Positive experience: An architectural unique complex for sciences, arts, nature, and people. It is definitely worth exploration of these buildings and environments.

Positive experience: I highly recommend the oceanarium. Lots of interesting species. Dolphin show. Ancient museum. Few interesting exhibits, many of them don't work. History conveyed mainly through text (rarely translated into English), few photos or visitor engagement. The film is a disaster. The Spanish dubbing is not muted and mixes with the English in the old headphones. The screen is unimpressive (average cinema). The films selected for presentation are not very interesting.

Fantastic experience: Amazing architecture, very valuable also the art and science museum.

Juan Barbosa 4 months ago

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place. Museum and aquarium right there. Also a nice spot to walk around, with an unique architecture and nature. Tockets to the aquarium are always available at the kiosks, even if the webaite says they are sold out.

Fantastic experience: With history and futuristic, it is a must to visit the museum and the oceanographer, go on different days because it is tiring.

Positive experience: We really enjoyed it, we wanted to go by boat but it is under construction so maybe next time, but everything else was great, a nice place to walk around.

Fantastic experience: Great place, even better if you ride a bike! 100% recommended, heart of Valencia, heart of the city where you should take a photo and share. A marvel of architecture and modern art. If you like this and more, come here.

Fantastic experience: Impressive, there is so much to see and I recommend not missing the sunset on the water

Fantastic experience: I think it's a spectacular place, its architecture is very unique but beautiful. I love it, I really enjoyed the science and art museum. Coincidentally, the day I went they had an exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci and I was in love!

Fantastic experience: The best side of Valencia without a doubt. Perfect for spending the day with family and kids. The park, with plenty of shade in summer, is ideal.

Elena Dominguez 5 months ago

Positive experience: It's a pity to arrive outside of the opening hours and not be able to enjoy the place more. The surroundings are beautiful, although not all the water areas were available; the ones that were were clean, and the seagulls looked like postcards. The luck is finding locals who give you tips you didn't know about, like being able to have a conversation from one end to the other with someone without shouting.

Fantastic experience: One of the most modern and spectacular areas of Valencia. A must-see, plus you have an attractive shopping square in front and on the side, the Oceanographic. One of the most important aquariums in the world. Perfect for enjoying a whole day.

maribel González Ávila 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: I assume it will be distributed by pavilions, but we only walked inside and outside on a very poorly organized trip. However, I will return to see it more calmly.

Samuel R 5 months ago

Positive experience: It's a space with modern constructions that are, let's say, futuristic, such as CaixaForum, the science museum, the Hemispheric, and the Palace of Arts. You can buy a combined ticket for the museum, the Hemispheric, and the Oceanographic, but be careful, you won't have enough time to see everything calmly in one day.

Fantastic experience: A must-visit in Valencia. The City of Arts and Sciences is a spectacular place that combines art, science, architecture, and nature in a unique way. The futuristic design of the buildings is impressive, especially at sunset, when the light reflects on the ponds. I recommend visiting the Oceanogràfic, which is one of the largest and most complete aquariums in Europe, and the Science Museum, perfect for going with children or simply enjoying learning interactively. It's also worth strolling around the surroundings, relaxing, and taking photos: every corner is postcard-worthy. Ideal for spending the whole day enjoying a cultural, educational, and visual experience. A place you cannot miss if you come to Valencia!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to explore and stroll, the entrance to the museum is not expensive, it's 7 euros and you can leave your car all day for the price of the ticket.

Fantastic experience: A place for science lovers. You can spend hours trying all kinds of experiments. Totally recommended, an experience that simulates NASA's space experience. Special mention to the worker ROSA who explained everything to us and immersed us in the experience (it is recommended to buy tickets in advance because they are limited). The Hemisférico was impressive too.

Fantastic experience: A majestic yet entertaining, educational, and awe-inspiring place. The energy of the place is great, its facilities are well maintained, and the offer in art and science is significant. They achieve their purpose of bringing knowledge of science and the magic of art closer through play and experimentation.

Positive experience: It’s fine, I love museums where you have to interact. The only downside I would mention is that for such a large museum building, it is underutilized.

Fantastic experience: A spectacular place, it is beautiful, I can't explain it, it is lovely and Valencia is a beautiful and tranquil city, I recommend it.

Andy 5 months ago

Fantastic experience: It is undoubtedly the most spectacular architectural project in Valencia. It is its signature identity and therefore a must-see in the city. You should dedicate at least an entire day to see it, and it is an experience that will not be forgotten. From the oceanographic to the opera, not forgetting the museum and the hemispheric. I love it.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! I was there yesterday, and even though I had been there before, we went so my partner could visit! What a great decision, it is important to see the exhibitions, although everything else is great, and the best part is that it is interactive. It is very entertaining. And the staff is lovely!!!!

Fantastic experience: A place that not only defines the skyline of Valencia but also its vocation for beauty, art, and the future. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, this jewel of contemporary architecture is much more than a set of striking buildings: it is a sensorial experience. Each structure—from the Hemisfèric to the Museu de les Ciències and the Oceanogràfic—seems like it was taken from a sci-fi dream come true. The fusion between futuristic design, water mirrors, and the natural environment of the old Turia riverbed turns the visit into an almost dreamlike walk. Ideal for exploring at a leisurely pace, whether by day or at sunset, when the light transforms everything. A must-see for tourists and for those who live in the city: it doesn’t get exhausted in a single visit. Cultural, educational, and photogenic from any angle.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! The parks are very beautiful, an architectural gem! Valencia is an incredible city!

Gaston Liotta 6 months ago

Negative experience: Beautiful except if you have reduced mobility and can't climb stairs. Only 1 out of 4 elevators working (the last one, at the height of the arts palace) in the most touristy spot in the city. Lacking maintenance and accessibility.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to spend some time walking and admiring it. It seemed there was going to be a concert but we couldn't find out in the end.

Fantastic experience: One of the most famous avant-garde complexes in Valencia and recognized worldwide. In this place, we can find several buildings with spectacular and beautiful designs that host different uses, including exhibitions, projections, and fauna of all kinds. I highly recommend strolling through the parks around this place.

Fantastic experience: On my journey, I arrived at the Renfe terminal in Valencia from Madrid. From there, I walked for about 45 minutes to reach the City of Arts. The walk was very safe, and it gave me the opportunity to get to know some neighborhoods of Valencia. Being in the city, it is truly impressive to see such a structure live. I recommend buying tickets online and scheduling a whole day to enjoy all the attractions, although personally, I loved the Oceanographic very much.

Positive experience: Very interesting space architecturally and aesthetically. It is not very functional for holding conferences. It deserves a visit.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place with many museums and outdoor activities. Look for the nursery/garden on the upper floor next to the avenue. It's free and very nice.

valen fajardo 6 months ago

Positive experience: It has been a lovely experience. It's ideal for photos outside and the most beautiful. The exhibitions are well organized. It was a bit disappointing that the inside wasn't as nice as the outside.

Fantastic experience: Impressive architecture and design of this place that adds a modern touch to the city of Valencia, used for recordings such as Game of Thrones makes this a perfect place for photographs, sunbathing, and getting carried away by its futuristic geometries.

Fantastic experience: The jewel of Valencia, no matter how many times you look at it, it's incredible. If you go at sunset, the views are much more beautiful.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular!!! What a magical place, I loved it, everything is very well taken care of, the architectural part is amazing, I will come back very soon

Luisana Romero 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place to visit, it is worth entering all parts of the museum because each one offers a unique experience. In the case of the hemispherical room, they had good surround sound with the curved screen, I enjoyed the projection in a realistic way. As for the science museum, it is well focused for family fun with children because they have various interactive infographics that allow playful learning. The architecture is spectacular, clearly something out of the ordinary.

Lilia Scutelnic 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: It is the best that can exist. Everything is very beautiful; when I saw it for the first time, I fell in love with this place. If you are in Valencia, you have to visit it no matter what.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular. I don't think there is a better word to define this place. A must-visit.

Edgardo Jiménez 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: It is a place that must be seen in person to understand the magnitude of what Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela managed to capture. Each complex has its own, and I recommend dedicating a full day to each one to see everything calmly. The architectural achievement represented by this site is impressive. I will return in the future to visit the rest of the complexes; I only had the chance to go to the Science Museum and the Oceanographic, and if you only have a few hours in Valencia, I think those two stops are very worthwhile.

Jason Albino 6 months ago

Positive experience: Impressive architecture, but inside the museum and the Hemisferic leave a lot to be desired. I found the museum very boring except for the space section, not to mention that I was just eager to leave because of the heat inside. Zero ventilation. The Hemisferic is an incredible room but completely underutilized, as they showed a short that is older than the sun that doesn't take advantage of it at all (the intro for a few seconds was more impressive than anything else). I didn't get tickets for the Oceanographic, and now I regret it because I think that's the only thing that is really worth it.

Fantastic experience: How can I not give you 5 stars, beautiful city full of all this spectacular infrastructure that rises to be admired by everyone who comes to Valencia to get to know you! I wouldn't get tired of going to admire you!!!!

Raul Espilez 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: The City of Arts and Sciences is, due to its design, a must-visit. You feel like you're in a futuristic movie set. Additionally, it contains 6 different spaces to visit: the Science Museum, the Oceanogràfic, the Hemispheric, the Palau de les Arts, the Ágora, and the Umbracle. All of them are highly recommended if you organize your visit over at least two days.

Yolanda Rodríguez Fernández 6 months ago

Negative experience: It's worth it for its architecture, culture, and entertainment, very expensive indeed. I also have to say that it's quite dirty, the bathrooms are shameful and it was early in the morning, I can't imagine how they would be later. It needs a fresh coat of paint. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastic experience: We went on a Saturday, a great outing for all ages.

José González 6 months ago

Positive experience: Some architectural elements show a lack of proper maintenance and cleanliness. The tickets for different buildings and activities are expensive. The most notable aspect; the beautiful thing is the architecture of all the buildings. The architectural contribution of Calatrava is appreciated.

GIGUIMO 6 months ago

Positive experience: I have visited the entire complex several times and the truth is that it is really worth it to spend a good day as a couple, with family, or alone. Regardless of the plan, it is true that seeing everything in one day is impossible; you need at least 2 days. The museum for children is great, it's interactive and both kids and adults enjoy it a lot. The oceanographic is impressive.

Fantastic experience: It will be one of the few things by Mr. Calatrava that is not deteriorated, a beautiful place to stroll, visit, and have something to drink. It is advisable to buy the combined ticket.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional and a must-see if you go to Valencia. The food, as in all places, is super expensive, but you can bring your own or order something simple at the various places to eat there. Everything is very well done and spacious. You should have at least 4 hours to see everything and plan your route if you want to go in order and not take unnecessary detours. I sum it up in one word: BEAUTIFUL.

Fantastic experience: A futuristic icon where science, art, and nature meet. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the City of Arts impresses with its avant-garde architecture: the Hemisfèric, the Science Museum, the Umbracle, the Oceanogràfic, and the Palau de les Arts are must-see stops. Recommendations: • Buy tickets online and arrive early. • Dedicate at least a full day. • Don’t miss the sunset reflected in the water mirrors. • Comfortable footwear is a must. Visiting it is like daydreaming between art and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: This area corresponding to the beginning of the Turia promenade is beautiful. It has the large Valencia letters for taking photos. In addition, there is one that says 'Museum of Sciences' in the water area. If you walk along the top part, there is a small botanical garden with many palm trees and bushes that you can enter for free. To park for free, you can go into the El Saler shopping center.

Estanque de Tera 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: I had been waiting for a long time and it was worth it. I imagined it to be smaller, and the truth is that it seems monumental to me. You have to see it, no matter what. I could see little (there will be time for more, for sure), I loved it. Being in Valencia and not taking at least a walk should be punished by law.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful family experience with fun activities. We went to a theater inside the City of Sciences, very enjoyable for both adults and children, highly recommend.

Ana Paula Alexandre 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Modern area with a spectacular architectural concept. This city was built over the ancient bed of the Turia River and took advantage of the situation to construct 'eco-friendly' buildings and maintain water mirrors that recall the existence of the old river. I visited the Caixa Forum and the science museum.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to spend an afternoon with family and take some beautiful photos

Fantastic experience: Visually, it is always a very pleasant experience to visit the CAC. It doesn’t tire you out even when it shines more on such bright days. Additionally, it adds how spontaneously even passing people kindly play... a piano. It can and should be repeated regularly, especially for those of us who have it so close.

Fantastic experience: The architecture of this area is stunning. Everything is incredible!

Positive experience: The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia is an impressive place that combines modern architecture, culture, and entertainment. The facilities are very well maintained and offer a unique educational and visual experience for both adults and children. The Oceanogràfic and the Science Museum are especially recommended. However, I give it 4 stars because there were too many people, which made it difficult to enjoy everything peacefully. The lines to enter some areas were long and at certain times the noise was excessive. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth a visit, especially if you can go in the low season or early in the day. A landmark that very well represents Valencia's innovative spirit.

Positive experience: For us, it's a must-visit if you have small children. Specifically, the Oceanographic is convenient for a half-day visit; the children love the aquarium and the dolphins. We also watched the 10-minute movie in 4D, which the 5-year-old girl loved; although it is aimed at very young children, for older ones it might feel a bit short. We were left wanting to eat at the underwater restaurant... make a reservation in advance... and a special mention goes to the change in focus they have made in recent years towards caring for the environment and animals, as well as the educational work that is present throughout the visit. Very good.

Fantastic experience: The City of Arts and Sciences is a must-stop if you visit Valencia. The architectural complex is stunning: modern, futuristic, and surrounded by green areas and ponds that make it even more spectacular. Strolling around there is an experience in itself. We visited the Science Museum, which is very interactive and entertaining for both adults and children, and the Oceanogràfic, which simply left us speechless. In summary: a place where art, architecture, science, and nature blend together. Ideal for spending the whole day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The City of Arts and Sciences (in Valencian and officially Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències) is an architectural, cultural, and entertainment complex in the city of Valencia, the capital of the Valencian Community. The complex, in neofuturistic style, was designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela. It was inaugurated on June 9, 1998, with the opening of the Hemisférico. The last major component of the City is the Ágora, located between the l'Assut de l'Or bridge and the Oceanogràfic.
