Fantastic experience: I Could not recommend the coral shop enough! It is literally the best saltwater aquarium shop on the coast, with heaps of fish and a crazy variety of corals. The coral shop team are Super friendly. They are always happy to answer all my questions, and no questions are dumb I just started my saltwater aquarium journey, and the Staff and owner are always happy to point me in the right direction when choosing rocks/lighting/pumps, and They don’t pressure you into buying the best of the best but rather set you up within your budget I can’t wait to purchase my first coral and fish with the coral shop when my tank is fully set up!!

I’m newer into the hobby and I definitely felt the staff were very polite and interested in my best interests. I was welcomed to ask a lot of questions about corals and learn a lot along the way. Everything I bought has already opened up and looks stunning. A great and valuable experience.

Negative experience: Went into shop to have a look at coral, asked the price of a nice torch. Was directed to the cheaper corals with shop attendant stating these are the ones you want to look at. Had to ask 3-4 for times for the price of the once I was interested in. Will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I ordered a cpl fish and a cpl star fish via their Web site and I have to say the fish are great happy healthy fish , the only problem with ordering over the internet is I didn't get to see the size of the fish and the hawk fish is a little larger than I though he would be along with the blue star I bought , also very large already but other than that I'm very happy with my purchase they have been a great addition to my mini reef system .

Fantastic experience: We love my new orange spotted diamond goby from The Coral Shop - my daughter has named him GlubGlub - he drip acclimated well and is doing great in my reef tank. He has "scaped" his burrow under the archway of a rock cave and is very considerate of my corals. He loves the Ocean Nutrition sinking pellets that I purchased with him and eats his frozen brine shrimp too. He is currently chasing the Grass shrimp that I added for him - one of them ate my Zenia so I hope he gets that guy asap ! He is beautiful, he really is and hes so fascinating and pretty chill and friendly mostly ( except when I tried to take a photo of him... the flash went off...and he shot into his burrow,,sorry but his feelings come before photo ops ). We are quite bonded already... hes family :) I have wanted one for so long but marine tanks are much harder to establish and understand and there is a learning curve there.. 18 months later I have learned a lot ( my parameters are "spot on " ) and am so happy with GlubGlub. Thankyou The Coral Shop for making my dreams of having a healthy and happy diamond goby in my reef tank come true. You guys are the best !! Cheers !!

Fantastic experience: The order arrived at my house in under 24 hours! The package was excellent, heat pack, carbon in the bags, double bagged, foam noodles, and appropriate mounts/floats for each coral type. I couldnt believe how great the temp was in the bags. I am usually I recieve cold bags of water, stressing over drastic temperature acclimation. The coral and nem I reviewed were in great shape and beautiful. I decided to merge two orders together and remove two of my original purchase pieces and the response was swift. I have no concerns about buying coral online with Coral Shop.

Negative experience: Super rude and abrupt. Wouldn't answer any questions and were told if we want advice they offer $130 for inhome advice. Also says instore shopping online but was told they're online only. Nelson's Marine is definitely better IMO.

Fantastic experience: Brendan is a honest and humble guy and takes the time to give you the best quality of service. Great range of corals and secondhand marine equipment!

Fantastic experience: Great shop, they have heaps of corals. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They have credit/debit card as payment. They sell refurbished/2nd hand equipment, with limited warranty so it's better than taking the gamble with gumtree/Facebook. Just no front sign so here's a photo of it.
