Positive experience: Fun and educational! Loved the sharks and sea turtle. Can take your time and enjoy at your leisure. Very special place!

Negative experience: Not worth the $25 a head to me. I suppose it depends on your income level but that doesn't seem to match the experience compared to other aquariums I've been at. Perhaps it's because I grew up 2 hours from the west coast, but in all honesty, drive to the bass pro in Joplin. Much more immersive experience, serval times more educational.

Positive experience: Decent aquarium, price is a bit steep though for the experience. I understand it costs a lot to take care of all the fish animals though. Got to touch shrimp so that was pretty cool plus there's a huge sea turtle.

Fantastic experience: Took about 40 Upward Students and we had a blast! Sharks were a big hit! Love how many things you can interact with and there is such a variety of creatures to see and learn about! My teenagers loved it, but I also feel like this would be ideal for toddlers and big kids! So much to see and do for all ages! Oh the photo booth was adorable, and the gift shop almost got all of my money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: If I could rate 10 stars I would. I could spend all day in the shark tunnel, and I love all the aquatic life here!! The layout is awesome and you gotta do the vr shark dive when you go!!! Loved it!!!! Will be back!!!

Fantastic experience: The Oklahoma Aquarium is easily one of the best attractions in the Tulsa area. From the shark tunnel to the touch tanks, it’s an awesome experience for all ages. Clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly peaceful even when it’s busy. Parking was full during our visit, and I actually saw someone get stuck trying to back out — thankfully, Miklos Towing showed up and helped them without causing a scene. Fast, respectful, and clearly experienced with high-traffic locations. Always good to know a solid local company is nearby when things go sideways. Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic experience: Went here on a date with my boyfriend! Had so much fun was my first time! Such an enjoyable experience and the staff were so helpful and amazing.

Positive experience: The place is really awesome. They even have a giant pacific octopus! There are ample opportunities to touch several things and feed turtles. The experience is really great. It is also incredibly expensive for what you get to see. I would say they probably should half the price to make it worth the value. I imagine it's very expensive to run all the things, but i was left a little underwhelmed for the price.

Positive experience: This aquarium is gorgeous and is definitely worth a trip to come see! There’s lots of cool exhibits, my personal favorite being the jellyfish touch pool! However, the two girls running it were giggling and talking the entire time (I came on July 13th around 4:00), while little kids were splashing and pushing forcefully on the jellyfish. They ignored this behavior and never explained how to properly handle these animals. Ruined the experience seeing the poor jellyfish being manhandled.

Positive experience: It's a little on the expensive side. Was $65 for 2 adults and 1 child with military discount. But it was a very neat place. I've never seen an octopus as big as the one they have

But the shark tunnel is def a have to see it reminds me of animal crossing I’d give 1000 stars to the sharks and for the petable sea life. You can pet more sea life than any other aquarium I’ve visited. I want to visit again asap but it’s quite a drive 4 me. But worth it

Fantastic experience: Nice clean loved the loggerhead turtle otters and racoon weren't out during vist but that's understandable. Sound of waterfall is calming.

Fantastic experience: Great exhibits with interactive areas for jelly fish, horse show crabs, skates and sharks. There's a 4D virtual dive that allows you to experience what it would be like diving with sharks. There's an alternative mermaid experience for younger children that's also available. The ride is several minutes, however each ride would cost 10$.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time. It is decent size but the best thing to me is you get to see so much up close. There were fish there I have never seen anywhere else before. You also get to touch more than just sting rays like anywhere else I've been. There is also a decent playground outside with picnic tables which we were on a road trip so it was nice to be able to let the kids play before getting back in the car. The whole place is set up very child friendly, they have little tunnels and stuff the kids cAn go in. It was expensive though

Positive experience: Online it looked really cool to visit especially seeing the sea turtle exhibit. But once we got there it was a lot smaller than we thought. We were in and out in maybe an hour. Most touching exhibits like the stingrays and other exhibits were closed, there was only one sea turtle he was big and beautiful but for $50 for two adults and how little this place was I was pretty disappointed. This is good for little kids but I wish it had more to offer. I personally won't come back.

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice and clean aquarium in the heart of Oklahoma. Great spot to take kids, or just tour and learn. The shark exhibit is as good as most large aquariums that I've been to.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Such a wonderful variety of exhibits and interactive activities. The shark tunnel was incredible, they have axolotls, which my family adored. I loved the rays and the big turtle.

Fantastic experience: Great way to spend the day if it’s raining. Takes about three to four hours to go through and enjoy the exhibits. Also have an outdoor playground and snack bar.

Fantastic experience: We brought a group of Girl Scouts and everyone had so much fun. We all got to feed the turtles and stingrays. They got to experience the touch tanks and even take part in VR fun.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I made an afternoon of our visit and loved every minute of it. Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of other visitors. It we never felt cramped or rushed. The exhibits are wonderful and so creatively done . This was our first of many visits.

Fantastic experience: They have a bunch of little opportunities if you get the right hours (pet the jellyfish or stingrays, etc). Most of the tanks were really cool, though some of them seemed very small. Spent around $50 for two adults. Very cool shark tunnel and giant sea turtle. Lots of little tunnels for kids to crawl through. Good back deck and merry-go-round for kids as well. Spent about 2 hours there total

Negative experience: We drove up from OKC and felt pretty disappointed in the experience. It was $75 for two adults and a child. Barely took an hour to move through it. On the outside it looked pretty massive but half of the building is an event center. Coolest part was the massive sea turtle and shark tunnel. For what you pay it is disappointing from my perspective.

Positive experience: Good venue for families. Of course, the gift shop has plenty of over-priced swag. But the gifts seem to be of superior quality instead of cheap imports. It took our family 1.5 hours to casually see the exhibits. If you read every word of information you'd be there over 3 hours. Both of my kids enjoyed it. There was information for kids as well as adults. I deducted one star because their venues aren't very well organized. There were little kids running around under-foot constantly. The aquarium in Branson, MO is better organized, but you shouldn't miss this one.

Fantastic experience: A really great aquarium that compares favorably to aquariums you would find in much larger cities. They have an awesome Sea Turtle exhibit, shark tunnel and amazing fresh water and salt water displays. All the animals and displays/coral look healthy and well maintained. One of my favorite places to visit!

Positive experience: It's always very clean and nice. The only downfalls is for they're stingray petting. There's only one stingray and there's only two sharks and they do not want to be pet so it's a little rough that all the kids are upset because they want a pet a stingray.

Fantastic experience: Great for members! Good place to see some sea creatures and play! Their playground is great! A bit outdated and definitely pricey for a none time visit, but if you live near and have littles it’s a good meme investment.

Fantastic experience: The Oklahoma Aquarium is a fantastic day trip destination! We’ve been twice now and each visit has been a great experience. It’s very easy to get around, well-organized, and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I especially love that it’s never too crowded—you can explore at your own pace. Whether you want to take a couple of hours or spend the whole day, there’s plenty to enjoy with lots of hands-on activities and exhibits. Definitely worth a visit! Definitely worth the two hour trip.

Fantastic experience: Tiny but mighty in its ability to inspire and awe. This is a small aquarium, relatively compared to places like Ripley's aquarium in SC or the Monterey Bay Aquarium in CA; however this place is jam-packed with amazing features enjoyable by all ages. There are features meant for kids, like crawly hidey-holes that take you INSIDE the tank, there are multiple tidal pools where you can touch living specimens, you can pet stingrays and sharks and even feed stingrays at the designated times, there are turtles you can feed. The best and most awesome feature, however, was definitely the shark tunnel! It's incredibly awe-inspiring watching bull sharks swim directly overhead. About half the aquarium was dedicated to local flora/fauna and water biospheres. And that was really neat to see the diversity of the monster fish and animals lurking in our waterways. There is an ANCIENT alligator snapping turtle that is larger than any other turtle I've ever seen. The rest of the aquarium is mostly saltwater, but there are some REALLY well scaped and stocked tanks. If nothing else, go to see the sharks, beavers, otters, giant octopus, and the leopard moray! Even if you learn nothing, you'll get to see some really frickin' cool animals!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this Aquarium. If you take the time to look at everything, even for its size, it is worth the experience. I have been here three times over the years so far. My favorite part is the shark tunnel.

Fantastic experience: Much larger and more interactive than I expected. I'm from SoCal and it blows away the Long Beach Aquarium. Had a very unusual experience with a sea turtle that was fixated on me. The shark tunnel was really cool, sharks not as big as Sea World, but was surprised that an Aquarium had it.

Fantastic experience: We went with our school's 2nd grade class (May 2025). It was a busy day with a number of other schools attending, but the Aquarium staff made the entry very smooth and organized. -- The outdoor picnic & playground area was a lot of fun for the kids after their tour and during their lunch break. -- The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained. -- A great place for anyone, appropriate for all ages!

Fantastic experience: Not the biggest aquarium in the world but plenty of exhibits and we'll laid out. Really enjoyed the multiple hands on areas as well as being able to feed several animals. Had never seen that before in an aquarium, so that was a treat

Fantastic experience: It was amazing, my family and I all loved the sharks, the octopus and the sea turtle. Over all the experience was great, not crowded, everything (restrooms, halls, lobby) was clean. I definitely recommend it.

Negative experience: We typically have a great time. This time, not so much. We drove over two hours to pet the jellyfish. We walked in and the times to touch the jelly are posted everywhere and on the TV screen. I asked a couple of people about them only to find out that there was a couple of call in so no jellys today. Which okay but could you tell us before paying $80. Received no apology or anything. Perhaps we will go to a different aquarium from now on.

Fantastic experience: My family loved this aquarium! We had a wonderful experience. We even like it better than the Denver Aquarium. My only wish is that we could of pet the jellyfish. We missed by 30 seconds. Definitely will next time!

Fantastic experience: I've been to several aquariums, even all the way to London and this one beats em all hands down. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Tulsa area. It's especially kid friendly with tons of free parking and very handicap accessible.

Positive experience: Kids and I REALLY enjoyed the aquarium! However, $3 plus tax for a small soda with zero refills…that dampened the outing a smidge. We live over 2 hours away, paid the high dollar amount to get in, but no refills?? My kids were upset. Overall had fun.

Positive experience: This aquarium is really a step above a lot of others we've visited. A large, easy to view octopus, an adorable photogenic large sea turtle, a shark tunnel, and very clean habitats. I think there was only one tank we couldn't locate the animal. We went with an older kid but they had lots of interactive tunnels for smaller kids. They had a virtual reality shark ride that was an extra $10 per person, and a feed the sting ray station. We didn't buy anything extra but it looked fun. It was $75+tax for the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child priced as adult at 14). My only minor complaint was we took our time and it was over in an hour easily. So just a little pricey for my liking but I would definitely visit again because it's was clean and fun.

Positive experience: We have gone to many aquariums as our kids love them. This one wasn't the worst nor was it the best one we have ever been to. The big highlights for us were the massive snapping turtle, the friendly, photo friendly seaturtle, and the biggest octopus we have ever seen in an aquarium who was easy to view and very active. Price is pretty much on par with other aquariums of the same size. Wish they had actual sinks to wash hands at the touch pools and would have people rinse off before sticking their hands in. Also didn't see any shellfish allergy notice for shrimp touch pool.

Fantastic experience: I Visited the Oklahoma Aquarium in Tulsa sometime in July 2024, and it was an awesome experience. It’s a perfect spot for families, couples, or even solo visitors looking to explore marine life up close. The exhibits are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. One of the highlights is the Shark Adventure Tunnel – walking through a clear tunnel surrounded by giant bull sharks was both thrilling and mesmerizing. It’s easily the most popular exhibit, and for good reason. We also enjoyed the touch tanks, where kids (and adults!) can safely interact with stingrays and other smaller creatures. There are also sea turtles, jellyfish, otters, and many unique freshwater and saltwater species on display. The aquarium is quite educational, with helpful signs and interactive displays. Staff members were friendly and ready to answer questions. It’s also stroller and wheelchair accessible, which is great for families. There’s a café inside and a gift shop at the end with souvenirs ranging from toys to sea-themed merchandise. Parking is free and easy, and the restrooms were clean and conveniently located. Tip:Visit earlier in the day to avoid crowds and take your time exploring each section. We spent about 2 hours here and could’ve stayed longer. Definitely worth the visit if you're in or around Tulsa!

Fantastic experience: Great aquarium! Better than most. Lots of exhibits and fun for both kids and adults. The only thing we paid extra for was $5 for 2 kids to ride the carousel.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at the aquarium and it was so much fun! I really look forward to coming back again. I would preferably come back on a weekday when kids are in school because I felt a little rushed with all the little ones on spring break but it was a great time. Meeting. Seymour was amazing One thing I would change is that if they should have a separate line for people who have already bought their tickets in advance. We spent a lot of time waiting in line and had purchased our tickets well over a month before!

Fantastic experience: Excellent for a half a day event for a family! My group of 9 (ages 1, 4, 7, 9, 16 for kids) all had a great time watching, feeding and touching the exhibits.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of wheel chair accessible spots for parking, the whole place is wheel chair friendly and kid friendly. The stars are obviously the sharks, but if you love ocean life you'll have a great time. There are plenty of options for little trinkets, like mashed coins, photo booth. The gift shop has a lot to choose from, low prices options as well so you won't break the bank. Multiple options for food and drinks. Plan on spending at least 2 hours.

Fantastic experience: I really liked the layout of this aquarium. It looks like a mall from the outside but inside it doesn’t seem overwhelmingly big, which is nice if you have mobility problems. I liked that they had the sections labeled, like Africa, the Amazon, Predators of the Reef, and so on. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. Lots of great exhibits, plus a carousel, snack bar, gift shop, outdoor play area, and kiddie motion rides. They have wheelchairs, motorized scooters, and strollers to rent at very reasonable prices. We spent few hours here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely come again if in the area. We bought tickets at the door, no wait, no line, but the aquarium was crowded with families because the schools were out for spring break. Still awesome!

Positive experience: The Aquarium it really cool. The shark tank is definitely the main attraction. I made the mistake and went on St. Patricks day/Spring break and the place was extremely busy. Really hard to navigate with kids of your own during the busy times. Took us an hour to see everything.

Fantastic experience: An excellent place to bring the kids. They have an arcade, a playground, a place to buy food, a gift shop, and of course, LOTS of aquatic exhibits. From sea turtles to sharks to jellyfish to river otters they have it all. You won't be bored!

Positive experience: We came to the aquarium on the way to Tulsa, and we had a good time. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to pet the sharks or feed the stingrays because we didn’t make the times they had, but we still had a good time. They have a big shark tank with an underwater tunnel that you can walk through as the sharks swim over you. They had a good variety of exhibits that we enjoyed looking at.

Fantastic experience: A fun time was had by all! The carousel is neat! We loved the shark tunnel and touch pools! There were animals I had never seen in person before, such as the octopus and sea horses. There are unique items in the gift shop!

Fantastic experience: This is my third time and I am never disappointed with my time spent. I love the shark tunnel of course, and peeking at the octopus and what color he is this time. Today we went to the backstage Shark Feeding and it was really cool to see the work in the background, what it takes to keep the tank clean, the sharks happy, and the research that they partner with. You'll love it!

Fantastic experience: Really wonderful atmosphere. This place is a must-visit whether you're a local or visiting from out of town! There's plenty to do, expect to spend a few hours checking out the cool exhibits! They have turtles that you can feed and a super cool sting ray pool, as well as an area that you can touch jelly fish. They've really added a lot in the last few years. The gift shop is super cute!

Fantastic experience: We visited here for the second time, and we all had a great time. Online purchasing is easy and convenient, as you don’t need to select a specific date/time when buying tickets online. There is a wide variety of sea animals, and many are rare to see at other aquariums. My kids also loved the extra activities, and we ended up spending an additional ~$40-50 for both kids—but they loved the experience! ($5 for turtle/ray feeding, $10 for the VR experience, $2.50 for the carousel, and, of course, toys). Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Although there were some really cool things. We were extremely disappointed to learn there is only one sea turtle. I mean sea turtle island sounds like it would be more then 1! Guess next time I purchase something I’ll read the entirety of the site. Food was expensive, and not very tasteful. The bun on the burger was greasy! Fries were extremely hot which was good. But I wouldn’t recommend spending the money.

Positive experience: We went during Salsa Fest, which was neat because you could explore the aquarium while sampling salsa from various vendors. Unfortunately, they ran out of chips for purchase. The aquarium itself felt small. It’s a fun place but underwhelming if you’ve been to other aquariums. No one was enforcing the stingray and jellyfish touch times, aside from when touching was allowed. Although there were signs asking people to keep the noise down, that wasn’t enforced either.

Positive experience: This is a pretty cool way to spend an afternoon. Admission is expensive (about $25 for an adult), but I would imagine the upkeep for the animals costs quite a bit, so I get it. There are touch pools that mimic actual tide pools where you can walk up and touch small fish, shrimp, starfish, and other sea life. They have an area where you can feed turtles and another where you can feed the rays. They have one sea turtle who actually likes taking photos with people. He'll swim up and watch you and pose for pictures. Tanks everywhere contain everything you can think of - sharks, bass & catfish, anemones, jellyfish, an octopus, cowfish, clown fish, axylotls, beaver, otters, frogs, turtles, rays, and more. There's a walk-thru tunnel in the middle of the shark tank where you can watch sharks swimming over you. It's a great place to check out marine life of all kinds. They also have a restaurant, gift shop, and a sea-themed carousel ride. There is an underlying hint of sad that the animals are living their lives confined to tanks instead of being free in the wild, but they keep the tanks clean and the animals look healthy.

Fantastic experience: Worth the money!! Had a GREAT time here!! If you go in the morning, you can leave and come back that day. So we left after a bit and we came back to watch the sharks being fed. We were able to see the big tanks be fed. Able to see divers cleaning the tank. We were able to pet the stingrays and a few small sharks. We also could touch jellyfish gently. I enjoyed my visit and would 100% recommend visiting if you haven't already. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a season pass holder.

Fantastic experience: There are so many amazing exhibits. I felt like I was swimming alongside all the marine animals. There's a nice flow & atmosphere that I've never experienced at any other aquarium

Positive experience: Pretty pricey even for a senior and adult, the motorized wheelchair that you get for free at Costco cost as much as a ticket! Overall they did their best to display many species with info about them but it was sad to see the beaver and otter isolated in a way that made them appear to be acting slightly crazy. Too bad the exhibit couldn’t incorporate them together somehow. The bull sharks I hope were just rescues being rehabilitated as I noticed most have deformed/injured fins. But there were so many, is that for their benefit or just bragging rights?

Fantastic experience: I came to visit the aquarium, it is beautiful for a family atmosphere and with children, I spent an hour, there are many types of lakes, such as sharks and fish, admission is free, there is a gift shop, and children's games such as a merry-go-round, and a food court,

Fantastic experience: Great place for the kids. Wish the feeding and the merry go round didn’t cost money. At least not that much. $5 for a strip of carrots for the turtles is steep.

Fantastic experience: High quality viewing of amazing creatures, a very diverse selection, you won't be disappointed.. except in the octopus.. because like your dad, he'll keep running away from you.
