5 minutes you can walk the complete aquarium hardly any fishes to see. Then the outdoor part has like 5 big size fishes, the lady busy yapping away with others before tell us what kind of fishes are they. So please spend your money elsewhere.

Positive experience: It was a good place to pass the time

Fantastic experience: This is a quaint aquarium with a nice variety of fish, penguins, sea lions, turtles, etc. They also have an open pool where children can touch rays, fish, and turtles. There is a show performance of sea lions that is great! Parking is plentiful and free. It is a 10-minute walk from the Rainbow bridge on the New York side of Niagara Falls. It's a great place for children and handicapped people. They also have a small gift shop for souvenirs. You can easily spend a few hours in this aquarium. Highly recommend !!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience…. Must visit there.. 5-6 hours minimum to watch all programmes… the most beautiful show was sea lion i suggest to book online ticket to avoid waiting time.

Positive experience: This place is a decent way to waste time in Niagara. It has 2 buildings but both have small with few exhibits. I'd say we spent less than 1hr here and saw everything there was to see. $25 to get in, $5 to park.

Delilah Boland 4 months ago

Negative experience: One Star – Disturbing and Unethical Conditions, also REEKED The only positive note I can say about this place is that the staff was helpful and nice. As someone who genuinely loves aquariums and cares deeply about marine life, I was heartbroken and appalled by my visit to this facility. The experience lasted barely 30 minutes and cost $25—an absurd price for what amounted to a disturbing and frankly depressing walkthrough. There were virtually no educational placards, and the few that did exist offered little to no scientific information. I really love learning new things about species I’m unfamiliar with, and it was so sad that 90% of the fish I saw didn’t even have identifications near them. More concerning, however, was the appalling state of the exhibits. Tanks were improperly sized, with large species confined to cramped spaces and smaller species in disproportionately large tanks—clear evidence that whoever is overseeing the animal care lacks even basic knowledge of aquatic species’ needs. Even worse, I counted multiple deceased moon jellyfish floating in a tank that was far too small for their size. The entire facility reeked of decay, a strong smell of dead fish that is absolutely not normal in a properly maintained aquarium. This was, without exaggeration, the saddest aquarium I’ve ever visited. It gave every impression of being poorly managed and neglectful of the animals in its care. I left feeling sickened and deeply concerned for the creatures still living there. I strongly urge others to avoid this place, and I sincerely hope that they investigate and improve its conditions. Aquariums should be centers of education, conservation, and respect—not exploitation and neglect.

Fantastic experience: A smaller aquarium, but one filled with interesting animals with fun personalities. Before you enter the building there are seals that stare at you. They are completely judging you, but they won't say why. Inside the two buildings are sea lions, rays, sharks, a sea turtle, and many more animals. The sea lions were particularly fun to watch. There was one fish in the touch area that we were warned not to let near our fingers. It bites, they said. We thought it was a hilarious creature and called it the Don't Touch Me fish. A fun experience for people visiting the Niagara Falls area!

Vernon Mimms 4 months ago

Positive experience: Nice little aquarium in the back of Niagara Falls State Park. Admission also gets you into nearby Great Lakes 360 focused on aquatic life in the Great Lakes. They have shows for Sea Lions, penguins, etc. It was nice and you can see all of it in 3 or 4 hours.

Derek S 4 months ago

Negative experience: This is a small aquarium. They do have some nice displays and the sea lions are nice to see but the sea lion show was not open when we went. This honestly took us less then 45 minutes to see everything and that was at a slow pace. I really don't think this is worth $25.

Fantastic experience: Nice aquarium, many shows and exhibits. Additional building nearby has exhibits of the great lakes.

Positive experience: Amazing and fun time wish there was more shows though and would be nice if they had someone explain the animals to the smaller kids

Fantastic experience: My best friend and I did the lead the feed sharks and stingrays encounter today. You cannot go wrong with an AZA accredited facility. These staff care about the animals, have the education and knowledge and it shows. The animals looked happy and healthy and we had an absolute blast. I will be back the 25th for the clownfish feed encounter with my boyfriend and I cannot wait to show him how awesome you guys are! Thank you for everything , specific thanks to Nat ! P.s if you by chance have that beluga plush in stock I will absolutely purchase ;)

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old daughter has been obsessed with seals. I did a Google search for where we could do a seal encounter and came across the Niagara Falls Aquarium, which is about three hours away from us. It was extremely affordable for admission into the aquarium plus for the seal encounter was affordable as well. We bought admission, seal encounter and parking in advance online, very simple and user friendly. I had a question regarding the seal encounter before booking and they responded to my email almost immediately. The aquarium itself is small, but very nice and all the exhibits were very clean. The gift shop was also affordable. All staff members we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The seal encounter was fun and something my daughter will always remember. She was in her glory with the seals.we fed them fish, touched them and had them doing tricks. I would highly recommend this aquarium. Be sure to plan your day around the presentations they offer, the sea lion presentation is incredible.

Positive experience: Haven't been in years, went with my son . It is small but still pleasant. Staff was very accommodating.

Ashley Horvat 5 months ago

Positive experience: Great little aquarium, shows were great and facility is super clean. Having to rescan the ticket every time and waiting for someone to do so when you have to move through the different areas outside just to see the shows was daunting but understandable. Definitely recommend for families with smaller kids!

Fantastic experience: We loved visiting this aquarium! They have a nice variety of different sea life that you can watch . The seals and penguins were a lot of fun to watch. Overall I would say this is one of the best aquariums I’ve been to on the east coast.

Jay Fulcher 6 months ago

Positive experience: Nice aquarium. More for small kids than teens. Deals and penguins are very cute. Expensive for what’s there. The touch tank had a biting fish in it, why?

Chris Brooks 6 months ago

Positive experience: Small compared to other aquariums I have visited but by no means any less. Many great exhibits and staff to talk to about the animals. Great conservation effort.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time in this local aquarium. It's about two hours between both building if you stop and enjoy the exhibits. The penguin feeding time and sea- lion show were great. They have two touch tanks, one in the main building and one in thier local fish and wildlife building. You can see seals before you enter. Parking is extra cost but convenient. I liked the starter theme around the jellies. It was a very nice layout and fun to chat with the keepers who help enrich the animals lives and share these neat creatures with the next generation.

Fantastic experience: My kids and I had such a great time at the Aquarium of Niagara this morning! Well kept facility, friendly staff, and beautiful exhibits. Awesome seal and sea lion exhibit and presentations, loved to see the penguins, and my kids and I really enjoyed touching the backs of stingrays and touching the playful, massive sturgeons! Very short walk to the Great Lakes 360 building was worth it. We will absolutely be returning! FYI to moms going with young ones- leave the wagons at home. Small strollers/wearable carriers preferred due to mostly manual doors. We brought our Baby Trend wagon and unfortunately the bathroom doors were narrow and not automatic. (Bathrooms were spotless though I will add!) The rear entrance to the Aquarium is handicap accessible but is also not automatic. Inside the aquarium is completely wagon/stroller friendly though and does have elevators if you’re like me and brought a wagon anyway. Great Lakes 360 doors are automatic and navigation is very wagon friendly, although we did not use the bathroom in that building so can’t speak to the doors on those. After visiting, we went down the road to rainforest cafe and then the falls nearby. Looking forward to doing it again soon!

Fantastic experience: A small but high quality aquarium. I spent about 3 hours here which was enough to view all tanks/exhibits and read most informational text, and watch the sea lion demonstration. All tanks are well maintained with interesting animals :) I visited on a Sunday morning and it was not crowded at all. At time of visit (3/16/2025) admission for adults was $25.

Azim M 6 months ago

Negative experience: Had a stroller, very inconvenient. Access to the other building was even worse had to either use stairs or drive around to another parking lot. The walkway to the other building wasn’t even shovelled. The exhibits are also not really big, good enough to spend an hour max

Erik Heerdt 6 months ago

Positive experience: 25 dollars a person is not worth for the small, outdated aquarium. It's still very well kept. It's still very small. Some of the enclosers are small for the amount of animals in the pools/tanks.

Phil Fedorowick 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: An amazing, highly affordable and ethical experience. See all manner of sea creatures and un-releaseable ocean mammalians. It's a small building compared to comparably larger facilities like Ripley's aquarium in Toronto, but it is incredibly efficient in its use of space. I highly recommend looking up their schedule in advance, as well as attending on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday, when said schedule is in effect. It will list times for featured feedings, educational presentations, and flashier events like a sea lion show with music, tricks, and demonstrations of significant athleticism on the part of the sea lions. We visited from Canada, and walked across the border on the rainbow bridge. The aquarium was easily accessible on foot this way. The antithesis of a sad aquarium, and a magnificent non-profit organization. A special highlight for us was the outdoor exhibit for the seals. They looked so comfortable and happy out in the cold water with the falling snow! Be sure to book the extra services like meeting a penguin/seal for a more personal and informative experience.

Ian Bone 6 months ago

Negative experience: The price of the aquarium is a little ridiculous. There isn't enough there to justify it. On top of that, they charge for parking. I was expecting more. It was fun to see the penguins. The little area where kids can put their hands in the water hoping to get to touch the rays was cool. That was about it for me. Overall a disappointment for me for the price.

Lance Nelson 6 months ago

Negative experience: Very little value for the price of admission. Unless you have a kid that will read all signage and engage in learning every nuance about the few animals at the aquarium. Not worth the travel and price of admission in my opinion.

AJ 6 months ago

Negative experience: This is not an effort to rag on the aquarium or its conservation efforts: my negative review is based on price point. There is no justifiable reason it should cost 25$ per adult. The aquarium label itself is misleading, it more resembles a few fish tanks and sea lion cove (gift shops take up a quarter of the total floor space). While children under 3 are free, it does not make up for total cost - especially considering the very limited time it takes to see every exhibit (~25 walk-through).

Stephanie Violino 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: My kids and I go here so often that I swear the animals remember us. This is a staple if you have kids, especially with the weather in this area. Having young kids, I dread dragging them out to the huge museums that you have to park a half mile away from and take 3 hours to go through. The reviews that say it's expensive; it is if you buy one day tickets. We buy the annual pass every year and go any day that we're bored. It paid for itself within 2 visits and has been a lifesaver for us. The additions they've done over the past few years have just added to our love for it. Its also a place that I don't mind spending money at the gift shop because they do so much good for the animals in their care. I've always said if I ever win the lottery I'd give them most of my money so they can keep doing the amazing work that they do.

Lisa Beaty 6 months ago

Positive experience: Very small aquarium with limited exhibits. If you can get a deal on tickets, it might be worth it. It is an older facility. Catching some of the live talks and feedings will make it more worthwhile. Did not take in Great Lakes 360, so cannot speak to that. That also might have added value.

Positive experience: It was great I had a good time with my family and it was a good size so that we didn’t get too tired of walking, definitely recommend for little ones you will have a great time with the penguins and seals

Forest Lambert 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Had a great time at this little aquarium. My wife and I frequent zoos and Aquariums across the us and Canada. This one has a great seal display inside and a good amount of other displays including some really cool jellyfish. The aquarium is on the smaller side so expect to spend about 30 minutes to an hour to see everything, unless you are going to hand out for the shows.

Leah Duncan 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: We visited the aquarium when we were on vacation. We followed the animal exhibits as they happened which was really fun. The sea lion one was our favorite. You could tell the staff really enjoyed working with the animals and loved them which makes the experience even better.

Fantastic experience: This was super fun!! Way more intimate than the one in Toronto and since it's in the falls, 5 minutes across the border so a quick 10 minute drive for me! My daughter is 8 months and she was absolutely elated, making shrieks of joy I've never heard her make before, she fell in love with all of the animals and was even listening to the guide who was running the demo for thr sea lions, the sea lions were a great treat, even for us adults!! Definitely worthy of the time and attention and doing a great job with the animals, you can see that the staff care and they are all very courteous and friendly :) We didn't get to see the turtles so we will be back soon!:)

Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I were in town for a football game and decided on a whim to check out the Aquarium of Niagara before heading home. We had such an amazing time at this little aquarium! There was so much information to read about the animals throughout the aquarium but I believe the demonstrations they do really set them apart. We got to watch a penguin feeding (shout-out to the Humbolt penguin), a jellyfish feeding, and the sea lion demonstration (we actually were there for so long we saw it twice, LOL). The animals were obviously well cared for and seemed to have lots of space. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. And we had a blast with the photo booth and have some cute souvenir photos. Would highly recommend checking out this aquarium!

Fantastic experience: We love visiting biannually. Within waking distance of most everything! The new 360 center is definitely worth the walk to it. They have s touching pool for sturgeon. Very unique. We absolutely adore the seal shows. Marine staff is knowledge, friendly, and works extremely well with the marine life and have a passion and understanding of their emotional needs. The bond between instructor and seal is very evident and soft. They have TONS of awesome marine life displays! They also feature various tanks during the day and it was educational for the kids. The place is always packed. 10/10!!

Gina 8 months ago

Fantastic experience: My only concern is I highly highly recommend getting a netting made of something like paracord or a really strong material over the area where you guys do the sea lion show in the top area like there needs to be netting. Especially since it's so open you have little kids who watch your shows who might be small enough to fit through the top and could accidentally fall in I would highly recommend for safety purposes for your company that you invest in that sort of netting to protect yourself and the company from any children falling through there. That is my only true concern with this place otherwise this is a wonderful aquarium and I highly recommend going.

Positive experience: Very nice aquarium, the exhibits were all very clean, I really liked getting to walk outside on the paths to get down to the second building

Cinnamon Doran Keller Williams Greater Columbus 9 months ago

Positive experience: The jellyfish display was my favorite. Small space with lots of diversity. There are two buildings; one featuring the Great Lakes life and the other featuring the Sea. No entry in either building after 4:30. Locals can visit their library to check out free passes. They cover 2 adults and 2 children. Parking is $5, even with the free pass.

John Alexander 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Decent price for general admission; with the addition of the Great Lakes 360 area there’s quite a bit to see. The Penguins, Seals and SeaLions take centre stage here though. There are “schedules” to the tickets but don’t be worried about it, it’s not that strict they just want to space it out so it’s not overly crowded. They do have scheduled events with different exhibits which is on a stricter schedule. We paid extra (a lot extra but worth it in my opinion especially when this is a non-profit) for the Seal Encounter. We got to see how they feed them, what they feed them, the entire process of their daily maintenance, it was nice to see. They also gave us backgrounds on their seals and how they ended up here. To top of the encounter we got to go out into the Seal exhibit. Della was the sweetest seal, the trainers fed her and we got pictures with her. The other seals Lumière and Stryker were much smaller and more hyper for sure. We love seals and this was an awesome experience. We’d love to do it again!

Kerri Richardson 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: We just visited today and had a wonderful experience!! The exhibits, interactions, shows were spectacular for the kids and adults alike. The team members were incredibly kind, helpful, and informative! The Greatlakes 360 is such a cool addition. Thank you to Kristin especially for making this visit to the Niagara Falls Aquarium one we will never forget!

Noah Moyeda-Haas 10 months ago

Positive experience: The aquarium was very nice and the workers were very friendly. Great use of its small space. Signage was lacking though, leading us to enter through the back where we had to buzz to be entered. Most of the animals seem to be well taken care of except the spotted seals. They only had a small pond outside

bob wiley 10 months ago

Fantastic experience: Would give more stars if possible. They took what I thought might be a fun birthday for my girlfriend and made it out of this world incredible. All of the staff were amazing. Was also amazed to find out how humane and ethical this entire organization was. It made us really happy to hear all the lengths they go to in order to preserve these values. I can not recommend the penguin experience and the seal experience enough. They were amazing memories we will cherish for the rest of our days. The behind the scenes tour was fascinating, and again, every single staff member and trainer were paragons of pleasantry and fun.

Chris Marble 11 months ago

Positive experience: We always enjoy aquariums and this was no exception. 5 tanks of jellyfish on display. Superb lighting on many tanks. Wife was not up to visiting their new site so was pricey for what we saw.

Kathryn Hall 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed this aquarium! It was small but the animals are worth. We watched the seals swim and get fed for a least 30 minutes, and they’re right outside the front door! Della, Lumiere, and Stryker are precious rescued seals that are full of personality. Inside they have penguins, sea lions, a ridley turtle, jellyfish and more! The cost of your ticket also gets you entry into the Lakes 360 aquarium that is down the path from this one. Two small aquariums for $25 is a win to me.

Chandra Bruno 11 months ago

Fantastic experience: Everyone was wonderful!! Michelle gave us our behind the scenes tour, Carol is the dive Instructor. She is very knowledgeable and will give you any information you want or need about the program! Abby and Geo gave me an up close and personal about and with the penguins. Kendyl and Michelle taught us a ton about Squirt the sea turtle. Devon and Kristin were fabulous and we learned and interacted with Isabel the Sae Lion. Please go and see all of these people and of course all of the animals they have there!! And don't forget to visit The Great Lakes 360 exhibit as well! (Part of your general admission ticket)

Positive experience: If you are expecting something like Atlanta aquarium, this is not the one. But the aquarium, even though it’s small in size, is good enough with decent shows and encounters to enjoy with family. Especially kids enjoy this place. We had penguin encounter and it’s good. Finally I saw penguin live. These are not big ones like polar ones but the dwarf breed of penguins. They won’t allow you to touch but you can sit right next to it which is amazing. Their sound is louder and terrific than they look though.

Fantastic experience: This is great opportunity to see and learn about sea life. I loved the fact that they make sure to encourage being responsible to protect our oceans. Do your part is what I heard. The kind staff was super informative. If you visit make sure you see both buildings and the outside feeding and explanations of the rescued seals. Go look at the sturgeons in the 360 building. We learned about these prehistoric fish and their endangered status and even got to gently touch them. The cost is $5 to park, $25 for adults, $18 kids 3-12 years, free 2 and under and they have Senior Citizen discounts. If you're in Niagara Falls check out this aquarium with the family or friends.

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if possible. Waste of Money! Tickets should be under $10 bucks. This place should not even be called an aquarium. There's literally 4 small tanks of fish, 1 penguin habit with about 5 penguins, 1 stingray petting tank, DONE! The sea lions are outside the building and you can see them for free. It takes less than 10 mins to get thru with reading the information on the walls. It's SaD!! Do better NY!!

Positive experience: Cute little aquarium! Some interactive exhibits and a cute sea lion show. They've added a nice second building more about the waters, lakes, and fishing in the area. There is an elevator to second floor to see the show, but only 1 bench up there to sit on.

Fantastic experience: Super cool place to visit. Check online to see there times for the aquarium presentations they have a lot going on throughout the day. There sea lion show was amazing. I went at 5pm and there was very few people there so we were able to walk around and see everything without having to wait for people to get their turn it was a really nice overall experience

Positive experience: Nice quaint little aquarium. A little more expensive than I thought it would be, but I guess that could be expected with the tourist environment in the area. We thought this aquarium would be walking distance from the maid of the mist area, but it was not... It was about a mile... A flat walk mind you, but if you're not used to walking it's going to be a hard one.

Negative experience: Hardly worth the money. Tiny aquarium and not much to see. Wouldn’t be bad if the tickets were cheaper, but for the price we were expecting a better experience. It took less than an hour to look at all of the exhibits, and that was at a leisurely pace. The one cool bonus was the stingray exhibit. They allow you to pet them, which was pretty cool.

Positive experience: Looking at other reviews, it was warned that it would be a small aquarium. We were on route to return to Canada so we were thinking why not. Overall, aquarium is ok but losing stars due to the size of the aquaroum doesnt justify the ticket price. Toronto Ripley is about $10 more expensive but much bigger. The nice thing here was the scheduled show & feeding is very frequent, almost hourly if I recalled. The kids struggled to stay for more than 1 hour here

Positive experience: I did read the review that it was small and it is REALLY SMALL compared to Ripley's if you have ever been. They do have shows which is what makes you stay longer. If there were no shows you could see everything in 30min in my opinion. The seal show was super cute. Probably the kids favorite. They have a shark and stingray pool where you could touch them however when we got there they were all too far to touch.

Positive experience: What a great, family friendly place! I would say that the admission fee is worth it. Our kids loved the playful penguins and the giant tank in the middle of the aquarium where the sea lions/seals were swimming all over the place. Our 5 year old was so excited to be able to touch a sting ray! As a parent, I loved that the shows for the sea lions/seals happened often enough that we got to see them multiple times while we were there.

Fantastic experience: Such a great place for any age. Our whole family enjoyed the sea lion show, seal show and the live feedings where visitors can ask questions while the handlers are feeding the animals. I also like that every dollar goes back into the aquarium to help support the everyday operations.

Positive experience: Great place to visit, not sure why it’s not promoted more. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s so small. I think that the state of Niagara Falls NY needs to invest more in there city. There are lots of spaces right near the national park that are big enough to expand the Aquarium.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed. I've never been to an aquarium that was so small. There were very few animals. It took maybe ten minutes to see everything. The only saving grace was that the seal show was extremely entertaining. I took my mom because she had never been to an aquarium. Now I'm going to take her to the Newport aquarium so she can see what an actual aquarium looks like.

Fantastic experience: I'm on vacation with my son and we always come to Niagara Falls to start off our vacation. This year he wanted to visit other areas before going to the Falls. While I was checking in he was looking up places to visit and the Aquarium was one of them. The seal and sea lion show was great.

Negative experience: Simply not worth it. It’s a very small aquarium with several exhibits under construction. I spent maybe 30 minutes there because there’s just not a lot to see. If you’ve been to any other aquarium in your life I promise you’ve seen all the same stuff already. There’s just nothing that sets this place apart or makes it worth visiting. It’s certainly not worth the $20 price point but I can at least hope that that money is going toward giving the animals a good life. Skip this and spend your time on something else.

Fantastic experience: Great way to get out of the heat/rain and explore the water world! We saw the dolphins in action with their trainers doing tricks and exercises. It’s was great! About an hour or two is good.

Positive experience: A bit overpriced but not too bad. Not too many exhibits but lots of interaction with animals. If the kids weren't so young they may have liked it better. The 9 and 10 yr old appreciated it more.

Fantastic experience: Such a cute aquarium! It is a little small but it is very nice, clean and the workers are very nice. We got to see a sea lion show! The person who did the show was very good and all the sea lions were so cute and awesome. I like that they talk about conservation and how they train. They also had pufferfish!! Which are my favorite animal ever. Mom really loved it and we had a lot of fun. They have lots of seating for people with mobility issues. Clean bathrooms, and really cute gift shop. :D You do have to pay for parking. They also do museums for all! So if you have an EBT card you get a discounted rate. :)

Fantastic experience: Me and my boyfriend got tickets to see the sea lions up close and personal. The entire exhibit was well worth the price in my opinion especially since it goes towards improving, maintaining, and caring for the animals. Every creature appears happy and healthy and our guide for the encounter was incredible knowledgeable and down to earth as well as friendly! The lady who was interning took so many pictures for us with the sea lion. We were so happy to have been given the chance to visit this place and someday I want to come again :) you can tell they really care about their animals and the staff love their job.

Negative experience: The aquarium is overpriced for 30-45 mins of experience and a parking fee. A lot of the exhibits are much too small for the creatures, especially the sea turtle. There needs to be upgrades and expansion for these animals. The staff is doing the best they can with what they're working with.

Fantastic experience: You do have to pay for parking. The exhibits were clean. We were able to catch the sea lion show..that was a real treat!! They are very cute and smart! Things in the gift shop were pretty expensive. It took us about 45 minutes, including the show, to go through it. Multiple floors of the aquarium. Ad well as a pool for you to touch sting rays. The sea lion pool was by far our favorite

Fantastic experience: We have season passes and it's never a disappointment. Very educational, clean facility, informative staff. On a couple of special occasions they've even had free face paintings. The jellyfish are my favorite.

Fantastic experience: A fun place to spend some time. The penguin feeding was fun and very informative. I like that they are keeping some animals because they wouldn’t survive in the wild while other animals are returned to the wild once they are a certain age.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of parking available. The aquarium is small but intense, fun and educational. They have events and shows every one hour. Schedule available online and on-site. Check in advance recommended!

Positive experience: Not the biggest or fanciest aquarium I’ve seen, but it’s still a nice place to visit. The staff there are all really friendly and knowledgable! We paid extra to have a behind the scenes tour and feed the stingrays, which was cool. I fed stingrays elsewhere years ago, and it was so fun. Glad my fiancé was able to experience it here. We may go back and feed the seals at some point!

Fantastic experience: We had a great day. It was very nice and clean with lots of nice displays. We did watch the seal show but didn't get pics because we were so interested in watching.
