🗣️ St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station: Reviews
Fantastic experience: The St. Louis Aquarium is a fun, interactive experience with over 13,000 animals, touch pools, and a walk-through shark tunnel. Great for families—engaging, educational, and easy to explore in a couple of hours! The display at the beginning was unreal!
We WHALE-y appreciate this wonderful review, Brian! We're so proud of all of our interactive exhibits and educational offerings, and we're truly thrilled to hear you enjoyed it, too! We hope to see you again in the future!
Positive experience: Very nice aquarium. Kid friendly with plenty to look at. Doesn't take too long to go through. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a little pricey but worth it. Will be a bit hot and humid if you are there in the summer months as some of it is outside air conditioning.
Hi James, thank you so much for leaving us a review! We're thrilled to hear you & your kids enjoyed exploring and interacting with our wonderful team members! We hope you'll join us again in the future!
Fantastic experience: My family had a blast there. It was our first time and we enjoyed it. It was expensive for a family of five, but it was a good experience. I did feel like the whole exhibit was short, but I enjoyed it. My favorite part was looking at the turtles. I did touch the jellyfish and that was such an amazing experience. We bought tickets online, but when we got there, there was no line. We went on a weekend. They did have an elevator so strollers are good to bring.
We're TURTLE-y STOKED to hear this, Shay! Thank you for leaving us a review (& these gorgeous pictures)! So happy you were able to enjoy all of our interactive exhibits at your own pace, and we hope to welcome you back here in the future!
Fantastic experience: very interactive and kid friendly! had a great time. Not too crowded even on Saturday afternoon
SEA-lighted to hear you & the kids have a KRILL-y good time with us, B.P.! We hope to welcome you back soon!
Positive experience: It was a cute little aquarium - definitely small for the price, in my opinion. I really enjoyed the interactive exhibits. The staff was professional and friendly. It was just smaller than I expected.
Hi Jecka, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We're thrilled you enjoyed all of our interactive touch exhibits & our wonderful team members. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback!
Positive experience: Tourist trap. Small (but nice) aquarium. Not worth the money for a day pass. Maybe if you lived in town and wanted to get an annual pass for your kids to do the interactive activities. Better off going to the zoo for free.
Hi Lori, thank you for the taking the time to leave your feedback. We're glad to hear your visit was nice even if it didn't fully meet your expectations. We totally understand value feels different for each visitor, and our goal is always to offer a uniquely interactive and linear journey whether you're local or not! We wish you many more aquatic adventures and truly appreciate hearing your thoughts!
Positive experience: Was a short route for a high price. I didn't realize we would be done in less than an hour or we would have slowed our pace.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Aaron. We’re sorry to hear that your visit was so quick! We'd love to chat about your experience further -- please feel free to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Fantastic experience: We’ve taken our 4 year old son here when he was a not even a year old and when he turned 4. He loved it both times and you can tell he was at a loss for words when he saw how big the fish were. Take your time and enjoy the aquarium because it can be very short lived if you’re in a hurry. Also, most staff were great but a couple you could tell weren’t very good or patient with children and that’s not good for a family oriented business. At the section where you could stick your hands in and let the little fish suck/nibble at your hands/fingers my 4 year old grabbed a little fish and I instantly took action and got him to release it but the old lady sitting down and younger, taller guy standing on the other end gave him such dirty looks and weren’t very understanding considering my son is a toddler. But all in all it’s always a great visit.
Bently, this picture truly makes us em-ocean-al! Thank you for taking the time to leave us such thoughtful feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your time here, but we're so sorry to hear you didn't have the kind of guest interactions we strive for. We'd love to chat with you about your visit further; please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Positive experience: It was lovely! Smaller than I was expecting but they have something for every age and interest level, loved the octopus and the otters the most
Thank you for leaving us this otter-ly amazing review, Melissa! Those animals octopi our hearts here as well, and we're so lucky to share them with people like you! We can't wait to welcome you back here soon :)
Fantastic experience: We loved the aquarium! We had an issue with one of the souvenirs and they had amazing customer service, who were more than accommodating! Highly recommended them ❤️
Jami, thank you so much for this lovely review! :) We're so happy to hear you had a fin-tastic time with us, and we hope to catch you back here in the future!
Positive experience: It's actually not a bad aquarium but it's very small, especially for the price. The touch tanks are nice and the shark tank is cool but you're done before you know it. Given how much space there is at Union Station this should be twice the size for the price they charge.
Hi Tim, thank you for leaving us a review. We appreciate hearing your feedback, and we'd love to discuss your experience further! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (314 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Negative experience: Not worth the $30+ ticket price. I brought my son & his gf, 3 tickets paid in advance. The actual aquarium building is pretty small. I thought that the entire structure that you see from the interstate was the entire aquarium. No, that entire structure is the Union Station, with restaurants, a miniature golf course, a ropes course, of course, the ferris wheel off to the side. Inside the aquarium, the only thing impressive enough to justify buying a ticket at any price is the tank with sharks. Tickets around $10 would be justified, not $30. Going to the STL Zoo, (which is free), and paying for whatever attractions you want inside, (like the stingray petting tank that you have to pay for), is a much better time.
Hi Mike, thank you for leaving your feedback. We're so sorry to hear your visit didn't meet expectations. We'd love to chat about this further; please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Fantastic experience: The aquarium is such an incredible addition to Saint Louis. My kids and I love visiting. This summer I enrolled my kids in the summer camp here and I was truly blown away. The camp staff were amazing, so kind and patient with all the kids, and I could really tell that they cared about every single camper. My kids have done dozens of different summer camps at a variety of places all over Saint Louis for years, and the summer camps here at the aquarium are by far the best! I would highly recommend parents signing their kids up for the summer camps the aquarium offers. The summer camp at the aquarium has been the highlight of my children’s summer vacation.
Thank you for this fin-tastic review, Madeline! Our Education team is so passionate about creating the most memorable & educational experiences for all of our young learners, and we're so deeply honored you chose to join us at Camp Fin & Friends this summer! We krill-y hope to see you next year! :)
Negative experience: Good aquarium just super small you can walk thru in an hr and a few of the at some of the interaction stations are rude in how they talk to guest
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so sorry to hear this! We would love to chat about your visit further; please reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] to discuss this further!
Positive experience: The union station is a unique fun location in downtown St Louis. I had been wanting to visit the aquarium since its opening. For the experience and amount of aquatic life in here I found the price to be a bit high. The aquarium and union station is well maintained and has a lot of unique structures and art throughout. As far as the amount of aquatic life I felt it was lacking diversity and tanks; it just felt small. The coolest tank is the biggest one that goes through several zones of viewing where they had a diverse amount of sea life (sharks, turtles, fish, sting rays). The coolest attraction for me was the Moon Jelly fish where you got to see them through 4 different stages (live) and then feel one. The other cool part of this self guided tour is that they had a lot of stations that allowed you to touch the aquatic life ( jelly fish, starfish, stingrays, urchins, and fish). If you have kids I would definitely recommend this adventure but be prepared to pay for it :)
Hi Adam, thank you for taking the time to leave us this thoughtful feedback. We're super happy to hear you enjoyed all of our touch tanks, as well as our Shark Canyon exhibit, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the experience and value as a whole. We hope to welcome you back here in the future as we continue evolving!
Fantastic experience: First I want to say thank you to Lydia , Claire and especially Felice for the most amazing experience. This aquarium is one of the best I’ve ever been to, the interactive exhibits hands-down are the best. Whether you have little ones or adults, everyone in your family will have a great time. The staff is amazing!! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this shrimp-ly sweet shout out to our wonderful team members, Jason! We're SEA-lighted to hear you enjoyed all of our interactive exhibits with us, and happy to hear it was fun for the whole family! We can't WAIT to welcome you back here in the future!
Fantastic experience: It’s a small aquarium. It’s nice. I don’t like the fact that the gift store is card only no cash but it’s a unique experience if you’ve never seen it.
Hi Roger, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We'rehappy to hear you enjoyed your visit, as we always strive to create a uniquely interactive experience for our guests. We also truly appreciate your feedback on our facility's cashless policy, and apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you again!
Fantastic experience: This is a hidden gem! The amount of creatures from the ocean, Amazon and other parts of the world in one place.
ADORE these pictures, Kelly, thank you so much for sharing them! We're absolutely sea-lighted to hear you enjoyed your adventure with all of our animal friends, and we hope to welcome you back here in the future!
Positive experience: It's nice. Above average interactions with the marine life. It's not as large as your average aquarium but still fun. High price for its size.
Hi Joel, thank you for leaving your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed our interactive exhibits, and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] to chat about your visit in more detail!
Positive experience: This is a very nice aquarium with lots of fun exhibits. There is a good amount of interactive things to do as well. We have had annual passes every year, since they opened, and the annual pass is well worth the price you pay. The daily passes are a little expensive, in my opinion, because the aquarium is pretty small compared to others I have been to. You can easily go through the entire aquarium in an hour.
Hi Will, thank you so much for leaving us a review! We love to hear you've been enjoying all of our interactive offerings with your Membership, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We hope to welcome you back here soon as we continue to grow!
Positive experience: Very cool place to take the kids, but seriously overpriced for what it is. The aquarium itself is nice and the littles will enjoy it, the zip line and associated harnessed climb area is cool, the mirror maze is... Well kinda lackluster and half the buttons inside were broken on top of that. We had a really good time, no doubt, but at the price per ticket, I was expecting more. More aquarium exhibits for certain, more to do and see inside the building, more included with the supposedly all inclusive ticket.
Hi David, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so glad you enjoyed the aquarium, and we appreciate your feedback on Union Station as a whole. We'll check into our Mirror Maze buttons to ensure they're all in working order! We'd also love to discuss your visit further; please feel free to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Fantastic experience: Very nice little aquarium. About an hour and a half to two hours to go through, unless you spend a lot of time at anything specific. Normally I'd say the price is high for what you get, BUT...this is obviously a great learning / teaching environment, with a lot of touching exhibits.
Hi Phillip, thank you so much for this sea-weet review & all of these wonderful pictures! We're eel-ated to hear you enjoyed all of our interactive touch exhibits and hope to welcome you back here in the future!
Negative experience: This was our first time visiting Saint Louis aquarium at union station. The entrance was beautiful we liked the koi fish pond. Upon entering you’re greeted when you check in asked if you would like a picture in front of their sea projection display(which will cost 25-30$ later) just for the one picture. They have a cool light show before entering “the train” but everything else after that seemed so underwhelming. There’s cool interactive spots here and there for the kids but there wasn’t much to look at. You can probably finish walking through in less than an hour and for as expensive as the tickets were I don’t think it was worth it, let alone parking is also expensive and on the website it stated parking was only 5$ but we ended up paying more. I don’t believe we will return just because it’s unreasonably expensive and quite frankly not that much to do unless you pay extra for the other activities.
Hi Liz, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're so sorry your visit didn't meet expectations! With every Aquarium ticket, you can validate your pass in the Gift Shop when you exit the Aquarium, making your total cost to park $5 for the day; we apologize for any misunderstanding on this! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] to discuss your visit further.
Fantastic experience: This aquarium was unique compared to any other we've been to so far. It was multiple levels and cool things to see on each one. The otter experience with Tommy was absolutely fabulous. You could touch a lot of unique animals as well.
INK-CREDIBLE pictures of our otters, Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing them with us! We're thrilled to hear you loved your visit with us, including all of our interactive offerings with our animal friends! We hope to catch you back here soon!
Fantastic experience: Amazing attractions, realsitic videos of animals they don't have and places to do slow-mo's and selfies
Thank you for this kind review, as well as these incredibly stunning pictures! We're so sea-lighted you enjoyed your time with us & hope to catch you back here soon!
Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful time here. Place wasn't busy. Love that it has all the interactive things to do with the grandkids. We fed turtles and touched stingrays and jellyfish. Everything they had was great, would have loved it if they had more because we enjoyed it so much
Micah, thank you for this sea-riously fabulous review (and adorable pictures)! We're so happy you & the grandkids had a blast with our interactive exhibits, and hope you'll join us again in the future for more offerings and aquatic adventures!
Positive experience: Aquarium is laid out as if it's an aquarium in a mall. The entry price is a bit high for the size of the aquarium however there's many interactive parts and many talks to listen to which make it worth it.
Hi Jo, thank you for taking the time to share your review! We're so happy you enjoyed all of our interactive exhibits and educational offerings, and we really appreciate your thoughtful feedback. We hope you'll join us again in the future!
Positive experience: Pretty cool but not for the price, which was advertised as much less on the website.
Hi Nick, thank you leaving your feedback, and apologies for any confusion! The price of tickets listed on our website is the same price in-person, and you can select the date you'd like to visit to confirm the cost! Please feel free to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] for any clarifications!
Negative experience: Wasn't worth the price of admission. Took less than 30 min to walk through the entire thing. The place was clean and had the usual selection of critters to look at, but for over a hundred dollars for 4 people I would have expected to see a lot more.
Hi Phillip, we're so sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. We would love to chat about your visit further; please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Fantastic experience: A smaller aquarium but lots of interactive exhibits and an ambassador stage where they bring out a different animal on a regular schedule. It was very cool to see the sloth that closely and to be able to ask lots of questions. We had a fun time!
We're so happy you stayed for one of our Animal Ambassador shows, Vanessa! Our team members have a blast showing off our incredible animal friends every day! We hope you'll visit us again soon!
Fantastic experience: Since the tornado that hit on May 16th caused us to change our plans to go to the Zoo, the fam thought we'd try the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station. And we really enjoyed it. Being from the Springfield area, we have been to the WOW aquarium at Bass Pro multiple times. Naturally, one wants to compare all aquariums to that. While much smaller than WOW, the St. Louis Aquarium is a great place to watch and learn about all kinds of river and sea critters. We loved the simulated "train ride" narratived by St. Louis's own John Goodman. (Mrs. HB noted WOW could benefit from such advanced technology.) The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. And the hands-on portions put a smile on everyone's face. So the question is, is the St. Louis Aquarium worth the price? I think it was. Can you speed through there in 20 minutes? Sure you can. But you can easily spend 2 hours or more enjoying the well thought out experience. Note: The gift store prices are a little pricey for what it is. I understand it's a "tourist destination", but they really need to consider a "clearance section" or something. Folks with $10 or under to spend on souvenirs are going to be hard pressed to find much.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this deeply thoughtful review! We're truly sorry your original plans were diverted with the recent weather, but happy to hear you and your family were safe and able to come visit us! We're also delighted you enjoyed the level of immersion and interaction we are proud to offer, including your interactions with our wonderful team members. We hope the rest of your time in St. Louis was similarly fin-tastic! :)
Fantastic experience: The annual membership pays for itself. My girlfriend and I have been many times since purchasing and we LOVE IT. Erick is our favorite, he is very knowledgeable and always makes it a fun experience. WE LOVE THE AQUARIUM
Ben, thank you for this incredibly sea-weet review and fin-tastic picture of Chewy! We are so lucky to have Erick on our team, and Members as wonderful as you! We hope to welcome you back soon!
Fantastic experience: The aquarium In saint louis is one of the most interactive aquariums I’ve visited! You can touch sharks, touch and FEED stingrays, touch jellies, anemones, urchins, and my favorite… (drumroll) Sea Stars! The animals you can’t touch… you can feed like the turtles! They have dive shows, presentations with live animals on stage and opportunities to tour the backstage areas of the aquarium! My favorite animal is their giant pacific octopus !
Thank you for this turtle-ly beautiful picture, Tylan, and this fin-tastic review! We're so thrilled you've enjoyed all of our interactive exhibits; it's truly the best part! We hope to see you soon!
Negative experience: Honestly this is a skip. My children are 4 and 6 and were not impressed at all. They were bored within a few minutes. We left feeling extremely disappointed. Oh also don't let anything happen to your parking slip. It was POURING down rain and ours got wet and wouldn't scan. We had to pay a $40 "lost ticket" fee. Even though it wasn't lost but just wouldn't scan. So between $31 and some change a person and the parking fee we spent $200 for an hour at most. Never making this mistake again!
Hi, we are so sorry to hear this happened! Please call us at (314) 923-3900 or email us at [email protected] so that we can address this with you!
Fantastic experience: I'm glad that we decided to go here. It's not large but the quality of the exhibits makes up for it. The interactive exhibits were our favorites, like the otter screen and the diver in the shark tank. The employees are friendly and informative. We had a GREAT time, seriously. We got there early Saturday morning and spent about 3 hours wandering around. When we left, the line was quite long. **bring your parking ticket in to get it validated. We saved $10.
Nikki, we're so SEA-lighted you enjoyed your visit with us! We're very proud of our interactive exhibits (& our wonderful team members) and happy that you loved them as much as we do! Great tip on parking -- with every Aquarium Day Pass you can validate your ticket in the Gift Shop, making the total cost to park your car $5 for the day! We hope to welcome you here again soon!
Fantastic experience: Amazing throughout, small children were mesmerized. Not a super large aquarium it was an pretty awesome experience.. The aquarium is a must to if you visit or live in Saint Louis. The aquarium exhibits were outstanding. This place is well kept.
Vera, thank you for this very sea-weet review! We're so thrilled your visit was as awe-inspiring to you as it feels to us! We hope to catch you back here soon!
Fantastic experience: We LOVED the aquarium!! The beginning starts with this interactive train ride that reminds me of the Howarts express at Universal. It's definitely one of my favorite things at the aquarium. We were able to pet the rays. We also touched an anemone, a starfish, a sea urchin, and we had the fish eat our dead skincells from our hands! Do not miss the otter feeding! It's definitely worth it! The place is well planned, the areas flow pretty seamlessly, and you get to see a lot of cool tanks with all sorts of amazing creatures! The shark tank was enormous and had so many cool fish! The aquarium also has some kid areas for kids to play, and the gift shop had a lot of fun things to buy.
Thank you for this otter-ly wonderful review, Edith, as well as these GORGEOUS pictures! We're so happy you enjoyed all of our interactive touch tanks, and that you were able to really take your time in each exhibit! Great point about our otter feedings, we agree this is a MUST! We hope to welcome you back here soon!
Positive experience: The aquarium itself is very well taken care of and makes for a great visit. However, the outside area felt a bit empty and dull though I think that was more due to the specific day and time I went. The fish pond outside could use a little attention; the algae buildup along the sides was pretty overwhelming. Aside from that, the surrounding area looked nice overall. The gift shop inside was a pleasant surprise lots of fun items and the prices weren’t too bad. I ended up choosing a turtle toy (because I love turtles, lol). Admission was a bit pricey per person, but if you have kids, I’d definitely recommend it as a fun and educational outing.
Hi Rell, thank you so much for this review (and these turtle-ly cool pictures). We're so happy you enjoyed your time here in the Aquarium, and we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your thoughts on the experience as a whole! We hope you'll give us a visit again soon — this time with a beautifully refreshed outdoor area! Thank you again!
Positive experience: It was ok. $70 for 2 adults. We were on a date and were in and out in 30 min. It would have been nice to walk through with a cocktail, but were told no. Nice, but small selection of aquatic life. The best part of our experience was the staff in the hands on area. They were ALL very knowledgeable and passionate. They were excited to tell us about what was in their area, and they encouraged us to touch, pet, and observe, while educating us on how to do it all correctly and why. This ended up being our favorite part. Will probably visit area of Union Station again, but not necessarily go through the aquarium portion again.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, Sarah. We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed our interactive exhibits and our passionate team members, but we're so sorry your visit didn't meet expectations. Please do not hesitate to call us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] to discuss your experience further. Thank you again!
Fantastic experience: My family and I had a good time there. It was more than what I expected. The place was clean and dry. Most aquariums are wet and fishy smelling. All the exhibits were full and lively. Even the Union Station was a cool place to hang out.
Thank you for this stellar review, Andrew! We're thrilled you enjoyed your visit us, and happy to hear you made the most of your time here. We hope to SEA you again soon!
Negative experience: Meh. There’s mostly aquarium fish. Was not super impressed. We all left feeling disappointed also it’s in a bad area! Had a very disturbed homeless guy run up to our car as we were leaving. Multiple homeless camps surrounding the area as well. Nothing outside was really open.
Hi Kindel, we're so sorry to hear this happened! We would like to discuss this further — please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected].
Positive experience: Definitely lacking in the aquarium, especially if you just go to the aquarium - it’s $33 per person and there isn’t that much to really see. If you have younger kids/kids in general, everything else seems like a really good time. We just came for the aquarium (wheel wasn’t running due to weather). I can say I went, but definitely won’t come back with those prices
Hi Lauren, thank you for leaving us a review. We're very sorry your experience did not match your expectations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] or (314) 923-3900 to discuss your visit further. Thank you again.
Positive experience: Its expensive, but a fun experience on a rainy day. Little ones will enjoy this more than bigger kids. Worth a trip.
Thank you for joining us during these rainy days, Justin! We hope to SEA you again soon!
Positive experience: Why would you like this aquarium?: 1. The steampunk/industrial themeing woven throughout the aquarium tanks and stations is eye-catching and immersive. 2. There are many activities for children to do. 3. People without experience with Missouri's native fish will get an up close and personal view. Why would you not like this aquarium?: 1. The aquarium is small, and its attractions are lacking. If the price was lower, this would balance out, but when comparing it to other aquariums' value, it just doesn't cut it. 2. Their sea animal selection is nothing new. You can see almost every species in this aquarium in almost any other major aquarium. In many situations, the octopus, for example, i believe other aquariums exhibit the animals in a more viewer friendly way. 3. The section for local fish is too large. This is probably only a negative for people accustomed to MO fish. 4. There are too many activities directed towards children. Overall, I'd say you should visit if you either: 1. Have never experienced a major aquarium before. With no prior experience, I think the St. Louis aquarium would be jaw-dropping. 2. If you have children.
Hi Dan, thank you for taking the time to leave this thoughtful review! We're glad you found the experience interactive and engaging. We also appreciate your feedback, as we aim to make each visit mesmerizing and educational for everyone who joins us. Thank you as well for these stunning pictures — we deeply appreciate them!
Positive experience: Our large family visited here . It was pretty fascinating & the grandchildren enjoyed it. Priced high per person, I thought for a small place. But enjoyable, we waited over an hour for a table to eat. Then the prices were outrageous, so we left.
Hi Sue, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're happy you enjoyed your experience at the Aquarium, but we're so sorry about troubles with dining! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected] to discuss this further. Thank you again.
Positive experience: This was my first time visiting this aquarium, and I had a great experience. The exhibits were vibrant and full of fascinating marine life. While I think the overall setup is more suited for younger children, I still had a wonderful time exploring everything with my kids.
Gorgeous pictures, Shamapti, thank you for sharing these with us! We're SEA-lighted to hear you and the kids enjoyed your visit with us. We hope to welcome you all back here soon!
Positive experience: Had a good time, we all loved the touch tanks and hands on things to do around the aquarium. (Where else can you pet a jellyfish?) I think it costs about twice as much as it should- I definitely can’t find it in my budget to go very often. But it’s cool nonetheless. One tip they didn’t tell me: take your parking ticket in with you.. You can validate your ticket in the gift shop and it knocks some of the price off parking. Also, you’ll need a credit card. They don’t take cash or tap for the parking lot.
Thank you for your feedback, Kori! We're SEA-lighted to hear that you all enjoyed the touch tanks and interactive exhibits and agree that any place you can pet a jellyfish is a KRILL-y cool place! Thank you as well for sharing these helpful tips for visitors — we'll make sure to better communicate our validated parking passes for all Aquarium guests in the future!
Fantastic experience: Kids loved it! Soda fountain restaurant was really good. Great prices and great service. A must go to place with kids of all ages. All access pass gets you to everything. Well worth the price!!
Ashley, thank you for this FIN-tastic review! We're thrilled you and the kids had a wonderful experience at Union Station, and happy you made the most of your visit with our bundled combo tickets! We hope to welcome you back soon!
Positive experience: Honestly I was disappointed in this aquarium. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt usually, but didn't love this. We spent about an hour and did everything there was to do, so it seemed to be a steep price for what was included. The highlight was being about to touch the manta rays and fish. But overall you could walk through this in 10 minutes and see about everything there is to see. The theatrics and novelty was good for kids, but I expected a bit more variety of animals and size for the price.
Hi Ken, we're so sorry to hear you were disappointed with your visit. We would love to chat with you further about your experience — please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Positive experience: Good place for young kids. Lots of activities for them. But older kids might not have that much fun. The petting portion was fun or my older child and she enjoyed seeing the otters and sting rays.
Hi Bethany, thank you for sharing your review, as well as these beautiful photos. We're very happy to hear you and your family had a fin-tastic time with us! We appreciate your feedback, as our aim is to create a wonderful experience for all ages. We hope to see you again soon!
Fantastic experience: It was an overall enjoyable experience. The sea life that were housed there was very interesting. We had a baby stingray determined to splash us with water from their pool. They had a beautiful jellyfish population that children could touch without being stung. There were sharks and other underwater sea life that were really interesting. I'd recommend taking your children or grandchildren.
Shunniketa, thank you for making us laugh by sharing your experience with our rambunctious baby stingrays! We hope you didn't get splashed too hard! We're so glad you enjoyed all of our interactive exhibits, and hope you'll give us (including our young stingrays) a visit again soon!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place. I've never been to an aquarium with fish as active and joyful. Highly recommend.
Talianna, we ADORE this review & we're so happy to hear you had a wonderful time with our very playful animal friends! Thank you for taking the time to share this with us — we can't wait to welcome you back for more underwater adventures!
Positive experience: We drove about 3 hours to get there. The fish were cool. My kids enjoyed it. We really enjoyed all the pet tanks and feeding the stingrays. Then we got to the gift shop and the ladies at the checkout refused to give us a second bag despite spending 250 on tickets to the aquarium and then another 80 dollars at the gift shop , even though all of our souvenirs wouldn’t fit in one bag. The lady ended up yelling at my husband before handing over a second bag. Then we went to the Ferris wheel and they were closed for 30 minutes so we waited and then after the 30 minutes they still didn’t know when they’d be open again. Which I understand it’s windy they’re trying to keep us all safe. My mom went in and asked if they could give us a refund on the Ferris wheel and they said sure, cool she ran outside to get the card we used from my husband and then got back in line. When she got back to the front a different guy refused to give us the partial refund saying we could come back within 90 days. Cool but that doesn’t work for us as we are here on a day trip from out of state plus they already said it was fine. Yet again they managed to really ruin the experience by getting angry and arguing back and forth despite already saying it was fine. Lastly, we went to the train shed for lunch (another 200 dollars spent) service there was great but the food didn’t taste that great chicken was over cooked, cheeseburgers lacked flavor in my option.
Hi Melissa, thank you for leaving your feedback. We're very glad you and your kids enjoyed our exhibits, but we're so sorry to hear about your experience otherwise. We would love to discuss this further — please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again.
Positive experience: I think it’s a little pricey! I spent $402.00 for three adults and three children. Getting into the aquarium itself is $30 but in order to make a day of it, you need to purchase the package. Overall had a blast!!
Hi Christina, thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate it, and are delighted to hear you enjoyed your day with us! Thank you for these incredible pictures as well!
Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this aquarium. I thought it was really nice. Lots of beautiful sea life. I really enjoyed all the hands on activities. I feel like it’s geared more to younger kids but at the same time I really enjoyed myself. The entry in was reasonable as well,
Colleen, these pictures are absolutely SEA-sational! Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed our interactive exhibits, and we're happy to hear your entry was quick & efficient. We hope to welcome you back soon!
Positive experience: The combo deal at this place, which includes the Ferris wheel, makes it worth it. The aquarium itself has two floors. This place is more geared toward kids, as it features many interactive activities. It was cool that they had various touch-friendly animals like jellyfish and stingrays. They also have scheduled times when they bring out animals for visitors to see up close and ask questions about. Since the aquarium is small, you can probably get through it in about an hour and a half if you take your time. However, it can get very busy.
Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our interactive exhibits and animal ambassador shows! We also deeply appreciate your thoughtful feedback on the aquarium as a whole and would love to discuss this further at (314) 923-3900 or [email protected]. Thank you again!
Fantastic experience: Went her for a weekend spring break trip with the family. We all had a good time. Kept us busy for about 2 hours. Plus the outdoor entertainment could keep you busy a couple more hours. Fun for all ages. The rope course was a blast. Great place to take the kids for a day of fun. Don’t forget to ride the Ferris wheel I wish we would have ride it at night because it’s all lit up.
Brandon, we love to hear you and the kids had a KRILL-y good time with us! We're honored you chose to visit us during your spring break trip, and so glad we lived up to the hype! We hope to see you the next time you join us in STL!
Fantastic experience: I had a really good at this aquarium with my family! The place is easily accessible, it was not even hard to find a parking spot (even tho it was on a Saturday) clean, and very good maintained too! The aquarium workers were nothing but incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, like for every spot you were stopping by they will explain to you what each different fish & aquatic animal do, they also have dynamics that you can interact with some of the animals from the aquarium, making the visit even more interesting! There are plenty of different facilities where you can explore and see a wide variety of fish and aquatic animals. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking to get out of the dairy routine☺️ Oh & not to forget that they have military discount! We use our military discount & we payed (4 of us) $29 per person
Helen, thank you for this deeply kind review! We are so happy to hear you & your family had a WHALE of a time with us, and we truly appreciate your kudos to our wonderful team members! We hope to see you again soon!
Positive experience: This is a might fine place. The four star rating is unfair because I compare it too other Aquariums that are larger and much less expensive. Still my 16 year old gran, works at a children's museum each summer said that the experiential component more than makes up for the size. He valued the serene meditative qualities and the ability to touch and learn.
Clo, thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback. We appreciate your perspective and are happy to hear your grandson enjoyed the experiential aspects of our aquarium. We always aim to provide a uniquely interactive experience for all guests, and we're glad to hear this resonated!
Negative experience: The aquarium was nice but you get rushed though the space and there is no notice that once you enter the shark aquarium you will be exiting the aquarium which was a bummer since there were a few things we wanted to go back and see again. If you get motion sickness the entrance will be an issue as you do a simulated train ride in to the aquarium. Overall for the price it was very underwhelming.
Hi Leah, we're glad you enjoyed the aquarium but so sorry to hear you felt rushed during your visit! We do our best to keep a clear flow of traffic during busy days for the safety and viewing experience of our guests, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback. We'd love to discuss this further— please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 313-4166 or at [email protected].
Positive experience: This place was neat and my kids loved how many interactive activities there were. I will say for the price I thought this activity would take up more of our day.
Kristin, we truly appreciate your feedback as we continue to expand our exhibits. Sea-lighted to hear you enjoyed all of our interactive exhibits, and hope you'll check us out again in the future. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review!
Positive experience: This place is interesting. The best part IMO is the Dr Fish. They tickle the heck out of your hands. It is a pretty short lived journey when you factor in the cost. Although, if you have time and can schedule ahead, you can get some better deals by getting the combo tickets ahead of your arrival.
Hi Johnathan, thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We're very happy to hear you enjoyed our Dr. Fish — they're pretty unforgettable!
Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time here. Barely any wait for activities, everything was available, and the kids had a great time. Membership is absolutely worth it if you go more than once in a year.
SHELL-OVE these pictures, Rebecca! Thank you for this shrimp-ly delightful review. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us!
Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! All the staff was Sooo knowledgeable and were excited to answer any questions my husband and I had while going through the exhibits. The fact you get touch and feed so many of the animals is unlike any other aquarium I've been to. The staff made the place feel inviting and friendly. That's what made the day for us.
Thank you for this FIN-tastic review, J! We're absolutely thrilled to hear you enjoyed your interactions with both our team members and our animal friends —sharing our passion with guests like you is a true joy! We hope to see you again soon!
Positive experience: We visited with 4 adults & 5 children. Two of the adults were not included in our membership, so a time had to be reserved when purchasing those tickets. I would have thought that with reservations, they wouldn't have been as crowded as they were. We did miss some exhibits because there were so many people in that area. With that being said, we had a fairly minimal wait to get in. The areas were all clean. The staff were all polite & knowledgeable. The animals were all healthy looking. Overall, it was a fun experience. I highly recommend the interactive exhibits. The stingrays were quite playful!
Hi Stacie, thank you for leaving this review. We're so sorry it felt a bit too crowded, but we're so happy to know you enjoyed all of the comm—OCEAN our stingrays love to cause! We hope you'll join us again in the future.
Negative experience: Overpriced and underwhelming. The coolest part was the screen in the waiting area. The exhibits are spaced out with lots of walls between. Crowding was still excessive despite crowd control measures. They allow you to touch animals without washing hands first because of a broken sink, putting the animals in danger. I’ve visited far better aquariums. If it had been a $10-15 ticket I would’ve been happy, but being priced over $30 for one ticket for what it was ended up being a disappointment.
Hi Savana, we're glad you enjoyed some of the unique technology showcased in our Aquarium experience. We apologize for any high-volume traffic, that is certainly not our goal! While our linear journey helps us maintain crowd levels, it can be difficult to plan for high-volume weekends and holidays. We'd love for you to visit us again, please reach out to [email protected] to discuss your other concerns.
Positive experience: Fanatic place to bring the kids! It is really cool that they fit an aquarium in the train station, but with that being said there is only so much to see and experience as they don't have any room to grow. The price of the tickets is costly for admission but there are many interactive areas for the kids as well as a variety of animals.
Gorgeous photos, Savanna! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts — we're always growing and expanding our exhibits, and we hope to share our new offerings with you on your next visit!
Fantastic experience: Great place to take little ones. If you are looking for a fun outing for a rainy day or cold day the St. Louis aquarium is your choice. If you are visiting St. Louis, it’s a great place for kids. I specifically recommend for toddlers from 2-5 years old. It’s big enough for them to be entertained but not too big get lost. All staff have been friendly every time we visit. If you live in St. Louis area I would recommend the membership. My family loves the St. Louis aquarium.
Thank you so much for leaving this wonderful review, Deborah! Our staff SHELL-oves our guest interactions, and we deeply appreciate your kind words. We hope to catch you here again soon!
Positive experience: I will echo the other reviews in saying that the tickets here are way overpriced for what it gets you. It’s a pleasant experience, but a full price adult ticket should be no more than $20. There are large aquariums that charge less with loads more to do. Also, the target demographic is definitely elementary school kids and below.
Andrew, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We truly appreciate your feedback and are very sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. We'd love to chat further — please feel free to give us a call at (314) 923-3900 or email us at [email protected]. Thank you again!
Fantastic experience: Octopus, sharks and otters, oh my. It's a great place to take kids. The tanks are large, the second floor you get to touch the sea life, imagine being in bioluminescence water, overall great place
Peggy, we SHELLOVE this review & these pictures are KRAKEN us up! Thank you for taking the time to write this. We hope to welcome you back here soon!
Positive experience: This was a fantastic place to explore and learn about marine life! While the admission price felt a bit steep for adults visiting on their own, it’s absolutely worth it for families. The exhibits were engaging, and though it didn’t take too long to walk through, there was plenty to see and do. The highlight was definitely the interactive touch tanks and hands-on activities, which made it a perfect destination for kids to enjoy and discover the wonders of the ocean up close!
We think you're absolutely FIN-tastic, Travis! Thank you for this review —we're so happy to hear you and your family enjoyed our interactive exhibits & all of the JAW-some animals of the sea!
Fantastic experience: Hands-on experiences with sea life were awesome. Kids loved it. They pet jellyfish, starfish, sting rays (and fed). There are play areas that encourage active play.
Cassandra, absolutely sea-lighted you and the kids enjoyed your visit! We are so proud to share our interactive exhibits with guests that love our animal friends as much as we do! Thank you for this kind review and that beautiful photo!
Fantastic experience: Really great place for a date. Beautiful aquariums with interesting sea life.
We agree — date nights can get em-OCEAN-al here at the Aquarium! Thank you for this sweet review, Renda!
Fantastic experience: Great for kids and adults. A bit pricey...but i thought overall was a good experience.
We're happy to hear you and the family had a blast, Mike! Thank you for sharing these FIN-tastic pictures as well — we hope to catch you here again soon!
Positive experience: The St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station was an enjoyable experience, but I felt it was a bit lacking for the $33 per person price tag. The exhibits and displays were nicely done and it was great to see the variety of aquatic life up close. The staff was friendly and informative as well. However, I expected a bit more in terms of the size and scope of the aquarium given the admission cost. It felt a bit on the smaller side and we were able to see most of it in about an hour. I would have liked to see more interactive elements or a larger collection of marine life to justify the higher price point. Overall, it's a solid aquarium and worth a visit if you're in the area, but I wish there was a bit more to see and do for the money. I'd recommend checking it out, but maybe look for any discounts or package deals to get the most value. 4 stars for the quality experience, but 3 stars for the value.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your honest feedback, DéShaun, and for including all of these wonderful photos! Happy to hear about your positive experiences with our team members and our diverse aquatic friends!
Positive experience: Totally enjoyed the St.Louis Aquarium at Union Station! It was very interesting and was able to see the animals being fed. Do have a few suggestions to make it a 5 star rating. We totally missed “the train” which apparently is a movie and shows how this aquarium was built. Would have loved to see this movie even if it was short. Next, I see there is some type of equipment that does not work by each visual area of the aquatics. I believe it was interactive equipment to give you, the guest, more facts and info about the scene you are viewing. Some of these areas had very knowledgeable people to give you information and answer any questions, but not all areas had someone at each so called “station”. That’s where interactive equipment would be very helpful. All the people we spoke to who worked there were very professional and very good at their jobs. Great experience and would suggest it’s a wonderful daytime event!
Hi Ann, thank you for taking the time to review us. We're so sorry you missed our interactive train ride, but we're delighted that you enjoyed watching the animals get fed -- we're sure they LOVED it just as much! Thank you for these otter-ly amazing pictures as well!
Positive experience: My 11-year-old son loved it! All the hands-on experiences were great. I had never touched a jellyfish before. My son gave it an 11 out of 1-10. I gave it 4 stars because it is too expensive, and it could use a few improvements. When they feed the otter it is standing room only and being short like me and my son we couldn't see anything. That is the down side to a few of the exhibits -- trying to see everything with people in front of you.
Melissa, thank you for these FIN-tastic pictures & SEA-weet review! We're honored by your son's stellar rating, and so sorry you weren't able to get a good look at our otters! We (including the otters) hope to see you both in the future!
Fantastic experience: Full disclosure, rating as a parent with a small child. For kids, this place rocks. Between the interactive exhibits and kids area, you can find yourself letting little ones keep busy for hours if you really want. The huge water table would have kept my kid entertained all day if we would have let him. (Additional info after nearly a year membership: our trips now are significantly shorter. We went through in record speed recently, ~20 minutes. My kid still wants to go often, but it's not as much of a time burner as before) For adults only, likely not worth the cost. You will likely be all the way through in well under an hour.
Fantastic experience: We had a great time as it was perfect for the rainy weather outside. It’s not too big and is very educational in so many ways. Definitely worth a visit!
Hi Chris, we're so happy you and your family chose to visit us during these rainy St. Louis days! Thank you for this kind review and these great photos -- we're delighted to hear that you all found your time here both fun & insightful!
Fantastic experience: This is probably the coolest aquarium I've ever been to. They have several interactive experiences with the fish and aquatic life. You can touch jellyfish and sea anemones! The staff was very friendly and informative. The environment was extremely clean but there was a fishy smell (to be expected, you're literally there to see fish). I would do this again 100 times.
Thank you for this FIN-tastic review, Anna! We're so delighted you enjoyed our interactive exhibits and our wonderful staff. We look forward to welcoming you back 100 times over!
Fantastic experience: Great experience, cool variety of animals, impressive shark tank and a really big selection for touch tanks. Awesome place to bring kids to spark their interest in animals or marine biology.
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: The STL Aquarium at Union Station is a must-visit! The exhibits are engaging and informative, with plenty of interactive displays where you can touch the sea life, making it fun for all ages. The atmosphere is immersive and well-designed, offering a great experience for families or anyone interested in marine life. Overall, a fantastic experience that’s both educational and entertaining! Pro tip: Arrive early if you want stress-free parking off Market and 18th—parking can get tricky later in the day. Discounted $5 parking offered if you validate the ticket at the aquarium gift shop.
Positive experience: Very clean, well maintained aquarium. Doesn't have as many exhibits as I thought St. Louis would have, but there are several touch spots for kids to get hands on with sea life. Overall definitely glad we stopped and checked it out.
Fantastic experience: Just amazing! Smaller than I was expecting but it sure packed in a lot to admire. It is well thought out and the train ride was fun way to start. There are a lot of interactive exhibits. We loved petting the stingrays and jellyfish and having the doctor fish nibble at our fingers. The archerfish are truly amazing to watch spit their food out of the air. The otters were also so fun to watch being fed. Each interactive exhibit had someone that would explain what they were doing and a bit about each animal. We also talked to a trainer about how armadillos and how smart they truly are while watching Chico playing with toys that hid her meals. Once you get around to the fish tanks you will see a wide range of fish up close and personal. We were sad to see the Octopus was hiding behind the leaves. The attendant said they may try and get him to come out in a bit but we went back about a hour and a half or so later and he was still hiding. Did catch a glimpse of his arm but that was it. Over all tho it was a fun and educational experience. Well worth every penny. We will be back.
Fantastic experience: Our little one had an unforgettable day at the Aquarium! Took a magical train ride ;) where we heard and saw so many fun things along with a story narrated by John Goodman. A quick dip with Doctor Fish got our hands squeaky clean, and we joined in birthday celebrations with Tommy the Otter. We marveled at all kinds of sea life—tropical fish, majestic sharks, graceful stingrays, and gentle turtles. Highlights included meeting Lord Stanley the Lobster and learning about the Jelly Fish. We also created our own fish and stingray and uploaded them into the LED Aquarium Wall. Had so much fun in Shark Canyon where we saw a bunch of sea life. We even saw them cleaning the tank which was pretty cool. We left by saying goodbye to Loki the Octopus. Had the option to purchase a photo from when we came in, we did buy a sticker and an otter for our daughter who was in awww with the otters! 12:20pm-2:20pm
Positive experience: The St. Louis Aquarium is an amazing destination that truly captivates from the moment you arrive. Upon entry, we were welcomed into a room with a magical, whimsical ambiance, setting the tone for an enchanting experience. After a brief wait, we were invited into a unique rectangular room designed to feel like a moving train, complete with a row of seats in the center and projection screens on either side. The immersive effects made it feel just like a real train ride, and to our surprise, the train suddenly began to "fly" and then dive into water, transporting us straight into the heart of the aquarium. From there, we encountered fascinating fish that shoot water to catch insects, along with a variety of snakes, frogs, and a delightful interactive show featuring an otter. We even had the chance to place our hands in a tank where tiny fish nibbled at the dead skin—a surprisingly funny and ticklish experience! As we continued, we were in awe of the diverse marine life, from sharks to countless types of fish. The hands-on experience of touching the smooth stingrays and anemones added an extra layer of excitement. The St. Louis Aquarium is an unforgettable place to visit, perfect for families and friends alike. With plenty of restaurants nearby, it’s easy to extend your day with a nice meal afterwards. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: WOW!!! This place is amazing. The displays they have in there are phenomenal. You can feed turtles and pet stingrays!! Some of these photos are from a few years ago, but I would imagine things haven’t changed to drastically. I really enjoyed the jellyfish enclosures as well as the shark/fish enclosure they had. I would recommend going without kids, it’s way more enjoyable. The gift shop is decently priced as well. The tickets are cheaper than most aquariums. if you are in the St. Louis area, I very highly recommend swinging by here for the day!!
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: My husband and I LOVED it there!! We did the Super Six passes. We went to the Aquarium first, which is interactive and awesome, we bought souvenirs after. Then we went to the Train Shed for lunch. Next, my husband went on the ropes course. He did the ziplines! Then we went through the A-maze-ing maze. Which is a maze with educational stops AND a fun house, which was great!! Then we played 18 holes of mini golf. Last we went on the St. Louis (Ferris) Wheel!! There is a giant pond with colorful fish in it as well. I think they are Koi fish. We feed them with the food in the machines provided. There was so much to do that we could have stayed there for a lot longer, but we were tired. Lol. There was a car show there that day too!!
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: It's a really neat experience. Starting off with the (John Goodman?) narrated virtual train ride was a nice start to the aquarium that's in Union Station. The exhibits they have are amazing. The tutorials and live interactions are good. There are a handful of hands-on experiences like feeding turtles, touching starfish, urchins, stingrays, crabs, bamboo sharks, and letting doctor fish clean you. I was expecting the quantity to be more for the price of admission. But again, the quality is great. 10/12/2024 update: Price has significantly increased. New selfie exhibit. We commented we wouldn't pay money to do the exhibit alone. It was part of the Super Six.
Positive experience: Such a great experience. The entry was so fun. The cost to park was too bad, but there were so many things to see without a fear of issues.
Fantastic experience: What a creative way to repurosing a train station! Pro tip: bring your parenting ticket with you! Because in the gift shop for the aquarium there is a 5 buck off parking scan! There is plenty to see! Plenty to take pictures of! The employees were super friendly and helpful. Don't forget they decorate for holidays! Sometimes there are scavenger hunts! Don't forget all the kids arts and crafts! My favorite was the spitting fishes and the sharks! Highly recommend!
Thanks for visiting!
Positive experience: This aquarium started out so incredible. The entrance is great with a jaw-dropping centerpiece, train simulation and wonderful greeter. Once we started going through it, we were even more impressed. Such cool aspects from sound effects, to a toddler play area and more. The reason I am giving this three stars is because we drove over four hours to visit this aquarium and it took us less than 45 minutes to go through the whole thing. It was SO much smaller than we expected. It literally just ended right after the shark area and we were very disappointed. I asked the ladies at the gift shop if we could go back through and they said no. It was such a let down because we were there for my toddler’s birthday and it was such a small aquarium. I would say, if you are in the area, it would be a fun activity to do paired with other things during the day. However, do not center your day around this because it is very small in comparison to most aquariums we’ve been to. The gift shop was severely over priced and so are the tickets in my opinion.
Fantastic experience: This was our first trip here. My son really loved it. It's not the biggest aquarium we have been to but they have a lot of interactive exhibits with the animals. I would highly recommend.
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful fish koi. They have their own big pond. Also enjoyed the ride and the ferris wheel. Very cool scenery over the city. You can see all the steeples and a good area of views. Not to mention, it's pretty exciting to be on the Ferris wheel....
Thank you for visiting!
Fantastic experience: One of the coolest places I've ever been! From the cool train ride to the exhibits to petting manta rays and jellyfish, just a totally awesome time!
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! A little on the expensive side. I thought I'd get to ride the wheel for that price. Lol $98 for 2 adults, and one teenager that's considered a adult. I'd still go again. You get to touch jelly fish, and sting rays. It's a fun place if you can afford to pay for each activity separate.
Fantastic experience: A very nice aquarium that opened at St. louis Union Station in 2019. Takes about two hours to see it and parking is not free. It was well worth the cost for tickets and parking. Check the prices on their website.
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: Definitely one of the best aquariums in America!! All themed around union station. Very interactive and stimulating. Would highly recommend!!!! So many up close encounters with the fish, turtles and more!!
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: They have the life cycle of jellyfish and you can touch the top of them. Lots of other things to touch as well. Say hi to the biggest puffer fish I've ever seen when your there there's addition purchase activities outside as well, we did mini golf, definitely purchase tickets ahead. They have packages to make it cheaper. Make sure to get your parking ticket validated in the gift shop so you only pay $5 for parking.
Thanks for visiting!
Fantastic experience: A bit on the pricy side ($100.52 for my family of 4), but had a good time. The train entry was super cute and fun, Tommy the otter was great, as was the otter show and the archer fish. Touch tanks and water table were also great (maybe bring a change of clothes). Doesn't take long to get through, make sure to make your trip to union station an all day affair by attending other exhibits than the aquarium
Thanks for visiting!
